Had a appointment at 915 for blood draw, and after waiting 45 minutes I left. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Appointment times do not matter to them. I will be finding a different place to go

About the only thing positive I could say about the office is John Watson. He is very straight forward and has a relaxed way about him. The office staff is unorganized, phone calls are never returned. I have to call multiple times to get a response and still get no answer. I have complained many times and the response I get back is I dont know what to tell you. I had to call multiple times to get a medication changed because of the side effects and called just to be told that the John had asked for me to come back in to change the medication over 10 days ago. No one called to let me know while I had to endure 10 more days of the side effect of the medication. Blood results never come back. I am still waiting on blood results taken over a month ago and yet no one knows where they are or what they were. Im so disappointed with the office. This is the only PCP close to where I live but I would rather drive 50 minutes to Tulsa to see a PCP because Im tired of the horrible service and no return phone calls. I also urge you to call when the office is closed. The outgoing message is a riot. They will probably call you back, but more than likely they won't.

Mr.Watson is awesome and the staff were nice ,4 stars due to wait but the comfort I felt there was worth it

I had a questionable lab results. They got me in the next day to address the issue. They were very professional and friendly. My wait time was much shorter than I expected. DR John was very courteous and fast. He sent in the referral for a specialist as well as meds to my pharmacy to help alleviate my symptoms until I get into the specialist. They are a wonderful team of caring health professionals.

Wow had an appt at 230 just got in 10 minutes ago at 345. Way to go guys. Not like we have plans at 430. I would not recommend this place at all!

My girlfriend is 33 weeks pregnant had to move last minute and has been waiting 3 1/2 weeks for a referral to see the OBGYN. Have not been able to reach them by phone during office hours highly dissatisfied with the services and the general attitude of the secretarial staff. We received a phone call to reschedule our appointments twice before we could even see the doctor. I recommend avoiding their services if at all possible.

My first visit to Axis Healthcare in Pryor was on June 27, 2016. I got there at 7:30 a.m. right as the office opened. Was first one in line. Staff did not look or sound caring. Receptionist said they were entering my new patient paperwork after 45 min of wait. Nurse saw me after 50 min wait and said doctor just got there. It was 8:25 a.m. Doctor greeted me with 'What's up, man!' and didn't introduce himself. Visit lasted 3 min. I was out the door at 8:33. Why does this office open at 7:30? Will not come back and do not recommend.

After making my appointment over a week in advance AND providing my insurance information over the phone, nothing was taken care of on arrival. We had to wait over 45 minutes just to be told that they finally called the insurance and had to pay out of pocket...so I paid and explained that it had been an hour and fifteen minutes since our appointment time passed and we would need to go soon. I was told it wouldn't be long. After another 30 minutes, we were still waiting. I asked, again , how long it would be and was told they were putting our info in the computer!!! Why did I bother giving any information in advance??? Then when I explained that I provided all of this information in advance so that I would have plenty of time with the practitioner, I was met with extreme rudeness. Customer service is non-existent. I will never go back.

Oklahoma is in the throes of a prescription drug epidemic. I know many people currently being prescribed pain medication for various claimed illnesses. Some on them probably need it -- others surely do not. Im concerned by addictions pervasiveness in my family. After spending two years in a drug and alcohol program my brother recently returned home. He promptly began searching for a doctor who would prescribe him narcotics. Now this isnt his first rodeo. He has been to rehab several times, and the ambulance has visited him more than once when he was comatose from taking too many pills. His medical records should have prescription drug abuse written all over them in red!In steps Axis Healthcare located in Pryor. Apparently, they do not check a patients medical history because without hesitation they start writing my brother prescriptions for valium and painkillers. Of course, he takes all the pills within two or three days, and is basically comatose until he runs out of pills. Now I am not saying he does not suffer from pain. However, if he takes all the pills in three days and remains without them for the next 25 to 27 days, why cant he remain without them the other three days. Just sayin.. I believe the only way to fight this type of problem is to initiate legal proceedings against the manufacturers of narcotics and the clinics who prescribe them unnecessarily. Given the notably increasing number of prescription drug-induced deaths across Oklahoma, the need for a legal investigation into their distribution has never been more crucial. If the clinics and/or drug companies are found guilty of any misconduct, the ramifications should be enormous, including lawsuits from bereaved families who lost loved ones because of irresponsible distribution of prescription drugs. Suing the clinics and drug manufacturers could be the critical first step in turning Oklahomas pill popping fortunes around.
