I recently completed care with this surgery group due to an injury I acquired at work. The office staff and nurses were wonderful. They worked with my schedule and made me feel welcome. They were very professional and accommodating. The hand therapy group were probably the best part of the visits. They were able to provide me with many avenues of care and rehabilitation to suit my needs. They customized my care to my needs and my job. Unfortunately, the worst part of my visits were the physician, Dr. Kennedy. He was extremely unprofessional. I did not want to set unrealistic expectations about the situation. He initially told me that I needed to trust him, that he is a great plastic surgeon, and that he would make it look great. During the very last visit, he said that it was about as good as it was going to get, and that hands generally do not heal as well. He stated that it would have been better if I had never injured my hand at all. He made several inappropriate comments. I guess because it was filed under workers compensation, he felt the need to remind me that he had to take the cost of health care into consideration when determining my course of treatment. He kept grabbing and squeezing my shoulder, which is in no way near the location of the injury. He spoke to me in an extremely condescending tone and manner. I am sure that for many physicians it is common practice to dictate about patients in front of them. I do not take issue with this practice. What I do take issue with is how he spoke about me in his dictation notes. His tone and mannerisms, as well as the terminology that he used was, I felt, belittling. As if he was bothered to have to deal with me. I was told by several nurses (outside of his practice) that this is not the first complaint of this nature that they have heard in regards to this particular provider.I hope that this review helps anyone considering this group in the future. I am sure that there are probably physicians in the group that have a better bedside manner, and who are more capable of dealing with hand injuries. I did not interact with any of them. I eventually did seek a second opinion with a completely different physicians group.

I found the physician to be pompous, arrogant, and he spent 1/2 hour chatting with his colleague outside my door about his wifes jewelry collection and then spent 2 minutes on me and patronized me during that time. Will not be back.

My hand was operated on 3 years ago and they didnt even work on the right fingers He was horrible We I didnt pay the last 40 bucks I owed him for messing my hand up worse - he turned me into collections .Its easier to pay it than hire and attorney but I almost did .I still have a finger that will not work .I was told the doctor only alloyed 10 mins in the operating room and that was why - he didnt have time .Worst Doc I have ever seen .

Dr. Rehm has given me pain free use of my hands back! Being a hairdresser for 35 years had taken its toll on them. Carpel Tunnel surgery on both hands and thumb joint replacement on the left hand last year. Having thumb joint replacement on my right hand after Christmas 2017. I would trust no one else.

Residents that cut on hands without letting the lidocaine kick in. Therefore feeling every single cut. Plus, Missed a severed tendon, or severed it himself because he did a shotty job! Wish I knew your name 'Resident with glasses & sandy blonde hair' because Dr. Brezenski was too busy to do anything himself. Guess their oaths meant nothing. A God send they sent in a totally different Dr. Who knows how lidocaine works and has a bedside manner. Not documenting anything you did?? We will be calling the the board and a few more places. Is it the medical society? It is quite sad they allow you to be a resident, you're not even fit to be a MA!
