I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Rodwell and his staff. From my first consultation through my surgery was a journey I would take again. He is thorough, caring, logical and has no hard to deal with ego. He is modern in his approach and offers the latest techniques. I had a lower face lift and neck revision.. its beautiful, smooth and I look like myself. Before you go with another high profile surgeon, I urge you to meet with Dr. Rodwell. Aging does not need to look plastic.

This was such a great experience! I was very nervous to get a significantly large birthmark removed off of my face. The staff at Charleston Facial Plastic Surgery Center were so helpful and kind. Even during the consultation, Dr. Rodwell made me feel comfortable and still beautiful even though I want to change something about my face. The office is beautiful and Dr. Rodwel's bedside manner is outstanding. He walks you through everything that's going on while it's happening and isn't afraid to go above and beyond to make things the best experience for you. Every single person that has seen my face is dumbfounded at how there is basically no scar whatsoever. The laser treatment he did over the initial scar was so helpful that you can't even really tell that I ever had a procedure done. I am so much more confident and happy now in my own skin than I was before. He really cares and follows up even during holiday seasons to make sure that you're doing okay. There was no pain and the procedure was over so quickly and yet done so efficiently. I would highly recommend this place!

Dr Rodwell goes above and beyond what I expected of any doctor. He is very calming and explains in great detail everything he is doing. I had an ear piercing repaired and he treated me like a VIP! He is an expert at facial anatomy and I love how knowledgeable he is. Ashely at the front desk is very welcoming and makes you feel so special. The office is beautiful and feels very upscale. My experience with Dr. Rodwell was amazing! The ambiance of the office is very cozy and welcoming. Also, the receptionist is very sweet and super welcoming as well. Not only did the doctor take his time listening to my concerns, but he was completely thorough in explaining what he thought was the best option for me. I can't express enough how happy I am with his work. He wasn't pushy about getting everything done at one time, and his prices were amazing considering that the office is in such a beautiful tourist location. I don't even live in South Carolina, but I was there visiting a family member and was able to get an appointment with him without any issues. I will definitely be going back to him regardless of the fact that I'd have to travel down there again..

I was referred to Dr Rodwell by a coworker who is still a patient there. I have hollow eyes and dark areas and had been to a medical spa to have fillers placed. I did not do my research regarding fillers and the under eye area, so when the procedure did not improve my appearance, I then looked to a facial plastic surgeon. I looked at Dr. Rodwell's website after receiving a recommendation and decided to speak with him. I told him about going to the medical spa and he agreed that was not the best place to have the type of fillers done that I needed. He explained the under eye area can be tricky and a experienced doctor is best equipped to place the fillers to make sure you get the optimal result. Unfortunately for me, he was not well versed in the procedure either. Instead of using a catheter to place the fillers, which is just one injection, he did individual injections which left me with bumps and an uneven appearance. My eyes looked worse after the procedure than before. When I called to ask what could be done, Dr. Rodwell suggested dissolving the filler since I was not happy with the results but refused to refund my money. As you can imagine, I was very upset because my eyes looked worse not better and now I had to pay for someone else to fix his mistake. I have since been seeing a plastic surgeon in another city after doing much research on the procedure and knew what to look for in a physician. I am sure that Dr. Rodwell is excellent at other aspects of facial plastic surgery, but I just wanted to write this review in case anyone else might be considering the same procedure as myself.

I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Rodwell. He corrected my stretched out ear piercing and did a stellar job. He really took his time with me and explained everything in detail. You can tell that he is a perfectionist in his work. His office on Broad street feels like an upscale spa and is absolutely beautiful. I will definitely come back to him!

I can not say enough good things about this doctor in my experience with him. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the muscles in the face in the specific areas to target. I am a nurse and the person's training and ability to give me the desired look I'm going for is so important to me. He talks to me about the procedures, lets me ask questions, and addresses any anxieties I may have without feeling rushed. Every procedure I have had has turned out amazing. I even go to get botox from him now because of how accurate he is and how much I trust him. You have to go to a doctor not only knowledgable but also an artist in knowing how to do procedures that are attractive. I wish my mother lived in Charleston because I recommend him a thousand percent!! His staff is very professional and warm. I always look forward to seeing them when I come in or have to call them. He always follows up with me and I even get handwritten cards. This doctor really cares about his patients and is an exceptional surgeon. Because of my experience, I would trust him with any procedure. He tailors my procedures to what I need and what is best for me and my skin.

I immediately felt at ease walking in by the level of attention and consideration by his staff. The atmosphere is not at all like a doctor's office. I have a bit of 'white coat syndrome' so I normally get extremely anxious and apprehensive at any doctor's office. Instead of sitting behind a desk or in a patient's chair to discuss my treatment, I was welcomed in a lovely, private sitting area. I felt like i was invited into their home. I was even offered a snack and coffee if i wanted some. But what impressed me most was that Dr. Rodwell sat down and actually listened to every single question I had (which was a lot!) and took time to fully explain everything. He even got on his computer to pull up some research and visual aids just so i could have a visual image of his explanation. He made me feel like I was important and not a bit rushed. He is truly a master in his field. I am beyond grateful for the exceptional treatment and consideration I received. The moment you walk into Dr. Rodwell's office until the moment you walk out, you are not a patient, you are a VIP.

Beyond ecstatic! I was involved in a pretty traumatic boat accident and wound up with multiple facial fractures, teeth pushed up in my jaw, and significant facial lacerations. The accident wreaked havoc on my face, and the ensuing long recovery, weightloss and stress didnt help matters at all. Dr. Rodwell performed some significant surgery on my face 13 days ago, and I am thrilled. He is extremely meticulous (honestly, 13 days post, it is very difficult to tell where he made his incisions) and his bedside manner is by far at the top of any doctor I have dealt with over the past seven months...and there have been tons! Thank you, Dr. Rodwell, for giving me back the spring in my step again!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Rodwell and his new practice! Downtown has been long overdue for a prominent plastic surgery practice and Dr. Rodwell's Broad St. location provides a top notch, luxurious experience. The office is gorgeous and looks straight out of a magazine. Parking is not an issue as free gated, private parking is provided behind the building. Dr. Rodwell and his nurse are extremely friendly and thorough. They take the time to evaluate your areas of concerns, explain your options, the procedure, what to expect for recovery, and ensure you are comfortable throughout the entire process. Dr. Rodwell is very precise and has a keen attention to detail. Over the past year and a half I have had several botox treatments, filler, chemicals peels, and mole removal and have been extremely satisfied with all the results. Not to mention they offer very reasonable prices and run awesome promotions on peels, botox, and fillers. Dr. Rodwell and his team are no doubt on their way to becoming Charleston's premier facial plastic surgery practice! Thank you and I'll be back soon!!
