I want to acknowledge Dr. Reid for the excellent job he did on my knee replacement. I highly recommend him for anyone needing to go through knee replacement. You can trust his skills will cure whatever your ailment is. I was able to walk without assistance within the same week. 20 days later I am feeling amazing. Only place I have to go to Taos when the family breaks something. Just FYI for your follow-up appointment you may be waiting an hour like me before you see your Dr. I was told you get seen in order by who turns in their paperwork first. So if you have anything wrong with your legs fill your paperwork out at the desk and don't move until you have turned in all paperwork. Good luck getting to work!!

Good Dr.s but every single time I go in for an appointment its over an hour wait from appointment time to get seen. If its going to take an hour to get seen just make the appointment an hour latter. Usually just seen for less then 5 mins and nothing can get done without seeing DR. Surgery turned out well and everyone is nice enough just horrible scheduling!

I had a full knee replacement in October 2016. I came here from Albuquerque because Dr. Sean Marvil of Taos Orthopedic Institute uses innovative surgical techniques and custom made prosthesis. They are created for each patient individually. I have full flexibility now with my new knee. I am grateful to Dr. Marvil. These doctors are the official doctors of the US Olympic Ski Team. My experience has been excellent!

I'm a 78 year old female from Las Vegas New Mexico I have had two shoulder surgeries with in five years I thank our father in Heaven, his son our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit that they took good care of me and healed me. I'm really GRATEFUL for Dr. Dan Guttmann and his staff they were and are a GREAT bunch (TEAM). THANK YOU DOC. I like to thank and send my blessings to the Taos Orthopaedic Institute . P.S. I have had extensive surgery to both my shoulder. I interviewed multiple surgeons and did extensive research before finding Dr. Dan Guttman and Taos Orthopedic. My initial consultation was far more extensive than my experience with other surgeons I met with. The prognosis wasn't good but, was accurate. I under went extensive surgery during my first procedure and my rehabilitation was comprehensive and lengthy. I had a complete recovery and three -3 years later my shoulder has been stable with full strength and stability. Dr. Guttmann and his team exceeded my expectations. I would unequivocally recommend Dr. Guttman and Taos Orthopedic!

Doctors are great but the nurse we had today was absolute worst. Enough to make us look for another place in Santa Fe. Her attitude and her rudeness was ridiculous.
