Dr Levin Is a excellent surgeon, on my first visit with her she told me she could guarantee 90% of correcting my lower eye lids . Well she hit 100% thank you Dr Levin , I will definitely give your name to any one I know that needs eye lid surgery.

I regret taking so long to post this review. And its different than others here. But we never forgot Dr. Flora Levin! A few years ago, my husband was diagnosed at 49 years old, with an extremely rare eye cancer, that stopped us cold. He developed a detached retina due to the tumor and our ophthalmologist referred us to Dr. Levin. We are so grateful for that referral. She was so caring and easy to trust. Dr. Levin was careful to ensure my husband would still have muscles to accommodate his fake eye and thus, give it normal looking movement. She removed all of the tumor and cancer and today no one can even remember which eye it was. This was a very scary time for us, but Dr. Levin was pivotal in helping ease our fears. Since then, Rob has been five years cancer free, able to work and function and look as if it never happened. We used humor to get us thru as well and remember him calling Dr. Levin Dr. 4-11 and she laughed along with us. :)We will forever be grateful to her. As far as Im concerned, Dr. Levin saved my husbands life.

I highly recommend Dr. Levin, she is an expert professional in her field.With passing years, the skin above my eyelids started sagging, causing my eyes to look droopy. In addition, I had difficulty opening them fully during routine eye exams. When I asked to my dermatologist for any solutions, their office referred me to Dr. Flora Levin.At the consultation, Dr. Levin recommended eyelid surgery with local anesthesia, with a conservative approach without removing too much skin since I am a male. Her matter of fact explanations and her professional attitude convinced me to do the procedure at her office.Dr. Levin was serious, focused, dexterous, quick, and precise during my procedure, reflecting the confidence of having performed it numerous times. She was also compassionate during the operation; she explained each step exactly and how it would feel to me, which kept me calm. With her staff, they were meticulously organized and had all the handouts, prescriptions and products prepared and ready, exactly when needed.Overall, all went smoothly as planned and I am really happy with the results; my eyes look great, the droopiness gone without a major change in my overall appearance. Besides, I can open my eyes all the way; I dont have to tilt my head back in photos anymore!

I was able to speak with Dr. Levin a few times before I really committed to an upper blepharoplasty and I felt very comfortable with her personally and as a practitioner. Her credentials are impeccable and her advice was very conservative and honest. She was very truthful and is an absolute perfectionist, which is exactly what I wanted. Dr. Levin also has the softest touch of any surgeon that Ive ever been too. And I am a BIG chicken!!!! I would suggest going to see her and chatting. I love her team as well. My expectations were pretty basic except that I did not want a bunch of tiny stitches and she was able to accommodate that with no problems. Im very happy with the outcome of my procedure and would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Levin.

Hey guys . I bumped it up to 2 stars , just because the staff was very sweet, and welcoming when arriving to my consultation. DR. Levin on the other hand made me feel uncomfortable . I felt she was talking down to me when I was trying to explain to her the concerns I had, but we both weren't on the same page as to what I wanted done . The communication was poor and will not be seeing her again.

If you are looking for a great cosmetic doctor, Dr.Levin is a fabulous choice! She is excellent at what she does, straightforward in her approach and explains options in an easily understandable way. She details expected results and doesnt profess to deliver more than what is realistic for the chosen procedure. She did an excellent job on my upper eyelid skin removal as well as the Embrace RF (neck and jawline) procedure. I am a 64 yr old woman and absolutely thrilled with the results - especially my neck! Its only been 6 weeks and I now have a defined shelf again (90 degree angle) as opposed to my previous 45 degree angle. My neck looks like it did 20 years ago! I cant wait to see the results at the 4-6 month mark when I should see the most marked improvement! And it was so much less expensive, less painful (in fact, really only very minor discomfort for a few days) and way less downtime than a lower facelift. Im really glad I chose to go with the Embrace RF rather than a lower facelift. I am also very pleased with the results of the derma fillers. Ive never had any and I just got them in my deep marionette lines and mouth area as well as my very thin lips. I look fresher, younger, more awake and my resting face is better, less sad looking.....plus Dr.Levin was as gentle as possible while doing the procedure. Regarding my lips: I never really thought much about my lips but Dr. Levin suggested that given my big eyes, increasing the volume of my lips a little bit would balance my face more. And she was right! I love it!Dr. Levin and her staff are all very personable, professional and helpful. And it is one of the very few doctors offices I have ever been in where my appointments start on time! I have never waited more than 5 minutes to see her and often I go right in when I get there. Not my usual experience in doctors offices and with my busy schedule, one that I really appreciate.I highly recommend Dr. Levin. You will not be disappointed!

As a 50 year old male I pride myself on trying to stay healthy and fit and while many things are within my control I began to notice that my eye lids were beginning to become more noticeably droopy and at times felt like my vision would be obstructed because of it. People would often say you look tired and I felt as if my eye lids were the reason. I did some research on eye lid surgery before deciding on meeting with Dr. Flora Levin for a consultation. From the first phone call to set up my consultation through surgery, she and her staff have all been amazing. Diane is so sweet , informative and very quick to respond to my calls or messages. Allison always greeted me with a great smile and was there for any questions I may have had.When I went in for the consult, Dr. Levin took so much time with me explaining the procedure and the results I could expect. Then again at pre op her bedside manner is amazing. She made me feel so comfortable which reinforced my decision to move forward with this procedure. From start to finish my surgery was about an hour. Dr. Levin delivered on everything we discussed from the moment she began the procedure right thru to the last stitch. Once again assuring me that all went very well as expected. She is very meticulous and wants the absolute best results. I never felt rushed and knew that patient safety is of the utmost priority at this practice. As I write this I am about 1 month post op but and am so pleased with the results and the difference is very noticeable. Best decision I've made to choose Dr. Levin and go forward with this procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Levin not only for her expertise in surgical and non-surgical procedures around the eyes but her personable, caring and compassionate demeanor. The staff gets bonus points too!

Dr. Flora Levin is professional and compassionate. I visited the office for a consultation on hollowing of one eyelid due to a previous unrelated medical issue and she was able to walk me through the process of using cosmetic injectables to make my eyelids symmetrical again. I am a physician anesthesiologist. I've known Dr. Levin since 2012, when we used to work together at Yale's Temple Surgical Center. I personally provided anesthesia for at least 50 of her patients.Even back then, she was already an amazing doctor. Not only did she have the most pleasant personality, both with the patients and the OR staff, but she also had impeccable surgical technique, probably a result of her training at one of the best eye hospitals in the country (and in the world). She was a pleasure to watch in the OR, and one could see significant improvements by the end of her surgeries. Despite being the youngest of the eye plastic surgeons, she was the first choice for those members of the staff who opted for eye rejuvenation surgery.So when my mom needed eye surgery for her Bell's palsy, I didn't even consider anybody else. My mom is a physician who lives and still works in Europe, where she doesn't have easy access to highly specialized eye plastic surgeons like Dr. Levin. Because her Bell's palsy affects the entire right half of her face, making it sag, she could not properly close her right eye and was at risk for corneal injury (and possibly blindness).Before meeting Dr. Levin, she would not hear about corrective surgery. Dr. Levin made such a wonderful impression on her (despite my mom not speaking English), that she decided to have the surgery. She was very happy with the results.That was about 5 years ago, but because the lower half of her face hasn't been fixed (she refuses) and keeps pulling on the lower eyelid, she needed the procedure again. Going back to Dr. Levin was a no-brainer. My mom feels very relaxed under her care and she is actually looking forward to every encounter and checkup. She says that besides Dr. Levin's excellent bedside manner, she has an incredibly light touch and amazing hands, so my mom didn't feel any discomfort despite the hour-long procedure having been done with minimal sedation and local anesthesia.As an anesthesiologist, I get to see the best and worst of surgeons, and I am usually very reluctant to make recommendations, even privately, but I feel that Dr. Levin deserves every accolade her patients have posted on the Web, and I just want to add my name to that long list. She has operated on my mother twice, and both times the patient experience and outcomes were perfect. I have no hesitation in recommending her to anybody who needs eye plastic or reconstructive surgery. Dr. Levin is a wonderful human being and physician, and she would be my first choice if I personally ever needed eye surgery, even if I would have to travel across the country for it.
