Visiting Scott Blumer was complete waste of time and unfortunately money. My son has had chronic left ear problems with being able to hear clearly since early childhood. Our prior pediatrician always took the time to drain fluid build-up, etc. We communicated all of this to Dr. Blumer. He did not comment at all. He proceeded to simply clean out my son's ears with a swab and that was it. We went to a specialist specifically for their more advanced equipment and scoping techniques to look further into one's ear canal. Our current pediatrician did not have these types of equipment and recommended a specialist. All told, he charged $243 to clean out my son's ears.

Took my husband to Dr. Blumer. Terrible, he didnt even take his time or truely look at his throat. Seemed like he was is a big rush. We were there maybe 20 mins and he said nothing was wrong and moved on. Felt like we were a bother to him rather than a customer in need. I wouldnt recommend.

My daughter had an appointment to have her tonsils evaluated recently. I was first told on the phone that he was no longer removing tonsils but he would still see her for an initial visit. Front office was very loud. We were taking to a room by a rude nurse that acted like she didnt have the time for us. The doctor examined my daughters tonsils and said they were not enlarged and more on the smaller size. He stated that having 3 infections didnt meet requirements to have them removed. He said to call the office back the next time she wasnt feeling well and he would see her. The whole visit was less than 8 minutes. He was not nice to me or my daughter. I ask where he did surgery and was told a surgery center. Which I would not feel comfortable having my child have a major surgery at a surgery center. We will not go back to this doctor or recommend him to anyone.

I don't know where to begin. This person and staff completely dismissed me as a patient. I had to have an emotional meltdown to get Dr. Blumer to order a standard CT scan of the sinus. There is a rather dangerous finding of a rare disease. Now I have a balance from my last visit, it includes my deductible so it's high, but I HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED A BILL and I have to satisfy at least half of that or I won't be seen to discuss this rare disease. I had every intention of paying my balance in full as SOON AS I RECEIVE A BILL. I'm being held hostage for a couple hundred dollars. I won't even tell you about his 'bed side manner'. I need medical intervention so I'm going to the appointment on Monday and I'll pay my full balance AND GET A DAMNED BILL. I'll get some kind of referral, my records and then I AM OUT.

I went to an appointment with my mother. Let me fist start by saying the amount of inappropriate content that was discussed at the front desk was horrible. Every other word was a cuss word. I also overheard, while filling out a ridiculous amount of new patient paperwork, that the doctor was not board certified and that was the reason he couldnt do surgery but at a surgery center in Belden. When my mom was forced to a room before finishing paper work, she was hurried onto a scale that she was not able to balance on and the nurse offered no help. The doctor spent a total of 30 seconds with my mom and offered 0 answers. I wouldnt refer this doctor to someone on death row.

Worst doctor Ive ever seen went to him when I was 16 because I kept getting strep throat and his bed sidemanner made me feel very uncomfortable. Had my tonsils taken out and 3 days later Im at home and bleed out because he didnt do his job right. Wrote a 1 sentence surgery report. The guy is sketchy stay away

I took my 5yr old son 2 him cause he snores when he's sleep n woke. Very loud breathing. He Dr. Blumer told me his tonsils was enlarged so he order a sleep study n my son has slept apnea, but he said his tonsils wasn't bad n he just wanted 2 watch him. I got a 2nd opinion cause a 5yr old shouldn't have sleep apnea. So seen an EN&T doctor at Arkon children hospital n my son was schedule for surgery. His tonsils was so big they was touching. He had surgery 2day n no more snoring n he's finally getting a peaceful night sleep. Dr. Blumer felt it was nothing 2 worry about even tho my 5yr old would stop breathing in his sleep. Lets just say I'm glad I got a 2nd opinion.

Let me start with my son did not cooperate at all when we went, my children were not behaved, it was awful. Now that aside, it's very upsetting to be told what you came here to have checked for 'isnt a thing' (after you've paid your copay mind you) when it is definitely a thing and its more alarming to then hear 'we could see him back in 6 months or a year'... obviously I took a hard pass. Not as surprised that their parking lot was empty when we arrived. I would not reccomend for anything.

Going to doctor blumer was the best decision I ever made. My name is Jasmine Dixon and Dr. Blumer has changed my life. I was miserable and depressed because I had totally lost my smell and taste and I had been suffering for 4 months, after seeing Dr. Blumer I can finally smell and taste again and life is finally back to normal. Wow...this guy! Extremely rude, brief, and no compassion what so ever! Tis a shame his staff nearly follows suite. Honestly, I wouldnt recommend his services to anyone. He only keeps patients flowing in and out because he is the only ENT in Stark County that accepts Caresource. If you don't mind being treated like a lower class citizen, have concerns unanswered, and have second rate work done...then by all means, go for it...
