Dr. Walden performed my mastopexy (breast lift) in 2009 and it was less than stellar. Her communication skills are lacking, she rarely looks you in the eyes and she doesn't seem to have an eye for symmetry. The consult was very brief and her surgical P.A. did most of the talking. That alone was the huge red flag I ignored. Shame on me. During the consult I referenced reducing the left breast which was larger than the right one so I could appear more even, but that request was ignored. I've spent a total of $18,000 already since I had to have revision plastic surgery to now look cosmetically pleasing. Go with your instincts. Look for a surgeon whom you can talk to and they deliver what you agreed to during the consult. I obtained all my medical records. I made her aware that I posted my concern on realself.com and got a lot of feedback from the surgeons on that site. I think this concerned her a lot. I refused to have her perform any revision surgery after the first. At that point (2010), her lawyer sent me a letter stating that she would refund her surgical fee if I stopped posting negative reviews anywhere. I never signed it, nor mailed it back to his office. It wasn't about the money at that stage, it was about the principle. What did I take away from all this is that just because a plastic surgeon is board certified does not mean their work is something you can walk around displaying proudly. It's very important as a consumer/patient to interview as many highly experienced plastic surgeons as possible, because there are just a few whose work is worth your hard earned money.

I cannot begin to express how blown away I am by Dr.Walden and her staff. The professional and extremely caring attention I received throughout all of my treatment really speaks volumes to who Dr.Walden is and what she prides herself in. Every single time I walked in the door I felt at home and that's something you really do not find in every practice. Carly was my nurse and stuck through my side through it all. I mean through everything. She helped with all my crazy questions and was there on the phone whenever I needed her. She was so genuine and absolutely amazing and kind. Really could not have asked for a better caregiver. Now for the good stuff. How did my surgery go? Well it's been about a month or 2 and I still haven't stopped smiling 24/7 over my results so there's that. Once again, I was absolutely blown away by Dr. Walden and her talent. She is a gem. Honestly, I don't know how she did it but my nose actually turned out better than I had imagined it in my dreams. She is so so gifted and I feel so fortunate to have had the pleasure of having her as my doctor. Really and truly cannot recommend Dr. Walden and her staff enough. Absolutely in love with my results and them.

Ive had three facial muscles treated every few months for the past three years at a different location. During my first visit at this office, she only felt comfortable treating one out of the three. Although the receptionists were kind and respectful, the doctor was not, appeared rushed and extremely eager for me to leave. I was in the office for 10 minutes. I drove 2 hours for nothing.

After researching different doctors all over town and going to several consultations I finally found Dr. Walden. I went in for a consultation and wanted all of my questions answered with solutions that would be reasonable. Dr. Walden sat with me going through every detail with so much professionalism, care, and patience I was blown away! She really took her time and knows her craft answering every single question. Especially with someone like me who has tons of questions. I felt so comfortable with her and her staff that I made an appointment and am ecstatic with my results! I am very happy that I have found someone that is really understanding and has such a great eye for detail! A true artist. I love her and her staff so much that I am now getting all of my Med Spa services ( such as laser and skin treatments) there as well. My skin has never looked better! Where do I start??? The entire experience was so out of my realm of thinking, when my beautiful wife talked about cosmetic surgery, it was like speaking to me in French. After seeing how much she wanted to look young again, I started by looking on the internet. I recently went to Dr. Walden's office for the first time after a gym pal referred her to me. I had scheduled a pre-consultation for a surgical procedure I have been long considering for some of my trouble areas -- three years after having my last child,, long awaited!! The wait time was minimal, the office ambiance and staff were extremely nice. Dr. Walden is clearly knowledgable and spent a lot of time with me and I've scheduled my procedure for a few months out - which I'm so excited about. I'll try and remember to update this review after, but I expect everything to go seamless. I'm at ease with Dr. Walden more than other Austin area surgeons I've met with.

Firstly, my implant exchange surgery went great! I love the results! Dr. Walden had to remove my 30 year old implants which had ruptured. She had to spend two hours just cleaning out the debris left from the rupture. She stitched in pockets for the implants, as well as adding abdominal fat in order to make an incredibly natural look and feel. Like I mentioned, I am so happy! Secondly, I was given information before and after and at each followup, so I knew what to expect, what to do and what to look for. If I had additional questions, they were always answered to my satisfaction in person or over the phone. And thirdly, Dr. Walden and her entire staff are friendly, compassionate and helpful!

This review is for Dr. Walden and most of her staff. If I was giving a review on the rest of her staff and their 'med spa' beauty services, I would have easily rated them as a one. I received some med spa services here recently and it was a HUGE waste of my time and money, as well as a lot of frustration due to a couple of her rude and unprofessional med spa staff members. The only reason I did not give Dr. Walden's office five stars is because of miscommunication issues within the office. In hindsight it could have been for several reasons, but the end result was worth it. The day of my consultation Dr. Walden was sick and couldn't meet with me, but I had spent four hours driving, so I met with a nurse anyway. Dr. Walden was kind enough to stop in to say hi and meet with me quickly, but I never had an initial consultation. I had my surgery here in July of last year and this was my first surgery. I was not told that I would need to stay within the city/close to the surgery center overnight. Looking back, it seems like common sense, but at the time I honestly had no idea, nor was told anything that even closely resembled the idea of staying overnight. I had never had surgery before and I didn't live that far away, and I was very nervous and excited and had other things on my mind (being a single-parent in a state with no family and how I'd continue work, school, and taking care of my son while recovering from surgery). The days leading up to my surgery were a bit stressful because of these reasons, but when I arrived for my surgery the stress was added on because I was told that I would need to stay overnight and I had no plans whatsoever to do so. In fact, I had a friend drive me to the doctor's office in my car, and the plan was to drive back after surgery. Regardless, Dr. Walden and her staff apologized for the miscommunication and were very accommodating. One of the nurses allowed me to stay with her overnight. She was very professional and took good care of me. I was very nervous about the surgery as I had been saving for it and researching different surgeons and procedures for the last years.Overall, I am glad that I went with Dr. Walden. I am pleased with my surgery and it is what I wanted. She is a very professional and talented woman. My only concern now is the scaring, it seems pretty bad, but again, this is my first surgery so I'm not sure what is considered normal healing. I use scar creams and bandages, but it's been almost a year and the scars are still very noticeable and textured. I do not like the scaring at all. Also, a few months after the surgery, it looks like my skin teared a bit around the implant. It is not as round as it was before, and it looks like the pocket under the muscle might have been torn. I went to see Dr. Walden and she said she couldn't see what I was talking about, but it's very obvious, especially compared to before photos. I feel like I will have to get them re-done again at some point.

I had a neck and face lift. I have been very pleased with the results and the nurses and Dr. Walden gave me the best of care possible. Dr, Walden is like and artist in what she does. I dont normally write reviews, but after seeing all of Dr. Waldens ads in magazines that she pays for and also that she has a publicist to get her business name going .... I have to help the innocent who willl go to her and spend money hoping to make themselves feel better after maybe a divorce or some long time insecurity.... The truth is- She is a TOTAL HACK. RUN!!!!!!! The worst surgeon. I have horrible scars from my tummy tuck- from the drain holes and from her incision line. She also put in way too large of implants and made me look so imporportional. I had wanted a lift, not implants at 53. She wont care about you, does not do a follow up call the day of surgery at home (like most) and doesnt have the esthetic eye for good work, nor the surgical skills. Grades yes, but not the surgical skills.Check out why she ran from NYC. Look her up! Please do your homework!!!!!! Talk to past patients.Or just RUN!

I had a consultation with another local plastic surgeon and it wasn't a good consult...trying to talk me into bigger than I wanted to go etc... I saw a Doctor in Round Rock for a breast augmentation/reconstruction. I was very unhappy with the results. I then did some research and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Walden. She as well as her Staff were professional, courteous and made me feel very comfortable. During my consultation with Dr. Walden, I stressed to her that I was very unhappy with the appearance and size of my breasts. She took her time and listened to my concerns. NOT RECOMMENDED: I had to make an appointment several months ahead due to a lack of availability. About a week before the appointment, I was informed that Walden would not be available. We changed the appointment to earlier in the day when Walden would be available, but my wife was unable to change her work schedule to go with me. When I arrived for the appointment, I was told that Walden had an emergency and I would meet with the nurse (not a nurse practitioner).First, the nurse asked if I were there for a brow lift. It is easy to see that I do not need a brow lift. NB: guys should almost never have a brow lift as it leaves a scar across the head that can be seen when hair recedes. Also, you will have the up-swept eye brows of Sly Stallone, Kenny Rogers and Cruella De Vil. Second, the nurse asked if I were interested in an upper or lower eyelid surgery. Honey, open your eyes, there is no evidence of lower lid lag.Third, Artis Hair Transplant is done by tech's who come in from Dallas. I was interested in fuller eyebrows and there was no mention of the topicals that can have benefit.Based upon the photos of Walden, that are everywhere in the office, to me Walden is looking quite 'hard'. This is not great advertising as to aesthetics.Buyer Beware!
