Dr. Matthew Smith and his team at Great Lakes Plastic Surgery Center were amazing. Everyone was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Smith took his time to answer all my questions and make sure I was comfortable with my procedure (breast augmentation) and the recovery. He personally called to check on me the evening of my procedure. Dr. Smith and his team took care of me start to finish and it was the best medical experience I have encountered. I would highly recommend Great Lakes Plastic Surgery Center.

Very sad results, he coded the surgery I needed done after a double mastectomy and said sent it into my insurance company and said it has never been approved. He wanted to finish my breast or what were supposed to look like breasts with the areola tattoo and nipple, I just cried and said nothing was going on these hideous things. Well it was turned down due to his coding, so after two months of serious depression I contacted MSU plastic surgery department and my surgeon coded what I was concerned about and it was approved and I thank God every day because after the surgery at MSU they sent in the e tra skin to be tested that was originally left and there was more cancer found. Please do your home work and I know first hand how scary it is to be told you have breast cancer, but take your time to digest it and talk to more surgeons and plastic surgeons. And most of all when they give you a photo album of plastic surgeons they have performed ask how many procedures it will take to get those results and how many will your insurance company pay for. Also I was told at the end that every body's results are different. But I wasn't told that when I had my first consultations . Thank God for MSU and just know you have a right to look at least normal after your implants are implanted and do not settle for less. God Bless You and I am so glad to be a Breast Cancer Survivor.
