I have been to the Bourbonnais location three times now and have been very pleased with the people, atmosphere and level of knowledge and care. I am especially happy with my nurse practitioner Fiona. I also like that I've never had a wait. Generally no more than 5-10 minutes. I recommend them and encourage anyone to go and get a regular skin check up by the fine staff at Pinnacle Bourbonnais.

All the staff that I dealt with were very nice & friendly.I was seen by Taryn. She's very welcoming, explained everything she was doing and what I needed to do for my skin very thoroughly. She did a thorough full body exam and treated a couple areas. Taryn was recommended to me by a friend and Pinnacle/Dr. Lapinski (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was recommended by my primary care doctor so I felt confident that I would be in good hands. I couldn't be more pleased with their service. I did think that the parking lot, which for the most part is behind the building, was a considerable walk from the front door, especially for older people or those days when it's raining or snowing and icy. If fact one man came in after me and made the comment that they needed a shuttle bus to the building. He was joking, but I understood what he meant. They do have a drop off at the door for those who can't walk far or are challenged. Overall, a great experience! You won't be disappointed with these professionals.

I have been a patient at Pinnacle for a few years, typically with positive experiences. At this year's annual exam, after waiting in a crowded waiting room for 30 min past the time of my appointment, I felt rushed through my exam. I hope this doesn't happen in future appointments.

I had skin cancer removed from my chest. Drs said it would be an easy procedure. It was far from it! It got infected! After healed had to go back twice for steroid injections. Now that puffiness has gone down I am left with a 3 inch jagged Frankenstein scar (cancer spot was size of tip of pencil) that they want to wait 3 months or more if they will do anything to fix but looking like not! Im so disappointed and now depressed because I cant wear anything that shows my hideous chest. I would say get a couple of options before you get a surgery! A few nurses on staff was saying my surgery could of been done different or used different materials to make outcome better. I dont understand how they can leave someone looking like this especially if it upsets them so much.

Always enjoyed going here until they refused to bill anything as preventative. Apparently getting a potentially cancerous mole removed after your primary doctor tells you to doesn't count as preventing cancer. Oh, they also did additional testing on the biopsy without my consent which racked up the cost even more.

My appointment was scheduled for 10:15 am on a Monday June 24. I arrived at the appointed time, checked in and found a seat in the waiting room. After waiting 30 min. I became a little agitated that I hadn't been called but saw a full waiting room and cooled my heels. After an additional 15 minutes, I asked if I had been forgotten and was told that earlier patients had required additional procedures and Fiona had been delayed. It would have been nice if I had been told that at check-in. Once in the exam room, I got the feeling I was the patient that was going to help her 'make-up' time in her schedule as treatment time was, at most, 5 min. I will continue to return - for now, as dermatologists are in short supply in the Kankakee area.

After waiting to see a Dr, I was seen by a NP in a rushed visit and 2 weeks later still no call or concern for my anxiety over results that may be malignant. I should have gone through my family dermatologist with lab on site & also sends out. They start treatment immediately. I'll travel to Orland Park in the future. No empathy at all here.

The Staff at Pinnacle are BEYOND professional, helpful, caring - they are just fun to be around! Sometimes it can be very stressful to see a dermatologist, but everyone at Pinnacle makes you feel so comfortable as they calm your fear. Fiona from the Bourbonnais office is the Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner and this woman is AMAZING! My mother in law has gone to the Bourbonnais office for the last three years. On her 94th birthday she had an appointment and they threw her a party during her visit! She felt so special and we are so grateful to have had them caring for her! I live more than 40 miles from this facility, but travel there for my dermatology care! LOVE THEM!I HIGHLY recommend Pinnacle, you will be very happy with all their care!

I never felt rushed, or questions being asked to doc were silly. All issues were addressed, and if we have any further concerns, we were told call and let her know.
