Dr. Ruotolo is an absolutely amazing doctor! This was my first ever major surgery ever, so I was definitely nervous initially. However, Dr. Ruotolo and her staff were extremely reassuring and beyond kind! She explained the procedure in great detail and was welcome to take any questions about what was to be done. When the day finally came, Dr. Ruotolo and staff were all ready and really helped to ease my nerves. The surgery had wonderful results, I healed in a few weeks, and was so happy that I had the surgery done at LIPSG. Everyone there is so welcoming. And thats exactly what she did. From making sure he got the surgery when it was convenient for us, to explaining the details of his surgery over and over to ease our minds, to telling us the absolute truth and assuring us that no matter what the outcome we would work together and she would be right along side us. Dr. Ruotolo is amazing. She was incredibly compassionate when we found ourselves in her office mere hours after learning our daughter would be born with a cleft lip/palate. She is patient and takes the time to explain things to use (often repeatedly), and has a wonderful way of putting children at ease. In addition to all of this, her work is incredible. We also find her support staff (from nurses to billing) kind and so easy to work with.

All my life I had one funky ear that stuck straight out- it bothered me as a child of course because children can be unkind but as an adult I wasn't much concerned until a couple of years ago when the cartilage became stiffer. I couldn't sleep on it comfortably. So at age 56, Dr. Ruotolo performed an otoplasty and now I have 2 perfect ears. She is an amazing surgeon, and I couldn't be more pleased!

Dr Ruotolo is incredible! Just a little back story , we were told when our daughter was born that she may have a super rare genetic disorder. As parents we were terrified. She had a couple of physical deformities due to the disorder. We were told by several people to go see Dr. Ruotolo because she is hands down the best at what she does. Aside from her intelligence and motivation to be the best for her patients, she was always incredibly calm, kind, and loving. Our son was born with a complicated Caf au Lait (Dark Brown) birthmark on his neck. We knew it had to come off one day. At the age of 17 our son decided it had to come off. We searched through many options and realized that surgery was the only way. After an extensive search we decided Dr. Rachel Ruotolo was doing the surgery.She is an amazing board certified plastic surgeon that is passionate about her work. I have worked in the medical field for over 30 years and know what to look for while choosing a physician. It turned out she was the perfect match. Her PAs and office assistants also go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Make a consult appointment to meet her and you will agree!

Dr. Ruotolo performed a rhinoplasty surgery on me and I must say, I am so happy with the results. She finessed my deviated septum, hump on the bridge of my nose, and slightly lifted the tip, giving me the perfect side profile. It's been about 4 months since my surgery and the healing process is going very well. After talking to multiple surgeons, I'm so glad I went to her for this big procedure. She assured me that there is nothing to worry about, answered all my questions, and her staff followed up on me a couple of time after the surgery to make sure everything was going well. We had originally planned to have the surgery done in Philadelphia, but had moved to Long Island for a job change. Dr. Ruotolo was recommended to us by another doctor in Garden City. One year ago my daughter (16 months old) was severely bitten in the face by our family dog. She needed emergency reconstructive surgery. We were sent to the hospital that I currently work in as a trauma nurse. I wanted the best for my daughter and asked the surgeons that I work with who they recommend for facial reconstruction. Dr. Ruotolo was highly recommended and we were set up to be transferred for surgery. We transferred to Cohens Childrens Hospital where Dr. Ruotolo and her team were there to meet us. As a nurse for 14 years I was petrified this was my own daughter and her face was severely injuried. With the injury being severe we were uncertain if she would need more than one surgery. When the surgery was over Dr. Ruotolo came out smiling. She said she is going to be ok, I do not think she will need any more surgeries. As a mother I was relieved I dont want to see my daughter go through pain I dont want her to grow up to be disfigured. My daughter healed perfectly. You cannot tell that she was even missing part of her face. I am beyond grateful for Dr Ruotolo. She is an outstanding surgeon, compassionate, and extremely professional . Every single person that saw my daughter the day of the accident and compares her now is just shocked. Every surgeon I encountered, every pediatrician, every family member, they cannot believe how perfect her face looks. Thank you Dr Ruotolo.
