I felt great the first time I walked into Dr. Claytor's office. It is so clean and beautiful I knew that I had selected a good practice. The first time I was about to meet Dr. Claytor I was nervous, thinking...doctors can be so impersonal. Well, I was wrong...Dr. Claytor is very down to earth and listened so well to my concerns and offered tremendous advice throughout the entire process. He is very knowledgeable and left me feeling comfortable and confident in my decision to proceed with my procedure. His entire staff is great as well, they were kind and helpful each step of the way. Fast forward to procedure day, I had mine done under local anesthesia in his office. Dr. Claytor and his team were phenomenal every step of the way. I felt safe and in good hands in their office OR. He explained to me what he was doing each step of the way to help make me feel comfortable. It was quick and painless, I went home and here I am 2 weeks out feeling great and very happy with my results!I would recommend Dr. Claytor and his team for many reasons but the quality that stood out the most to me would have to be the number of conversations that Dr. Claytor had with me HIMSELF. Not his nurses, himself. I think we spoke on the phone 5 times before my procedure and he called me many times right after my procedure to see how I was doing. You can't beat that. I felt like an important patient to Dr. Claytor even though I am sure he has tons of other things to do!Thank you Dr. Claytor and staff.

Dr. Claytor was on call the Friday night that our five year son gave himself a hole in the head on the corner of our stone-top coffee table. Upon arrival, Dr. Claytor showed superb professionalism, was calm, kind and patient with us as he described what he had to do to help our son. His rappport with our son was so great. He kept him calm the entire time with age appropriate conversation and humor. He worked so smoothly and was very respected by all the other hospital employees. His office is beautiful and the times weve had to visit him for follow ups have been so fun that all my kids want to go see him. I am so thankful that he was the one on call that dreadful night. I cannot day enough nice things about him.

I recently had a procedure done with Dr. Claytor and it was an amazing experience, and I would easily recommend him to anyone considering plastics! I had always had a double chin, regardless of my weight (thanks genetics!), and I finally decided to look for a surgeon who could help me with this area. I did a ton of research on procedures and doctors and eventually decided to do a consult with Dr. Claytor. My first contact was with Debbie, and she was super helpful with information and explained the process and value of the consult. I met with Dr. Claytor soon after that and he was positive and really helpful explaining to me what he felt was the best option for me. We ended up landing on 'smart lipo' with some regular liposuction and elevate. It was clear he knows what he's doing after we really discussed all the options you'll read about in research and all their pros and cons based on me and my specific problem (you won't get a one-size fits all experience with him, which is great and how it should be!).In the end, I had all of this done with local anesthetic with absolutely zero pain. He kept me informed of how well everything was going throughout while constantly checking on my pain levels and keeping me a little distracted with some conversation. My healing has been seamless and the final result is beyond amazing! My confidence is SO much higher now. I wish I would have done it sooner! At my follow up he was clearly really busy that day, but he didn't rush me at all and answered all my questions about my healing and talked with me about some other procedures I am considering and really listened to my concerns. I follow up with him again in a month and will also be talking to him about some other possible procedures, because at this point I completely trust him as a physician and artist. His staff was also all really friendly and helpful as well! Highly recommend!

I met Dr. Claytor at the Bryn Mawr ER. I requested a plastic surgeon for my 6 year old daughter who had a severe mouth & lip laceration (she fell on the step & hit her mouth on New Years Eve). He was on call & came in on NYE & totally saved the day! He gave her numbing medicine & expertly stitched her up. He kept calm & maintained an even-keeled bedside manner (she was, understandingly, terrified of getting stitches & very upset. Screaming, crying, etc.). Her lip is healing up beautifully. He just knew exactly how to blend the stitches to hide the scar as well as possible. The follow up was greathis office his beautiful & staff is courteous. We are very grateful!

A true artist! I'm 44yrs old & like many women have been struggling with signs of aging/sagging with my face. I was VERY nervous about having work done on my face. I did a lot research on docs/ procedures & ended up traveling from the NYC area to have my procedure with Dr. Claytor. The procedure consisted of a silhouette lift, chin liposuction & elevate thread. At 37, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My initial treatment in August 2017 consisted of a nipple-sparing bilateral mastectomy (from a Breast Surgeon) along with direct-to-implant reconstruction with a different Plastic Surgeon. I never meshed with that PS and felt super frustrated. Another breast cancer survivor/friend HIGHLY recommended Dr. Claytor for my revision surgery. BEST DECISION EVER! As soon as Dr. Claytor walked in the room during my initial consultation, I knew I was in the right place! He was kind-hearted & welcoming and genuinely listened to my concerns (something I never felt from my previous PS). His staff is also super friendly & made me feel comfortable whether in the office or on the phone. Prior to my revision surgery, I met with Dr. Claytor a few more times as he wanted to ensure we were on the same page with what I was envisioning for my reconstruction. I am one week post-op and I look & feel amazing! Dr. Claytor did a spectacular job and frankly I didnt expect my breasts to look so awesome again! Over the last ten years Ive had numerous basal and squamous cell skin cancers removed from various locations on my body. Most of those cancers were removed by Mohs surgery and the results were good. The last Mohs surgery was on my forehead and due to the large size of the incision and lack of skin on my forehead the wound was left open to heal. The wound healed three months later (with no complications). Fast forward two years and I was diagnosed with another basal cell on my head. Recalling my last experience with Mohs surgery on my head I was hesitant to commit to another three-month healing cycle. After speaking/complaining to a coworker about my dilemma I was referred to Doctor Claytor who came highly regarded. Shortly thereafter I met with Dr. Claytor who (as youve read in previous reviews) puts you at ease immediately. He then explained in detail how he removes these skin cancers and the healing process. I was confident this would be a different experience. During my first visit Dr. Claytor removed a small area of skin and sent it to be tested. Dr. Claytor called me a week later saying he had to remove a little more. We scheduled the second visit two months later. During that visit he removed a little more and sent it for testing. Those results were negative. Cancer free. Both procedures took less than 20 minutes and each incision healed in two weeks. I was right. A much different experience. Thank you Doctor Claytor!

My experience with Dr. Claytor was incredible. When I came into see him the first time I had a deflated breast implant and I was a mess as you can imagine.. My previous plastic surgeon was Dr. Noone but he had retired (Dr Noone always did spectacular AAA+++ work for me all 3/three times I used him in the past 25 years). I was afraid to use another plastic surgeon, one I didnt know, BUT I knew in my heart that Dr. Noone would not have sold his practice to anyone that was not just as gifted with skills and compassion for his patients. So Dr. Claytor & I spoke for quite a long time, we went over what I was looking for visually and my expectations and my fears. He explained the replacement implant process to me in understandable terms, he answered all my questions, even when I called in with more questions, he always got right back to me. Dr. Claytors staff are all extremely professional. The day of surgery, I did not have any fears; I knew I was in great hands. He met with me before I was wheeled into the surgery room to go over everything again and to answer any last minute questions I . may have. After the surgery I woke up and within a short time he was there again to greet me and tell me how the surgery went and to go over my recovery details. He stressed that because my surgery replacement breast implants) was more complicated than just putting in implants for the first time, that I should use ice and not be scared by how I looked the first two weeks because there is always swelling that may look weird but it all goes away soon enough. Within 2/two weeks I was absolutely ecstatic with the results of my surgery. I have the most amazing beautiful breasts and they are exactly what I was looking for, his work was magnificent (my husband agrees). I now call him the Breast Guru.I told him i would be willing to talk to anyone of his potential patients that may be considering surgery with him to tell them my experience and a;swer any questions they may have, I also told him he could share my pictures with these potential patients so they can see first hand what I looked like when I walked into his office prior to his surgery and what I look like now I now plan on having procedures on other areas of my body and face with Dr. Claytor because now I know how incredibly talented and skilled he really is. My experience overall was absolutely wonderful!! I had a breast reduction in May 2016 and I' m feeling great. After having a spinal fusion in 2013, I was reluctant to have more surgery. My breast were very large and caused back discomfort for me. Dr Claytor is such a wonderful doctor who truly cares about his patients. Dr Claytor explained everything to me about the procedure and he listened to my concerns. Dr. Claytor is a miracle worker!! I was the victim of an assault that basically left me with my ear in 2 pieces and almost destroyed. Dr. Claytor was called to the emergency department and very meticulously put my ear back together in one surgery. There was no need for any additional procedures. Very happy with my lower eyelid blepharoplasty. No more under eyebags, I am almost 50 and my eyes look better than they did in my twenties. I had surgery done under local anesthesia, I had no pain either during or after surgery. I intend to return to Dr. Claytor in a few years for a facelift. Dr.Claytor and Emily make the exam room feel like a safe place to just express everything that you don't like about yourself and want to change. Her compassion and love for patient care just radiates off her. You can tell she truly cares about people and nothing is force or 'fake/robot textbook bedside manner'. She's 100% real with you and she gives the best advice and information on things that you will need after the surgery. Ex: what products(gauze,scar cream, anti embolism socks, wedge pillows, shower chair etc) to buy and where to get the best prices. She like a human Pinterest. All the advice, hacks, and tips helped me so much! And she explained in details how 1-4 week post surgery would Play out and what to do and not to do during those weeks. Seriously she was dead on right. She's amazingly good at her job and you definitely tell she loves what she does. Dr.Claytor (Plastic Surgeon, perfectionist,a true artist, the kindest nicest human being you will ever meet, extraordinary Doctor)Seriously I could go on and on how extraordinary he is. The first time you meet him you are blown away by how kind and down to earth he is. In my mind, I had this image of PS being these swallow/cold doctors....like how the media portrays them. I have also read a lot of negative reviews online about PS behaving in this manner. I never expected him to be so...human. I did so much research on him and learned about all his accomplishments, awards, the fact that he is well know in the area as a hotshot awarded Top Doctor yearly, and that he was chosen by Dr. R. Barrett Noone (aka a living legend, a man who has been a highly credentialed surgeon) to carry on his legacy. You can literally google all of this...so yeah I was intimidated to say the least and really nervous to meet him. He for sure exceeded all my expectations. He took his time listening to me and understanding my needs. He did a full assessment,then he fully explained my options+what would work best for me. I had 2 appointments setup with other 2 PS in my area. After meeting Dr.Claytor and the whole experience with the his staff + seeing his work.. I canceled those appts. I am so glad I did. He was the best and right DR. for me. Even before I got my surgery, I recommend my sister for a breast augmentation. That's how much confidence I have in him. My sister had her surgery a week after I had mine. She is so pleased with her surgery. Her breast look so amazing and natural looking. My surgery was on Aug 1 and I was so scared. Dr.Claytor helped calm my nerves before going into the OR. The recovery was like I could have never imagined. I read so many crazy things about the pain level and the hard recovery etc. Dr.Claytor checked on me every single day, while I recovered in the hospital. He also called me to check in every night the first week while I was at home. I had my surgery at 6am, later at night around 7-8pm that same day Dr.Claytor left a dinner and showed up at the hospital to check up on me. The nurse had called him because I was puking a lot and had vertigo due to the anesthesia. I felt bad because when he showed up he was all dressed up. That's the kind of doctor and great person he is. He goes above and beyond to make sure his patients are ok. I am 4 weeks post op. The first 2 days where the hardest. I stopped painkillers on day 3 and switch to over the counter. I was moving around with just soreness in days 3-4. I have to say in 3 weeks I haven't felt pain or anything relating to complications from the surgery itself. I love my stomach and my breast implants are dropping into place.This is thanks to Dr.Claytor special techniques with the tummy tuck surgery.The way he tighten the muscles and the type of sutures he used and their placement. He explained that I would be up and walking around day 3-4. He was right...I wasn't sure because I read online that around week 3 is normally when people are up and walking + sleeping in their bed.I did all of this in day 4.

I would highly recommend Dr. Claytor. I recently had a significant breast reduction from a size J. Due to my breast size I had constant shoulder, back and neck pain. There were also some nerve related damage to two fingers on my left hand. I tried the injections, therapy and Meds but nothing was working. I am not a typical patient due to some clotting issues and have been turned down by other surgeons. Dr. Claytor took the time to consolidate with my other doctors, kept me assured and relaxed during my clearances and delivered AMAZING RESULTS!!. Immediately following my surgery I noticed my shoulder pain was gone!!!! My surgery went smoothly and my new breasts have far exceeded my expectations. I am still healing and will probably end up at a Full C or average D cup but they are so beautiful. One of the best physical and mental decisions of my life. Dr. Claytors staff is professional, friendly and accommodating. He is a professional, a gentleman and a true blessing. Reducing my pain level was my 1st priority but I would be lying if I did not say my confidence has gone through the roof. I love how my clothes fit; how I feel physically and the freedom from that pain. There are no real words to express my gratitude to Dr. Claytor.

I contacted the Claytor/Noone Institute in late August 2015 regarding an open wound on a skin graft site on my lower left leg and my fear of a possible recurrence of osteomyelitis. Dr. Noone and his partner Dr. J. Brien Murphy had performed extensive reconstructive surgeries on my lower left leg in 1982 and 1983 as a result of severe injuries from a car accident. I was informed Dr Noone was retiring but his partner Dr. Claytor would see me right away. Dr Claytor spent a great deal of time during my initial appointment gaining a thorough understanding of the history of my prior surgeries, the compromised anatomy of my leg and my prior bout with osteo. The risk of not getting proper care for the wound was possible amputation and he immediately had his staff set up all necessary appointments for x-rays, infectious disease evaluation and wound care options such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy. His sense of urgency and thorough evaluation gave me great deal of comfort that I was finally getting the best possible care by someone who really understood the unique challenges my leg presented. Dr Claytor developed a plan to heal the wound using non invasive procedures first but he also had a secondary plan for free flap surgery if necessary and consulted with colleagues in Philadelphia to explore all possible alternatives. I met with Dr Claytor at least once a week and sometimes more frequently for monitoring of changes in my wound. He prescribed the wound VAC in October 2015 and over period of 4 months, the VAC finally did close the wound. Dr Claytor counseled patience when I became frustrated by the slow healing process. He was absolutely right. Under his care, my wound healed completely and I avoided a complicated free flap surgery.I think the world of Dr Claytor. He is a true expert in reconstructive and plastic surgery. He explored all possible alternatives for treatment and fully explained all options to me along the way. His caring and compassion are unsurpassed. His staff is a critical part of the treatment team. They are very professional and proficient and truly invested in the well being of the patient. Emily was always available to answer questions and Kim and Michelle worked very closely with me on appointment scheduling and paperwork. I am very, very grateful for the all that Dr Claytor and his team did for me during the past 8 months. Again, thank you all very much for outstanding kindness and care.

Every member of the staff working with Dr Claytor was kind, which means so much when you are having surgery. I was able to ask as many questions as necessary for me to feel comfortable. I am forever grateful to Dr Claytor for his upbeat manner and his confidence and skill as a surgeon. I felt vulnerable going in to discuss the possibility of breast reduction surgery, but Dr Claytor was so open/so 'human' (unlike many doctors I've come in contact with over the years). This, coupled with his extensive experience, had me leaving my initial consultation feeling like I had found the right person/practice. Now that I am 3 months post-op, I remain just as positive about the team at Claytor Noone. I had a great experience from beginning til end and, by the way, my breasts look great!
