As a business owner, community volunteer and former Commissioner for an SSA in Chicago I had put off addressing my difficulty breathing and seemingly constant head pressure - as if a massive hand was spread over the top of my head squeezing it just enough to be bothersome - for years before finally meeting with Dr. Shapiro. Not only did I have sinus issues that needed repaired, but my left septum was severe enough that it too was obstructing my air flow, I have an enlarged uvula that needs repaired and on top of those there were growths that needed worked on as well further back past the septum. I went in for surgery and within 2 weeks after I was able to take a deep breath in and out of my nose and actually breath without issue and my head no longer feels constantly under pressure - for the first time in as long as I can recall! If you even remotely think you may have an issue that needs Dr Shapiro professional review, contact the office asap! Dr Shapiro and his team are professional, compassionate and dedicated to helping people get healthy!I can not thank Dr Shapiro and his team enough for all that they did to investigate and repair the issues impacting me.

Dr. Shapiro is an amazing person. Very easy going, compassionate, and straightforward. I did my surgery take care of my sinusitis and couple of other issues on the 29th of May of this year. I remember him standing by me the whole time when I entered the surgery room, told me not to worry, and assured me that he will take care of me. I woke up from the surgery with no pain but little drowsy from the anesthesia. Today is day number 5 and I still have not suffered any sort of pain, and anxious for my follow up visit tomorrow. Thank you Dr. ShapiroAs for Han and Zee, they were easy going, professional, informative, and took care of me every time I visited the office. Thank you guys!

Hands down the best ENT. I came to Dr. Shapiro due to the fact that I had a hard time breathing out of my nose, turns out I had a deviated septum. Even though I work in the medical field myself, I came into this surgery very nervous about anesthesia and pain. Well, I had an amazing experience starting from my pre-operative appointment to my post-operative appointment. The recovery was painless, just a little uncomfortable due to the fact that I had to sleep on my back for a couple of days and I had no negative side effects from the anesthesia! It is now a week since I had my surgery and I feel great; I can finally breathe out of my nose again. Thank you Dr. Shapiro and his great staff for the stupendous care.

Great doctor - not like most doctors whom only spend 5 minutes with the patient. Spends a large amount of time with his patients answering questions and doing thorough tests to get down to root cause of your issue / problem. Calls back right away if you have questions after your visit as well.

He is truly amazing. I woke up one morning and was cleaning my ears with a q-tip and lost hearing in one ear. I gave it a day and stil no luck got the ear candles and I think I made it worse so I was referred to him through some relatives. It took him nothing but 10min to look into my ear see the problem and instantly he worked his magic and I could hear again in seconds. Quick and painless. The staff was great aswell. Very professional. Thank you.
