Oh my goodness! Did my husband and I make the right choice ! After interviewing several other highly recommended surgeons, we were most impressed with Dr. Philip Langsdon. His presurgery consult with both of us was unhurried & very thorough! He took all the time we needed to answer all of our questions and concerns. I went here thinking I was coming to the best place in Memphis being oblivious that there are countless Med Spas and plastic surgeons. I asked for tear trough fillers which turned into cheek focus somehow. Nothing changed after painful injections and I literally threw $800 down the drain. There is no integrity involved in the consultation. Carol never told me I would have to get my cheek area continuously plumped however after she saw how disappointed I was she lied like she initially told me I would probably need more. I had to go elsewhere and get the look I asked for with honest staff and with one visit. This experience was my worse nightmare and hope noone else has to ever endure the disappointment and waste of time and money. I went there three different visits and specifically asked for tear trough fillers and did NOT see a plastic surgeon one time so save yourself the money and time and finds an amazing medspa like I did where you get your money's worth and exactly what you're asking for instead of being exploited.

This month is 14 month post op rhinoplasty with Dr. Langsdon. This surgery was life changing for me. I would do it all over again tomorrow! This review is a little lengthy but I want you to know how great of an experience I had with The Langsdon Clinic!Growing up I suffered several broken noses from being a super active kid. It wasnt until my teenage years I started noticing my crooked septum. It started small but devolved into a huge insecurity I couldnt get past. Every look in the mirror I focused mainly on the odd shape of my nose and it kept me from ever feeling good about my appearance. After years of talking about surgery and contemplating if I wanted to be the girl that got a nose job I finally stoped worrying about what other people would think and went to see Dr. Langsdon. My first visit I was so nervous. I hated looking at my nose and the last thing I wanted to do was walk into an office and talk to a stranger about how crooked it was. The office is very nice and clean and I had no trouble parking in the back. Beth is usually who will greet you at check in and she is so nice. You will start your first consult with taking your first set of photos with Marcus which youll pretty much do every visit from there on out. Immediately meeting Dr. Langsdon I felt a sense of comfort. I could tell he really cared about how I felt and wanted to make sure I had all my questions answered before I left to make my decision. I knew before I even left that he would be the one I wanted to perform my surgery. The surgery went exactly like he explained it, nothing was left out and no suprises. I felt taken care of and almost like family. Ok fast forward to surgery day. I arrived with my husband and parents. After paperwork is all signed they took me to the back in the surgery center. (Which saves you a lot of money btw because it is at their office. So no unexpected hospital bills postop) I put on my gown and had to wash my hair with some cleanser because Dr Langsdon had to use a tissue graft from behind my ear since my cartilage was so thin. My nurse Marie was very nice and I had total confidence that she would take great care of me. I met my CRNA which was also wonderful. I got a lidocaine shot in the area before my IV was inserted which I thought was such a nice extra. After speaking with Dr.Langsdon and his fellow surgeon Dr. Schroeder about the plans for surgery I remember getting some medicine and then waking up afterwards. No pain :)Post op week one: I never felt horrible after surgery. I did lay around a lot because those were my instructions take it easy. Let me just mention Vicky here. You will meet Vicky day one first appointment Im not sure her job title but she has been with the clinic for a long time. She is like your surgery momma. Vicky called my husband several times the first few days making sure I was ok and on the right track. If he had any questions she was there with answers. I cannot thank her enough for her support through the whole process! I used maybe half the pain medication prescribed because the first few days just felt like a bad headache. I did NOT have packing in my nose. It bled on drip pads for about a day and I just felt stuffy for a while. So because of that my bruising was very minimal. I could have gone back to work in a week. I did have an internal splint left in to hold my septum in place because of how bad it was and also had a splint on the outside. The splints were removed after 1 week. It was uncomfortable but it was super fast and Dr. Langsdon was as gentle as he could be getting them out. So here am 14 months out. All my swelling is gone. Most of it was down by the 6 month period but the year mark I could see my nose starting to define more in certain places. I went for my visit today and I can honestly say I will miss seeing the staff and Dr. Langsdon until my next appointment a year from now. Looking in the mirror today I see a confident woman with nothing holding her back. I wish I would have done this so much sooner. You will not regret doing this!

I've been a patient of Dr Langsdon for about three years now and wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. Dr Langsdon is THE BEST! I have quite a few facial and skin care issues, and he has and continues to take care of them all, from surgery to laser treatments to injections to my daily skin care regimen. All of the staff are super friendly and welcoming. I look forward to my appointments with Carol, who administers my Botox and dermal filler injections about 3-4 times a year. She's really attentive and thorough...and sweet! And, any questions I have are always answered in detail.... Over the years, I've spent an enormous amount on many, many different skin care products, as a lot of us have done. In April I had a lower cheek lift performed by Dr. Langsdon. From the moment I had the final dressing removed, I could not have been more pleased. I had a procedure done to my nose by Dr. Langsdon in the past and knew personally he was the doctor I wanted to use. He did a great job for me. He made the procedure look natural and not tight and drawn. The staff at the clinic is awesome. They were really nice and helpful making me feel more relaxed. I am so happy with the procedure. To be clear I was never a patient but went in for $100 consultation. I want a very simple rhinoplasty. I did research. I Googled National average for rhinoplasty, $4000 to $9000, average $4700. Today it is average $5125.. Bridge of my nose is wide, then gets very narrow, then wide again at bulbous tip. I waned bridge to be even average width and tip shaped to match, very simple. Dr. Langsdon said no, nope not doing that I am just going to do a little bit at tip. OK let's say he was right (even though he wasn't doing what I wanted., the cost quoted $8235 !!! Ridiculous, but he was not even doing a rhinoplasty, just a tip reshape (which should be even less). Very minimal work for max cost? I also got quote on eye lids and chin implant which was lower on the list, but it was also close to $9000. Eye lift range from about $2,000. For chin, Chin Augmentation Costs. The average cost of chin implant surgery is $2,269, So again they were DOUBLE. The total for nose, eyes, chin $17,000. Not saying go the cheapest, but it was clear they did not want my business or thought I was not educated on national going prices.
