From the minute the clinic called me for my consult-over-the-phone during this pandemic, I have received friendly and helpful service. I just scheduled my surgery today! I let the staff know what I needed, and they were quick to respond. I had to move my surgery up due to work, and worried I wouldnt be able to have it this year. I know schedules are full and yet they still found a way to work me in! Im so glad I have chosen Dr. Brantner to do my procedure. He and his wife are very sweet and informative, quick to answer questions and let you know what to expect.

Dr. Brantner is a highly skilled surgeon. I am so happy that I decided to go to him. After being in a car accident which I have permanent scaring from, my nasal bones and surrounding bones had to be reconstructed. The first surgeon who worked on me did a terrible job and had zero bedside manner. I had BR surgery 2months ago, I had the anchor procedure. I had absolutely no problems at all, no pain, very little swelling and the results are amazing, with the added bonus that my back , neck, and shoulders no longer hurt. Dr. Jim Brantner, M.D. is the best plastic surgeon and medical doctor I have ever had the opportunity to come in contact with. I had my nose and lip torn off from a dog attack in November of 2016. I did not think that I would ever and I do mean ever look normal again. This Dr. and his savior Jesus Christ whom he gives all the credit to has done two operations on me and I look like myself again. Let me clearly explain my encounter with these people. ( first of all, understand I've spent 4 yrs on my weight loss journey and have encounter serious issues as I've lost a lot weight. On my own [ 203lbs] Dr.s who don't see past that I'm still over 200lbs , dr. Who only see my weight as a cause of my problems like uti's , yeast infections , boils .. Ect. Ect. Ect.. so, I finally found a gp who realized my neck is curving due to how heavy my breasts are.. uti's because of my excess thigh skin & working out causes real bad issues blisters , bacteria and boils. So, he sent me to brantner ) I went in for a consult about a months ago. Oddly, a mom and pop dr office. Submitting for approval was basically on me. They submitted their recommendation and I made the calls.. at first denied , until I sent my insurance records that the office were supposed to submit. Meanwhile, I got two more uti's during that month wait. ( they didn't submit their part for 2 weeks ) I got approved of ins coverage with the a short window to get thighplasty, breast reduction and a 2nd panniculectomy. Fast forward to yesterday ( 4/ 18) I had not had a chance to ask questions or discuss any of my concerns ( my first surgeon took the time to sit down answer all my questions, assured me that everything was going to be fine ) I had ask brantner's staff about some extremely bad reviews he has. Health grades, topix, Google. They gave me my papers and said 'talk to the nurse when she comes in' ( the nurse is his wife ) so, my hubby, read threw everything I was to sign and said to wait on one until we talked to the nurse. Mostly, to put my mind at ease before this guy literally reconstructs half my body.. before we even get to talk to the nurse , one of the older secretaries comes out with a list of 3 dr.s and says ' you maybe happier going to one of these dr.s ' I said ' nah, I'll just talk to the nurse and do you have a book of before and after shots' She said ' the nurse will have that ' So, I go sit and finish my paper work and wait on her to stroll in 45 mins later. She sits down next too me and says ' you're not confident in the dr , we can not proceed with surgery ' I tried to say .. I just had questions but, she continued to say 'no no , I'm sorry we can't help you here' so, I left. These weirdos , locked the door.. my hubby was trying to ask if I left my id on the counter ( found it after on my back pocket ) and the nurse aka the dr.s wife wouldn't let him in. They treated us like we were some thugs! I wouldn't recommend dealing with these people EVER! P.s. if the lady who has a suit against reads this, I'll gladly make a statement to your attorney and / or go in front of the judge as to show the character of these people. Dr brantner has a lot of complaints including .. wound care , skin graph patient not healed , post op infections ... I could go on but, DO YOUR RESEARCH.. THERE'S BETTER DR'S OUT THERE! I'm literally suffering with my 10th uti this year and just want to get the skin removed but, I also want it done right! I'm sure if you're going threw anything simalar, you want someone to be honest and let you know, to find a better dr.

BEWARE!!! I had a complete botched breast reduction. He told me after my initial surgery that my breasts were high up as per the surgery and they would "settle with time." One of my breasts NEVER settled like the other and it was like a large mass. The pain was unbearable so I went back for a follow up. He said, "give it a year and come back." Well, I DID ONE YEAR TO THE DAY! I came back and he was floored by how the breast never settled and was deformed...he said he would, "remove it and make it normal all on my dime mind you! I was a college student and this was ridiculous but I wanted out of pain and to look like he told me I would! Normal I mean. He stated he would remove the large lump because it had been causing me extreme pain and a tearing feel that was only getting worse. I wake up from surgery and he hasn't removed anything. I'm not kidding, it was a nightmare. He stated the mass (that never settled) was just too large so he "shaved down the large mass." The next day I notice a yellow color near the opening where he "shaved down the mass"....That night I bend over to put on my pajama pants and puss (infection) comes rushing out. I'm not talking about a little bit, infection is pouring down my breast so I rush to the toilet and scream for my mom. I scream for a cup because I didn't know what was happening and infection fills up 3/4 of the cup. After it finished draining the very next morning, I call and HIS nurse said, "that's normal." I could not believe that old woman he had as a nurse was stupid enough to tell me that was normal. (She has now retired) I said, "no ma'am this is not! I explained how I bent over my toilet and infection drained out of me." My mother also had handed me a red solo cup and even after some infection had poured in the toilet, I filled 3/4 cup full with infection....ALL GREEN" She blows me off with "it's normal after surgery and to give it some time". I'm starting to feel bad and a fever by that time so I call my regular doctor who tells me to come in immediately. I start to get really sick as I go to my regular doc that is LIVID! I have a fever and am really not well. She does a culture asap and she gets me on antibiotics and told me get another opinion on my breast. She even sees how deformed I am and still no help because he didn't remove the mass. I see another doctor that is recommended to me. I go in, tell that doctor my story and have my records. That doctor is angry by my treatment and says," I clean up ALOT of his work as he does surgery too fast. You are not the only mess I've had to clean up" I had to have a large mass removed the size of a grapefruit and I am deformed because of his initial butcher. My second smart and caring doctor got me out of pain and removed the lump. They even stated that Dr. Brantner should of known better and should have removed the lump....because cancer can be in the middle of that lump. My new doctor told me it was a direct result of Dr. Brantner's botched surgery on me and the mass was the size of a large grapefruit. I'm so ugly and deformed now. I trusted this man and he has completed ruined me and my life. My other doctor was wonderful and stated I did nothing wrong, but I have been botched. I paid this man so much of my hard earned money for help and he did nothing but ruin me. PLEASE don't go to him. He claims to be Christian and didn't give a damn about me. I paid so much money out of pocket to get helped and all I got was butchered. I'd LOVE to share MY before and after PICS with anyone that wants to see. I will gladly share pictures for anyone needing proof of what he did to me....just reach out to me. DON'T let this man hurt you like he did me. He ruined my life and I hope he lives with that.
