I met Dr. Tarola for the first time almost five years ago. Dr. Mark Akins recommenced him. I had a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. Dr. Tarola went above and beyond during my journey. It was a complicated year for me and he was consistently available and kind. I felt 100% confident in him. Lately, I have had a cosmetic procedure at his office performed by him. I am very pleased with his expertise and his professional, but kind manner. I will certainly continue going to Dr. Tarola and recommending him to all!

After researching many PS that believe in Breast Implant Illnesses and does the explant and lift correct. I found Dr Tarola, and I am so glad that I did. I had my consultation and scheduled my surgery. I had my surgery on Jan 2. I couldn't be happier. From the time you walk in and meet Kaitlynn you feel comfortable, Joanna is absolutely amazing and makes you feel so at ease. Then working with Dr Tarola you know you are in great hands. Rude, unprofessional, wouldnt let me ask questions, rolled his eyes at me when I asked him to repeat the different types of surgeries. I am a recovering cancer patient with sagging skin from the surgeries. And I quote, Dr. so and so made it sound like you were a 300lb patient. I am 140lbs. I have never been treated worse or felt worse after a visit. He kept poking me in places I had told him were tender and sore. Please if you have any dignity or self respect avoid this egotistically rude doctor. Afterwards, I found out the general surgeon I was using didnt trust this plastic surgeon to aid him in surgery. Never returning here again!

My experience with Dr. Tarola and his entire staff was nothing short of professional and kind. I had breast implant removal/capsulectomy on Feb.10th.My pre op appointment he explained everything about the procedure and let me ask any questions I may have. I left the pre op knowing he would be my surgeon. My surgery day went well! I had a post op where he explained more of the healing process and his very sweet nurse, Joanne, removed the drains. I received my pictures of the implants with capsules from Tyler ( thank you!) and Dr. Tarola did a remarkable job! I live 4 hours away and needed recommendation where to have dinner. Hannah the insurance coordinator, had some wonderful recommendations from which I chose from! (Thank you!)Katilynn, who worked front office was extremely friendly upon entry and leaving the office. ;) She made you feel so comfortable. Dawn, was great helping me answer any questions before surgery and getting the process done. I have no regrets choosing Dr. Tarola as my surgeon. The entire experience was perfect. I plan to return for other treatments in the future! I will be recommending Dr. Tarola to everyone I know in Indiana. Thank you so much!

I just recently (three weeks ago) had a surgery from Dr. Tarola. at first I was apprehensive since I didnt know anyone personally that had used him for surgery. However, once I had the consultation I felt at ease. I went to two other consults in the Nashville area, and I sill felt best with him. I also want to note that his office staff was very helpful during the process of getting insurance to cover my procedure. They did all of the legwork for me. When I went in for the day of the surgery, the nurse prepping me said that she felt that he was the best. She said that he was very meticulous, and that if she were going to have any procedure she would use Him. I found it reassuring. The surgery went very smoothly, and my recovery has been very easy as well. My scars are healing nicely and are barely noticeable. Im so, so pleased and so, so grateful. My back immediately started to feel better. If you are looking for a good surgeon, i would highly recommend him.

Dr.Tarola Is absolutely amazing. He is by far the best plastic surgeon in Tennessee. I have had implants done by him and Botox. His staff is extremely friendly and professional. I always feel very comfortable here. Best Botox ever! You can tell hes a perfectionist and that makes it all the better.

My health history is pretty complicated, and I was having a hard time finding a surgeon anywhere in the country who was willing to take me as a patient. When I got a call from Dr. Tarola's patient coordinator, Kaylee, I was overjoyed! He carefully reviewed all of my medical files, and spoke to the anesthesiologist at the hospital he has privileges at about my case. Being accepted as a patient was the best feeling ever! So many had dismissed me without being willing to see the whole picture and immediate medical necessity of my procedure. I flew across the country to TN, and he used his hospital privileges to do my operation. I got photos for my own peace of mind, and there was even video recording during my surgery! Explanting with Dr. Tarola has been a wonderful experience. I knew my scars would be big, but his work is beautiful. I had zero bleeding on the pads when I unwrapped myself the next day, barely needed half a pain pill the first two nights, and drainage was minimal into the tubes. All great indicators of a careful job well done! His staff is all lovely, and Kaylee is a godsend. She is on top of everything, and really made my experience so smooth and comfortable. I couldnt be more happy with how things turned out!

Worst doctor for breast augmentation. Very unprofessional. He talked with me about a scam where he lost a lot of money then tried to charge me $6516.50 to fix my breast for the third time, then it magically went down to $3771.50 after he said that might be a little high. Then he ignored my phone calls and emails and sent me a letter saying he would no longer see me because a capsular contraction was likely going to happen again. The most unprofessional doctor I have ever been to. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I just went in for a Botox refresh. The staff is amazing and super friendly. They are all very knowledgeable. Dr. Tarola is extremely nice and very patient oriented. He doesn't rush and is mindful of his patients feelings. Billing was a snap, and the staff is great about working around schedules. All in all a great experience.

Edit: I'm coming back to say that people seem to be flooding this review page with negative feedback for one person's experience. Do not allow this to discourage you from using Dr. Tarola.Dr. Tarola performed a bilateral breast reduction on me in March of 2018 and I have nothing but good things to say about him. His staff are extremely kind and he is a very professional doctor who wants nothing but to make you happy with your body. He is the only surgeon I consulted with and I have no regrets for using Dr. Tarola because he was absolutely great all the way around. When I had concerns about my wounds and was an hour and a half away from the office on a day the office was closed, Dr. Tarola was kind enough to view photos of my concern via email and tell me it was normal.Please do not take into account the people spamming negative reviews because their friend had a bad experience. Take hers into account, but it is disgusting that they want to slander his reviews rather than move on like adults. Would use Dr. Tarola over and over and over again if I had the chance!
