Have very pain full problem, referred to. Dr Degroot. After waiting 5 weeks for appt. Was told needed another form. Still in pain, no one was willing to to help me. I'm new to area, and don't understand, seems the poor just gets passed on here.I'm now trying to be seen by another doctor, but have 2 month wait for appointment. By the time I get help, I will have suffered a minimum 5 months. So glad I have medi-cal. What a joke. Front desk was condisending, no compassion, smile, nothing, felt like a crawling under the table.

I've been going to Dr. Degroot about 4 years. He is very personable and knowledgeable, which is great combination for a Doctor. Excellent staff and front desk as well. I would highly recommend him!

At the time of my visit they insisted I must pay a co pay up front or I would not be seen. I explained I was sure I would not owe a co pay but they insisted, reassuring me I would be refunded any over payment. Well guess what, I get my blue shield statement and sure enough I did not owe the co pay. I call them to request my refund and of course I get the run around. You must call billing on the east coast. Problem is they put me on hold every time I call and never answer. I am left on hold for eternity. They are really good at taking your money but not good at giving it back when they over charge. Believe me if we wouldn't pay our bill they would turn us into collections real quick but if they owe us money too bad.

Dr. Degroot is a great dr.,but his billing dept.is lacking.try calling to talk to the billing dept. and you will hear a woman talking in a language I have never heard before and then a message saying this number is no longer in service.when you go to the office like I did twice ,the billing person is not there.it is nearly impossible to talk to an actual person.

Not pleased.... My pharmacy has tried to fax his office for a refill with my prescription for 3 weeks now with no reply. I have also made several calls to there office and can not get an answer or a return call. Very unprofessional
