Absolutely excellent place to go for any sort of skin work. I had a scar on my leg revised, and though it will never be quite the same again, its about as good as it can possibly be. They improved it about 95%. They have very professional staff. Doctor Stoeckel is very friendly and very knowledgeable. I don't normally think about writing reviews but I wanted to write about the amazing customer service I received a few weeks ago when just going in for a consultation. I'm 27 and have had crepey/fine lines under my eyes for as long as I can remember. I scheduled an appt. for a consultation thinking I would need tear trough filler but after speaking to Emily, she explained to me that that may not be my best option. She was so great in explaining what would work best for me and even went as far as bringing in Dr. Purzycki to get his opinion as well as Christy who handles micro needling. After seeing everyone and being given a few different perspectives, I decided that micro-needling would probably be the best option for me. Christy and Emily were both great at explaining the procedure and boosting my confidence as to why the are looks the way it does and that it's a simple matter of the way the muscle is formed around the eye and the loss of collagen. I'm so grateful that everyone took the time to try and actually figure out my problem area and find the best option to help me improve it. Not just the them, but everyone at the front desk was nice as well and the facility is gorgeous - I think I probably commented on it too many times while I was there haha. This review is being written before I have even had the micro-needling procedure done but now that I have scheduled an appt. I'll definitely be sure to update my experience next month. Also, let me just say that I went to another med-spa in the Raleigh area that is apparently very popular and their customer service was terrible. The nurse I spoke with wanted me to get botox and wouldn't let it go that that was the best option for me no matter what I said. She even suggested that I could get the procedure done right then - at my very first consultation - basically with no time to think about it. Please, no matter who you are, don't ever do that.. The people at the front desk never made eye contact with me as I was leaving the appt. which I just found to be unprofessional and rude. That's when I knew I was absolutely getting a second opinion. I could not be happier that I did. I have no doubt that the second time going to Wake Plastic will be just as nice as it was the first time.

First of all, Dr. Stoeckel is an amazing Plastic Surgeon and he went above and beyond what I asked for when I went for my consultation. At my consultation he was very honest with me and told me that i wouldn't look like a size 2 barbie. I'm not thin to begin with. I was 172lbs and 5'2 when I went in and I had lost 50lbs over a period of 5 years leaving me with loose skin. I had a plan to lose at least 10 more pounds before surgery and he was completely honest that he could get me to looking a certain way, just not unrealistic or unreasonable. I found that acceptable since the previous Plastic Surgeon I had seen had wanted me to lose almost 60 more pounds and be between 102lbs and 125...that's unrealistic. We left that day with a goal and I found him to be a kind but reserved physician. His office staff is amazing and experienced...I run a Practice and I know good customer service and Janelle was exemplary. She went over everything with us and the cost - I was ready to get my ducks in a row. I went home and got everything rolling and then had it scheduled. The surgery came and everything and everyone made me feel comfortable except the one doing the surgery!! Don't get me wrong Dr. Stoeckel is a great surgeon and he's an artist in his own right, but making a patient feel comfortable he does not do!! The morning of surgery there I am in front of him in all my naked glory and he is totally quiet. Now granted, maybe it's because he's in the zone and drawing his lines but the key is to make the patient feel at ease and he missed the mark. I made a joke and he totally missed the point...which was to put my nerves at ease. I would say that he's just very work oriented and that's that. The surgery went well and the recovery has been a difficult one. For starters, Dr. Stoeckel is excellent with a knife and he did such a great job that he could really have the personality of Quasimodo and it wouldn't matter because in the end - he went above and beyond what I asked him to do. I asked him to take off the stomach I had hanging and do liposuction on my upper and lower back and he went and did wayyy more than that. He took off 11lbs of skin and 5600ml of fat. He took some fat from my hips, butt and extended the tummy tuck all the way to the back of my hip to make everything even and it looks so good. With that though came a lot of swelling, pain and stitches. Those that say you'll be fine after 2 weeks and doing normal activities - they are so wrong!! I am on week 5 and I am just now starting to feel halfway normal and by that I mean wash my hair and shower by myself. Maybe it's my age because I was in pretty good shape before this. I wasn't warned that I would be depressed and cry because I couldn't get up on my own...although I had an amazing surgeon, I didn't have an amazing provider who told me what I would feel after the surgery or the signs to look out for. My first week follow up consisted of changing my tape and telling me how to change it myself, telling me the swelling was normal and when I asked for a refill of pain pills because he had only given #30 - I felt like an addict. The visit lasted 7 minutes after driving for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Two of those minutes were of me trying to get up off the table. So although he is a brilliant surgeon, his bedside manner is sorely lacking or maybe my expectations are extremely high because I run a practice and I know what I expect of people. Otherwise, his staff makes up for what is lacking in his office visit. They are always pleasant and very welcoming.

First I'm thankful to God for Doctor Purzycki and his Blessing hands. I had liposuction on my hands and chin and it's been a month. I love the results I even lost weight went on a diet. I'm thankful to all his staff they were so friendly loving n kind. Mis Janice was so comprehendible. Dr. Purzycki was always paying attention on what we discuss he takes great care of the patients. I will recommend Dr. Purzycki thank you Doctor. I will b going back to take results pictures. Oh n till this day my arms are still getting smaller swollen is gone only 5 day painful . I'll b a month tomorrow. So Excited n feel more confident I can use size small shirts know.

Leave it for 1 star only based on their billing system and front desk. Usually, when I visit each docs office, the first thing the front desk will ask is the insurance information. This place has the most unprofessional front desk. They did not ask me anything when I checked in, but the fact is that I updated my insurance since this March. And when I came and visited this February, my old insurance was stopped and I paid by myself during that visit. So they had that information. But for the most recent visit, they did not even asked if I have a new insurance or I need to pay by myself again... so later on the claim went to their biller and they charged me $118 because the doctor is out of my current insurance net work, which actually is even more expensive than I did the self pay($78) back in February. During the whole process, no body told me anything and asked me anything about my insurance until I called them this morning and found this through my claims. The lady said because the biller they worked with is in Durham and the biller never notice the office if theres something wrong/some updates about the patientss insurance, which does not make any sense to me at all.

From my initial consultation to three months later with a follow up and everything in between. My body is better than what I hoped for and this was just a wonderful journey with Wake Plastic Surgery. Dr. Stoeckel is a wonderful plastic surgeon. I am a nurse and I have personally worked in the OR with many surgeons. When I decided to have my breast augmentation revised, I was very selective about the physician I chose. Like everyone, I wanted someone that was highly skilled and that would treat me with respect and have sincere devotion to doing their best work. That is exactly what I found in Dr. Stoeckel. I had my first breast augmentation by Dr. Stoeckle in December 2017. I did not get the results I was wanted on the first surgery.I gave my body time for them to drop and heal so I could form an opinion on them. I still did not like them. I expressed my concerns that I wasnt happy. He wanted to do a breast revision. We discussed pricing and I agreed. I wanted preferably high profile 600 to 650cc. To make a long story short, he was able to fit 650 but said it was too tight when closing the incision so he went with 600 moderate plus profile not high. We discussed the pros and cons of moderate plus and high profile with different body types. I was kind of on the fence about going with moderate plus again but I was hoping with them being bigger they would have more projection. Overall, Im definitely a lot happier with the ones that I have now. But Im not a absolutely Im love with them. The first couple of weeks I was absolutely crazy about them and so happy!!After allowing them time to heal and theyre fully dropped now, they still are not as full as I wished they would be. Im currently sitting at a D cup and really was hoping to be a DD-DDD. Also, my right breast is slightly lower than my left breast. I can notice it and it bothers me. My left breast is my favorite one. Overall, Im glad that I went in for the revision but I still did not get the results I had hoped for.Next surgery, I would definitely go high profile and go even bigger. Other than that. I thought Dr.stoeckel was great. Hes really nice, and wants to make sure that the patient is happy.

Since I was a teenager I dreamed of getting a breast reduction. I was in pain constantly, struggled to find clothing that fit, and just felt out of proportion. My self esteem suffered greatly, as well. In 2017, before my 41st birthday, I finally decided to give myself a life changing gift. I scoured the web for plastic surgeons all over NC and SC for one who wasn't only a surgeon, but also an artist. Many post before and after pictures, which is so helpful in finding the doctor who creates the certain style breast contour that you like (compare different surgeons work and you'll see what I'm talking about). The reduction technique that he mostly uses only leaves a lollipop shaped scar instead of an anchor and helps give a lift that other techniques don't, which is beyond wonderful.Not only does Dr. Stoeckel do amazing work, but his team is outstanding. At first my reduction was declined by my health insurance, so Janell worked to contact BCBS and set up an appointment with them to talk to the doctor to push for approval. It worked! The whole team there is wonderful, very professional, and friendly.My reduction was on 11/7/17. The surgery went beautifully and I am absolutely in love with my results. They look better than I thought was possible considering what I started with. The shape is gorgeous (I feel 25 years younger), nipple placement is perfect, scarring is minimal (use silicone tape to help this along), and my back pain and headaches are gone. To boot, I feel and look gorgeous! Dermal fillers to get rid of my under eye bags is next! Wake Plastic Surgery and Dr. Stoeckel have my business for life!

Words can not express how comfortable Dr.Stoeckel made me feel today during my consultation. Driving from Virginia Beach was well worth it. His bedside manners are awesome and he took his time to explain everything to my husband and I. Not only was Dr. Stoeckel great Janell the patient coordinator was great also. She also explained everything and made us feel comfortable. I am so looking forward to doing business with this doctor and his team.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Stoeckel at Wake Plastic Surgery! I could not be more satisfied.September 2017 will make one year since my breast reduction. I went from a 38 H to a 38 D/DD. I'm still not exactly sure because I'm still comfortable with my sports/stretchy bras. Dr. Stoeckel removed 4.5 pounds from each breast. (Yes, wow!) He did a fantastic job! I'm 100% more confident with my body !Dr. Stoeckel is AWESOME. Down right AWESOME. When I first met him at my initial consultation, I could feel that he was genuinely invested in helping me to achieve the look I desired and in addressing ANY and ALL my concerns. No question was a stupid question. I never had any type of surgery before, yet I was very comfortable and well prepared throughout the entire surgery process. The office staff, especially Janell, was exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and kind throughout the pre-op, surgery, and post-op experience. Every phone call and email I sent to Janell was answered in a timely manner. I called her for every concern I had after my surgery, and was extremely impressed with her patience! She's the BEST!

I had a breast reduction and from the first phone call, I felt like I was a priority not just to Dr. Stoeckel, but to everyone in the office. They were super quick to answer my calls and emails, and Dr. Stoeckel immediately put me at ease, despite the awkwardness I felt at needing surgery. What was huge for me was the fact that he was willing to work with my insurance, despite the fact that he makes less money that way. In the past year I've had three major body recontouring surgeries with Dr. Stoeckel and I cannot speak too highly of his surgical expertise and his kind, caring manner. All I can say is WOW! Everyone in this office from Dr. Stoeckel to his nurse, assistants, office staff, etc., are wonderful. I had a breast reduction along with a cyst removed from in front of my ear. I had seen an ENT doctor from Duke who had looked at my cyst several times and did xrays and cat scans and still was unsure about removing it...I felt like I had an earache all the time...ugh!!! Dr. Stoeckel did a great job with both procedures. I could not be happier with the outcome! Dr. Stoeckel is extremely easy to talk to, will answer all of your questions without making you feel rushed or silly or embarrassed. I LOVE THEM ALL and will go back for other procedures without hesitation! I would highly recommend this office!
