I was referred to this office by a friend, I met with Dr Jan for a consultation on a procedure on my forehead. Automatically I felt at ease, Dr Jan explained the procedure from start to finish. He answered all my questions. The day of the surgery, I was nervous but Dr Jan and his staff made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I would highly recommend Dr Jan for all your cosmetic surgery needs.

From the moment he walked in I knew there was something different about this man . He was calm and so pleasant, he looked directly at me when he spoke to me and put me at ease right away ! Little did I know what a magician he would be . I had a large unsightly thing called a horn on my face on top of a large flat brown mole type thing . When I woke up after surgery I was blown away all of it was GONE !! He was born to do this job , he's the nicest dr. I ever met . I will recommend him to anyone !!

Dr Jan did surgery on me for my nasal reconstruction in july and i just had my follow up today and i am absolutely impressed and amazed by the job he has done. no scars and no issues. i recommend him to anyone that wants/needs surgery from him. he is extremely calm, collective and very professional and very well trained. thank you very much for the best job ever!

I'm not an old man (yet), but the bags under my eyes had gotten to the point where my wife used to joke that I would have to check them in to get on a plane. I was lucky enough to go to Dr. Jan, who erased years of age from my face! He is kind, compassionate, and was understanding throughout the process. He was very up front about the level of pain I could expect and how long the healing process would take. His bed-side manner is second-to-none. (Tummy Tuck with muscle repair & lipo to flanks) I went about 15+ years not knowing that I had a condition called PCOS (with insulin resistance). Over the years I started noticing a large amount of belly fat accumulating in my abdomen, but not really anywhere else and no amount of exercise was helping it go away. Fast forward to being 32 and living with a large belly that weighed me down so badly that I suffered from back pain every single day of my life. My back pain was affecting my mental health, my self confidence, and my ability to care for my young child and left me almost in tears at the end of every day. I finally reached a breaking point and looked into having a panniculectomy done and saw my family doctor to see if I could get the ball rolling in hopes of getting insurance to cover it. After many physical therapy sessions I came to the realization that I may need more than just a panniculectomy and good luck trying to get insurance to cover anything that was going to make me happy with the way that my body looked! So, I started researching plastic surgeons in my area. I came across Dr. Jan's practice and I'm so glad I did!! I first met with Dr. Jan in April and he was extremely helpful, soft spoken, honest (but kind!) and not pushy at all. I felt very comfortable with him right away. One thing I noticed about Dr. Jan is that he answers all of my questions and does not rush me during office visits. I chose a surgery date in November. I had my pre-op and Dr. Jan explained how everything would go and what all he would do during my surgery. On the day of my surgery I was VERY nervous but Dr. Jan made me feel safe and taken care of. The hospital staff was incredibly kind and everything went very smooth. I chose to stay in the hospital for 2 nights because of limited help at home and I was worried about my pain management so I'm really glad that I did. My surgery was on a Friday and Dr. Jan came to check on me in the hospital Saturday and Sunday and I really appreciated that. Dr. Jan told me that I had a good bit of muscle separation and that he removed almost 20lbs of flesh and fat (from lipo) from my body! I couldn't believe it. My incision goes from hip to hip but it was done so neatly and perfect that I didn't even bleed. Dr. Jan is more than just a doctor. He is an artist and you can tell after talking to him that he loves what he does and that's exactly what you want in a surgeon. Even though I was in a decent amount of pain after my surgery I could immediately tell that I was much lighter on my feet and one month post op I am down 15lbs and I'm not experiencing the back pain that I once was. I can fit into t-shirts normally and I feel like I have the confidence to exist out in the world. I used to hide my body any time I got dressed. I had to find shirts that were long enough to hide my belly and I started to find myself panicking about my young daughter picking up on my body image issues and lack of self esteem. I feel like having this surgery has given me a 2nd chance at life and I cannot wait to be more active with my daughter once I am fully healed. I'm even looking into a kickboxing class in the future which is something I would've never done before. I can finally look forward to exercise instead of dreading it because of the pain I'd be in after lugging around all that extra weight on my body. Because of having this surgery I feel like when my daughter hits the stage of learning how to love herself and her body that I won't feel like a fraud because I can actually say that I love my body now. I was referred to Dr. Jan following a breast cancer diagnosis with mastectomy. I absolutely cannot express just how much I value that referral. From the very moment I met Dr. Jan I noticed a professionalism that went above and beyond any expectation. He has a penchant for perfection while being realistic with the outcomes. He always made sure I had all of the necessary information and while always offering his expert opinion on the process of my reconstruction he ultimately left every decision up to me. The professionalism that was shown at every single visit and surgical procedure during my nearly year-long process of mastectomy through reconstruction was extraordinary. I had previously gone through breast augmentation prior to my cancer diagnosis and I was not too happy with the results. Dr. Jan told me that I would probably actually prefer my results following the mastectomy and reconstruction. Honestly I didn't think that would be near possible; however, he was 100% correct. Life changing experience! Breast Augmentation with lift and liposuction of the flanks!I am a mother of two beautiful children, after nursing two kids I was in desperate need of a mommy makeover! After breast feeding, my breasts were left saggy and deflated. I wanted a breast augmentation to restore volume I had lost and a breast lift to restore the shape. I also had quite a lot of stubborn fat on my love handles which I desperately tried to lose with very diligent diet and exercise. I had a few consultations with surgeons but after meeting Dr. Jan, I knew he would be the right choice. He was very patient, kind and compassionate. He made me feel comfortable even though I thought I would be so nervous. He took his time to get an understanding of the type of result I desired. With his knowledge and expertise, we chose a moderate profile 350cc silicone implant and liposuction of the abdomen and flanks. I could not be happier with my results!! I look and feel better than I did before I had kids. I have the option to look conservative or accentuate my curves when I want, the liposuction results are better than I could have ever imagined to the point where I look like Ive had a tummy tuck. Im glad I did both. The procedure went very smoothly and I healed beautifully, Dr. Jan called to check up on me and was available if I had any questions, which put me at ease. This is by far the best decision I have ever made, I feel so confident and happy each morning and thank him for changing my life forever!

I didn't want to undergo a Mohs Procedure on my face. Instead, I opted for a second opinion from a highly recommended plastic surgeon -- Dr. Jan. I liked him and trusted him after my first consultation. He told me I would hardly notice the scar when the incision was fully healed, and we still have a few more weeks to go, and it has healed beautifully. I virtually had no pain at all following three procedure. Dr. Jan is very calm and confident, and when I called him after hours late one Friday night (because I accidentally scratched open my incision), he called me back within minutes. He was reassuring, and very happy with my progress at my final follow up. He told me if I need him, call him. I like his demeanor, and his accessibility. He is an excellent surgeon.
