I've been going to the Oviedo, FL office for several years. I am very pleased with the warm, friendly and professional service. My dermatologist is Adelaide Smith. She has a friendly manner and keen professional eye for examination. She also gives good advise and explanation of her findings. She revealed a Squamous cell carcinoma a few months ago and helped arrange for my surgery. While recovering, I was surprised to receive a call from her. She just wanted to check with me to see how I was doing. Not just a professional but a very nice lady! C Heater

Dr. Smith is AMAZING!!! My family has been using Mid Florida Dermatology for several years. Dr. Smith has gone above and beyond to help my teenagers with their skin issues. She is down to earth and makes me feel very comfortable. I would HIGHLY recommend using Dr. Smith at Mid Florida Dermatology in Oviedo.

I went there to see a dermatologist because I have eczema and got referred from my school. Before going to my appointment, I asked them multiple times about an estimate of the cost I would have to pay and I did not receive any clear answer. When I got there, the receptionist did not give me instruction at all and I felt like I was lost. Again, thru out all the documents that they gave me, I was still clueless about the cost of my appointment. They never asked me if I was okay with the cost or not. Then the doctor came in, talked to me in like 5 minutes and referred me to an allergist!!! She answered my questions by telling to go see and ask that allergist. Then two weeks later I got a medical bill from them. It's not very much, just the copay but I don't think it's worth it at all. They didn't check my skin condition or give me any useful advice or answer my questions. Such a waste of time and money. I wish there was a way to dispute that bill because I was not satisfied at all with the quality of my appointment!

This would not be my first choice for a dermatologist. The staff seemed apathetic and indifferent. With so many options, l recommend looking elsewhere.

My experience with Mid Florida Dermatology was pleasant and painless. Appointments were easy to obtain and the staff was curious and professional. My appointment was with Ms. Baker, P.A.C. and she was great. The follow up on the minor procedures that were performed were easy to schedule as well. I would definitely recommend Mid Florida Dermatology.

I had an unbelievable appointment with Dr. Plank at the Oviedo office today. First, my appointment was rescheduled by them- when I arrived at the new appt, the nurse called me back 25 min after my appt time and told me, 'I'm not sure why you are here today.' Apparently I was scheduled for a 'surgery' with lovely Dr. Plank but should have been just a second biopsy that should have been preformed- along with a mole removal. The nurse explained it like I was the one that made the error and kept telling me, 'Dr. Plank only does surgeries' ....not sure why I was scheduled here if that was the case, I live about 20 min from this location and would have just went to the original location by my house if that was the case. She gets argumentative with me, and tells me everything my appt was set for would not be done today because of time restraints (which have nothing to do with me) so naturally I was frustrated and said that wasn't acceptable. It's now 1 hr past my appt time and she storms out, telling me she is done dealing with me. Um ok. Another nurse comes in and I truly felt bad for her, she was thrown in the middle of this and the other nurse told her nothing about what the issue was. Plank storms in and seems confused on why I'm here also, sits down like he's on his lunch break and tells me it's just a mild case. Ok, so that means nothing? You guys sent me certified letters to remind me to get this done. Tells me he'll do the second biopsy but not the mole removal- no, I would like everything I came here for today that was previously scheduled for- told him no thanks and got dressed and walked out. On the way out, I pass him in the hallway and tell him to have a nice day- he tells the nurse, 'mark her in the system and 'fire' her from our practice' I can't help but laugh. I will GLADLY find a new derm, who has competent staff, sticks to appt times, doesn't argue with clients over your mistakes and 'fire' them when they get upset at your unbelievable office practices.

Overall great experience every time at Mid Florida Dermatology. Never any wait time, I am seen usually within 5 minutes of entering the offices. Staff is always courteous and kind and makes the experience enjoyable.
