Dr. Law is a world class surgeon, no doubt. Answered all of my questions from start until now, he makes me feel very confident in what he says. Hes extremely knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner which made such a big difference. My nurses Melissa and Felicia were AMAZING as well as the anesthesiologist and his assistant although I cant remember their names. They were so comforting and took great care of me. Also Clinical Director Tracy Barlow fnp-c is so friendly and so quick to respond to me when I have questions . Overall the perfect team and I confidently feel I couldnt have chosen a better place for me!

Review: Michael Law MD: I have to say from the start, Dr. Law and his staff are very welcoming, courteous, and professional. Dr. Law is an artist and truly has your best interest at heart. He will give you an honest, realistic assessment. When you visit his office for the first time, and you meet Dr. Law, these qualities will be obvious. You can understand why he has stellar reviews. I was in my early 50s, I have my own business and Im constantly meeting new people. I didnt want to come across tired or worn down, most of that was in my eyes. If your eyes look tired, you look tired, thats just the way it is. Instead of investing in another car, I decided to invest in me. A new car is just a liability that depreciates within 10 years. The person on the other hand, you are youre greatest asset. Thanks to Dr. Law, I see a return on my investment every morning, when I look in the mirror and I dont look tired, I look like a younger version, he reset my age 10 maybe 15 years. Its worth every penny. High skill level, excellent operations team, his cost is more than fair. With Dr Laws services, a descent diet and some exercise, you dont have to look like you grandfather. I had breast implant surgery with Dr. Law 3 months ago and I could not be happier with the results! He did a phenomenal job, as they look enhanced and yet completely natural. Dr. Law's expertise and training exceeds those of other surgeons in the area. I am a nurse and would not recommend going elsewhere. I have a very low tolerance to pain. I took one tablet of narcotic pain medication after the procedure. At my request, we changed to a lesser medication and then I only needed one dose! The other issue I've always had is with nausea and vomiting after anesthesia. I had Zero post-op nausea or vomiting! Dr. Law and Tracy are always accessible to answer any questions. They make you feel completely comfortable throughout the entire experience. I would definitely recommend and if I could give ten stars, I would.

I am ecstatic over my entire experience with Dr. Law and his staff! After more than 30 years of feeling not quite whole, I finally feel like the me I was always supposed to be. As a teen, I wore a brace for scoliosis. It inhibited my development. After I had spine surgery a few years ago, I thought it might be time to have breast augmentation. I considered it similar to patients having gastric bypass and then needing skin removal surgery. It was like the second part of my spine correction. I researched surgeons for quite some time. My most important criteria was a natural look. I am very petite and didn't want people to say, 'She had plastic surgery.' During my first appointment with Dr. Law, I knew that I had chosen the right doctor. His demeanor and his approach to size were exactly what I had hoped for. I made my surgery appointment that day! I visited Dr. Schmidt last week for a nonsurgical nose job procedure (nonsurgical rhinoplasty). I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I had a slight dorsal hump that made my nose look disproportionate to my face. I had never been confident in my profile, but now I can proudly say I am not shy to be seen from any side! It may have been a minor procedure, but it gave me the confidence that I had been longing for. Dr. Schmidt made sure it was just how I wanted, as well as a good fit for my face shape. I think it is very important that the surgeon performing the procedure not only listens to your concerns, but also tells you what they think is best. I really appreciated Dr. Schmidt's input and expert eye. Dr. Schmidt did an excellent job, and I highly recommend visiting her if you are interested in having a nonsurgical rhinoplasty!

I don't usually post recommendations but I felt it was necessary to let everyone know about our wonderful experience with a new plastic surgeon in town. Her name is Dr. Alexandra Schmidt and she is with Blue Water Plastic Surgery Partners. My husband desperately needed an upper bleph (eye lid lift). His upper eye lids had so much skin that it was resting on his lash line. This was beginning to impair his vision so he decided to do something about it. He met with Dr. Schmidt for a consult and he was so glad that he did. She immediately put him at ease while explaining the procedure. She was warm and very personable. (I had already done some research on her and knew her credentials were outstanding so that made me feel good as well). She said that he would be a great candidate for this type of surgery and he should see an amazing result. He scheduled the surgery for the following week. It took less than an hour and was done under local anesthesia right there in their fantastic state of the art surgical wing. He is now 2 days post- op and is already back to work (from home). He couldn't believe how easy the whole process was. He is extremely glad that he made the call and had Dr. Schmidt and Blue Water Plastic Surgery Partners do the surgery. They took great care of him!Dr. Schmidt did it again! After completing a very successful upper bleph on my husband she and her surgical team performed the same surgery on me. I had been talking about getting this procedure done for quite some time. I cant believe I waited this long. It was surprising how quick and easy the whole process was. I am usually pretty nervous about getting things like this done, but from the moment I met with Dr. Schmidt she made me feel like I was her only patient. I never felt rushed or like I was taking too much of her time. She listened and answered every one of my many questions even though I had already been through the process with my husband. I am now on day three and feel amazing. I was never in any pain at all. She performed the procedure under local anesthesia with a small cocktail of meds that just took the edge off. The whole surgery took less than an hour and a half from pre-op to post-op. Totally amazing! I would highly recommend Dr. Schmidt and her outstanding surgical team for any procedure.

2 weeks post op, and I can say with the utmost certainty that I made the best decision of my life! After having my son, I went from a full B to triple D. I toyed with a breast reduction, but was nervous of the unknowns, not only with the procedure, but also the surgeon and surgical staff. I was referred to Dr. Michael Law and the Blue Water Spa from a friend of a friend. I researched, and then made a consultation. Immediately I felt comfort in my decision. The staff was uber professional, informative, nurturing. Dr. Law made me feel comfortable upon meeting and secure in the decisions and questions I was asking. He was extremely thorough and detailed on his plan for a successful surgery and outcome to meet my expectations. Day of surgery, a little nervous but still confident in my decision - anxious and excited. I was brought in, immediately had the staff around me getting ready for surgery, but attentive, going over what would be happening and making sure if I had any questions, to ask. The entire surgical staff introduced themselves and their roles. Also met with Dr. Law to do final drawings and ask any questions before we began. Felt a peace, at ease - almost tranquil. When I woke from surgery, I felt comfortable. no pain, little pressure. Happy, excited and could carry on a good conversation (I'm sure I was loopy, but didn't feel lethargic or doped up). Dr. Law came to check on me, and gave me the okay to go home. the following day pain was minimal, needed no narcotics and I do not have a high threshold for pain. Tylenol for a couple days after the procedure. Dr. Laws surgical standards and processes make it a very comfortable, manageable healing process. I couldn't be happier with the overall experience, from the amazing officer personal, nursing and surgical staff and I will forever be a huge advocate and fan of Michael Law, MD. I will be back for any future procedures! Simply the Best!

Im writing this review three months after my surgery, since I am now better able to provide a more complete opinion and to describe the entire process. I decided to go with Dr. Law even though I live on the other side of the country. Even as I was on my way to North Carolina, I was still asking myself why I was traveling so far for breast augmentation surgery with California, Las Vegas, or even Texas right next door. Well, Im very happy now and I think it was the best decision I could make. Dr. Law is an excellent surgeon and I consider him an artist. He made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process and patiently addressed all of my questions and concerns. Dr. Law has a very positive attitude and emanates self-confidence without a hint of arrogance. Prior to the surgery, I was very impressed by his attention to detail as he took very precise measurements of my breasts, nipples, rib cage and whole body structure.Now a little bit about the actual surgery. His medical staff is very professional and courteous. They took care of me every single minute without ever seeming to be paying attention to the clock. Once I was done with surgery I was expecting pain, but it never came. I even said to myself, 'Be prepared to deal with a lot of pain tomorrow.' Well, three days passed... a week passed... and nothing! Ive been in more pain after a teeth cleaning. I basically felt like I had completed a 100 push-up challenge and I was just sore from exercising. Im still in awe. After the surgery, Doctor Law and his nurses checked on me at night, the next day, and three days later. Once I was back at home, I had a number of phone consultations and follow ups. All I can say to Dr. Law and his staff is thank you so much for taking such good care of me and for giving me the natural, beautiful look that I traveled across the country for! If youre looking for natural-looking results, no pain, and a friendly doctor with a kind and caring staff, I would highly recommend Dr. Law. My only regret is that I don't live closer to his practice!

At 59 years old finally got my breast reduction....only with Dr. Law. I would never trust my first ever surgery with an in-network surgeon that does not have the record of success that Dr. Law has earned. Four weeks post-op, simply amazing. Virtually no pain, incisions look amazingly good, nipples look perfect already, even/symmetric and can't believe this early outcome. Dr. Law is worth the distance and investment in yourself but wait as long as I did!

I have had positive interactions, procedures as well as surgeries at Blue Water. I am a regular now with skin care. Update: After my tummy tuck I was left with a bump that is at least an inch wide and runs along the entire incision. It shows through pants & dresses. A swimwear stylist struggled to cover it up and said it was the oddest thing shes ever seen post surgery. Basically the lipo wasnt completed at that area. I met with Dr. Law who stated he could go back in but I declined given that the operating room itself is about $5k not counting his fees. I also have facial damage under my eyes and on my nose from micro-needling. No numbing is used at this spa unless you get a prescription and it is a white cream that you must put on yourself. I had lip injections there with no numbing and I felt like a fish on a hook. Ive learned that this isnt a standard and have had relaxing pain free experiences since going elsewhere.

Let me begin by stating that a very close friend of mine highly recommended Dr. Michael Law.Unfortunately, my over the phone experience was far from perfect. The receptionist who took my phone call was not friendly at all. In fact, she cut my conversation short and showed no professional background in the cosmetic/plastic surgery field. Instead of answering a couple of my questions, she chose to schedule an 'over the phone consultation' the very next day with another staff member. (1st red flag). I waited 2 days and NEVER received my 'over the phone consultation.' I'm still waiting for an excuse as I gave them my phone number and email address. It is truly disappointing when a 'receptionist' believes to be smarter than the person on the other end. (Trust me, I wouldn't be calling had I not done my research). Thankfully, I was able to find an amazing double board certified surgeon who has already addressed my problem.

I was very apprehensive about the consult with Dr. Law, but felt much better after having a thorough discussion of the plan of care. I liked his staff...friendly, genuine, and kind. If the staff is happy, it says a lot about the surgeon. His approach to a natural look is exactly what I was looking for. In addition, the spa does many 'good works' by supporting charities....nice! All of my questions were answered and I didn't feel rushed or pushed into making a decision. He started by asking me what changes I would like to see and then gave me options to make this happen. He was honest about the recovery time and what to expect in the weeks following the surgery.I saw Dr. Law one month post op. The surgery went just as he explained. His facelift surgery is geared towards a natural look and he did exactly that. He has amazing attention to detail. Dr. Law and the staff have followed me closely postop and have been so kind, gentle and attentive. I am a retired nurse so have more of a critical eye when it comes to health care. The level of privacy and sensitivity they've demonstrated has been exceptional. Still recovering but I am thrilled with the results. My girlfriend said I look at least ten years younger. She was against me having the surgery as she's seen some unnatural facelifts, but now is thinking of having 'something' done.

This review is about the staff only because that's as far as I got before I knew that this was not the place for me to go. I called to set up a consultation for breast augmentation. The girl let me know that I would need to speak with their consultantion rep. Fine. The girl set me up, with what I thought was an appointment to come in and speak with someone because I asked her SPECIFICALLY is there any paperwork that I need to fill out before I COME IN to the appointment. She told me no there's nothing to fill out. Day of the appointment, I called to get directions letting them know that I have an appointment at 3:30 and the receptionist says I don't see your name... Oh wait, you have a PHONE consultation at 3:30. Are you kidding me. This was not made clear to me when I set up this appointment. You would think the girl would've picked up on that after I asked if I needed to fill out paperwork before I CAME IN. Fine, I wait for the phone call. 3:30. No call. 3:49, no call. So I called them letting them know that I took this time out of my busy work schedule to leave work to come to what I thought was an appointment and is now a phone call that I still have not received yet. I received a call from them at 4:16. 46mins passed my tentative phone consultation. The communication there is terrible and the customer service is poor. Lucky for me, I got in with another MD office with a better rapport.

I am a huge fan of BWS. I just had my first laser hair removal treatment this past weekend and it was very quick and professional. I am already seeing some results! The staff was very nice and accommodating; all while making me feel comfortable and safe about the procedure. The pain from the procedure is minimal--so to be honest, you will feel it, but it is nothing you can't handle (even if you have a low pain tolerance) and the girl I had was so comforting and worked with me and my level of discomfort. This facility is top notch. Dr. Law and dr. Schmidt are both meticulous and detail oriented. I had everybody's attention on surgery day because I was the only patient for the anesthesiologist, surgery staff, and plastic surgeon. There's a private entrance and exit, nice pre and post op room, and my caretaker backed up the car just feet from the post op exit door. If Four Seasons had a surgery center, it would be this.I was extremely confident with my decision to come here based on their reputation, their credentials, and the staff. I've even had friends come and get surgery with Dr. Schmidt. Everybody just raves about her and Doctor Law. I'm so happy that I came here.

I cannot say enough about Blue Water's unconventional process. I really thought it was odd at first to have a phone consultation prior to seeing the Dr. but When I followed through with the process, it became abundantly clear as to why. I had done my research prior to calling but still learned so much about their specific procedures and how my expectations where actually worse than the result and process that was recommended. Several years ago I had a breast augmentation done in Washington State and I almost died due to a hemorrhage that was so bad it popped all my stitched and I was rushed in (unconscious) and and IV was placed in my neck because they couldnt get it into my arm fast enough. Dr. Law's office doesn't rush and makes sure you are truly educated in THEIR procedures, not just what you've read on the internet and rushing into something.
