I had a Breast reduction done back in 2009 and I still love them (My breast)! They have gotten way bigger but they still arent as big. I will always remember how satisfied I was with Dr. Luong! I was searching the Fairview database for her (to tell a friend) and decided to google breast reduction surgeon and she was the first to pop up I remember her immediately from the picture! Great work Cant even tell I had a surgery

Dr. Luong performed my top surgery late last year, and handled everything very efficiently and was able to get me scheduled for a surgery date much faster than any other surgeon in the Twin Cities. When I experienced a hematoma post-op, she was always willing to meet with me as soon as possible to help drain it, and I experienced no other complications. I'm extremely happy with the results, thank you!

The worst experience ever. I went into see Dr. Loung for a lump after rising my mammogram. She came back into the room where I was waiting and told me that I had cancer and would require radiation as well as chemo therapy. This news was rather shocking to say the least. I was very very upset and was crying. This is something I think is rather normal reactions, but obviously not for the this Doctor. She was very cold and said you need to call someone that can listen better, your just too upset to take in what Im saying...... REALLY no bed side manned at all..... Then after saying that she left the room. I called my Husband who left work to come and have her tell him the horrible news. I feel she could have been a lot nicer and considerate of my feelings. Would never recommend her ever.The worst Doctor is one who is not compassionate period.Not to mention she recommended I remove my nipple and at a stage zero and was told by another doctor they would have not taken that route. Now I have to deal with that tragedy of looking like a freak thanks a lot.......It was absolutely you I went to your office and you were my doctor. I will never forget you still upsets when I think about it. I should have kept my nipple. Think back 2006 it was you I saw you may not have preformed the surgery but I did have that experience in your office and recommendation based on your visit with me.

I was diagnosed with a low stage breast cancer. I always knew if and when i was given the diagnosis that i would have a bit lateral mastectomy. She supported my decision from the beginning. Without her support i may have double checked my decision. I went ahead with sx as planned and everything came out beautifully. I know i am very fortunate and had little or no pain. I'm very happy with my decision..

After losing weight and reaching the goal of my ideal size, I decided to reward myself with breast implants and have some liposuction done around my stomach area to remove any of the leftover fat I couldnt get rid of on my own. After surgery I was very pleased with the results. A couple months later I realized when Id lay down one of my breasts would move toward my armpit while the other stayed in its place. I went to see Dr. Luong and was told my implant had drifted. Basically the pocket made for the implant didnt hold. Its not terribly uncommon, however very disappointing to hear. I also pointed out the indent left just above my belly button. This I learned was from taking too much [fat] out in this particular area. I was told she would perform the surgery at no cost, with exception of the hospital and anesthesiologists costs. So I scheduled the surgery even though I was very angry and displeased. Shortly after scheduling the appointment I cancelled. I felt like if I had been displeased a second time by the same person, shame on me. So I reached out to another surgeon, a referral from a family member. A plan was put in place and surgery was scheduled, just over a year from my initial procedure. He ended up taking fat from my thigh to inject into the indent on my stomach, then tightened both of the pockets for my implants. I was astounded by level of post surgery instructions/limitations given to me the second time-things I was never told to do/avoid the first time. I am fairly certain if I was given explicit limited instructions and guidelines the first time, this never would have happened. I could go on and on, but I just wanted to get my point across and make others aware.

Dr. Luong was very kind and professional throughout the whole process. It really did go by pretty fast. However, I wish I didn't have the breast reduction procedure. Please try to lose weight before considering breast reduction. All my life I blamed my large breasts for back pains and all sorts of other pains, but really I was just fat. I have lost some weight and is now realizing that I'm more insecure than ever, as my chest decreased in size because of the weight loss. Although I'm thankful that Dr. Luong didn't remove more than she had, I would not have done it if given a second chance.

Dr. Luong and her team are quite simply the best. This fall I had a breast reduction and an abdominoplasty. I had struggled with back pain due to breast size for years and, following the birth of my last child, had severe abdominal muscle separation that required a medical solution. Dr. Luong gave me confidence in her surgical approach to both of these issues. Her attention to detail in her work is what every patient hopes for and she genuinely cares about her patients, as well as any questions or concerns they may have. Her results are amazing and I cant recommend her highly enough.

Went for a consult today and I don't know if she was overbooked or what was going on. I felt rushed and frown down upon. Went for a medical condition I'm suffering from and felt worse when I left than when I went in. Maybe me having low end insurance was the reason. I didn't meet the financial expectations.
