Dr. Carter is incredible. She performed a very complicated surgery on my lower lip which needed to be removed and reconstructed. Her skill as surgeon was excellent. There is NO sign that a surgery was performed. Also her staff is the the best. Talented and positive and dedicated. I have met them all and they are wonderful. This is a reflection of Dr. Carter's professionalism and leadership. . It is not possible to give a higher recommendation to a doctor or a staff. One last point, Dr. Carter is a special person even when she is not being a doctor. She is the best.

I was referred to Dr. Carter by my dermatologist, to have some skin cancer removed from a prominent location on my face. After examining me, she was not hesitant to send me to another surgeon who could do a more suitable procedure in my case, which already impressed me. I then returned to Dr. Carter to have the wound closed, and she did a great job. Several nurses at Sibley Memorial Hospital remarked that Dr. Carter is the best at what she does, and I can believe it. Her first concern was always to ensure the best possible result. Her staff are wonderful as well, very attentive and patient with my frequent questions.

Was referred to this doctor from Georgetown Dermatology. Looks like it happens a lot. I was told I could be scheduled for Friday if I emailed them photos of my condition. At least the doctor would be in touch with me. Its Monday and I hadnt heard anything. Called to followup and the reassuring the doctor will be in touch became I dont know when you will hear back or even if you will be scheduled. will update if they ever schedule me.

I was hit by an Uber driver while crossing the street and sustained a record-breaking hematoma that continued to fill up with serum. Luckily Dr Carter was my surgeon for two operations. My incisions were 9.5 inches and quite deep and I had to wear external drains. Because she is such a skilled surgeon, I only had to take pain medicine for 24 hours after each operation and was able to return to work after 4 weeks. I highly recommend Dr. Carter.
