I was a little bit hesitant going into this, just as anyone would be after having thinning hair over the course of the last few years and hearing over and over again about the failed methods tried by peers, friends or acquaintances (even public figures) who had tried other methods and either ended up with terrible scarring or it was just completely noticeable that a surgery had been done or taken place, which is almost worse than balding in the first place. But I wanted my hair back. Bottom line. I did the research over the course of a few months, and the only person whose name continued to come up as a successful and reputable doctor in the field I needed him to be successful and reputable in was Dr. Mark Berkowitz at the Michigan Hair Restoration Clinic. His site looked professional and the testimonials were all amazing but what really made me feel confident that he would not only take care of me during surgery but that it would actually work was when I got the chance to meet him personally during my consultation. He was very thorough in explaining the NeoGraft procedure and how it worked/ healed, As well as the ins and outs of what would happen before and after my procedure. There was no dog any pony show, no sales pitch; he just explained his method and the science. The big day came and went in what felt like somewhat of a stupor, as of course you are medicated for the procedure, I was fed and kept really comfortable throughout the day as my NeoGraft procedure was being done. Dr. Berkowitz and his nurses were kind and made the very long surgery/ day easy to bear. They called my wife to pick me up after everything was complete and we made our way home the following day. There was definitely some mild discomfort for the first day or so following my procedure as he had warned me about in the very beginning, but after taking my meds as directed and meticulously following the doctors after care schedule guess what?Hair! Natural and real growing in thicker every day; whats best about it is that it grows in gradually from your own hair follicles on its own, in my experience making it barely noticeable to others that I had any work done. I would recommend The Michigan Hair Restoration Clinic as well as Dr. Berkowitz and his NeoGraft method any day. Thank you Dr. Berkowitz, I am genuinely pleased with the outcome of my experience with you, your team and your clinic. A+
