I was living in Colorado when I reached out to Dr. Caridi and the whole process could not have been easier! His staff including Cherri, Carol, and Maria are AMAZING and guided me throughout the whole process. Dr. Caridi performed a rhinoplasty on me and I am completely blown away by the results. It has now been two weeks since my surgery date- it is unreal how fast I am healing! They gave me great aftercare instructions which I followed and Maria has been available every day to answer any questions or concerns I have had. I would like to share my review for Dr. Caridi and Westlake plastic surgery. I have a 15 yr old son that started developing gynecomastia 2-3 yrs ago. He was a little bit of a 'late bloomer' so I always thought it would just go away but instead it got worse. After having our local doctor tell us to focus on diet/exercise (which doesn't help gynecomastia) I decided to start my investigation. I found Dr. Caridi online and made the decision to submit our pictures to them and see what they had to say. From the beginning of our journey to the end we had the greatest experience. The staff was absolutely amazing. It has changed my son's life. He has so much confidence and it has only been one week! The pictures on their Facebook page are my son's case. I would say to parents who are contemplating this procedure to have it done. As with any surgery there are always risks but the reward for us has been amazing! My experience with Dr. Caridi and his staff has been nothing short of incredible. I first reached out to Dr. Caridi after battling with gynecomastia and it's psychological effects for many years and submitted photographs for a FREE online consultation. Dr. Caridi responded within 24 hrs and confirmed that I did in fact suffer from gynecomastia and informed me that the indicated treatment would be surgical removal and liposuction. Dr. Caridi provided a very reasonable quote for surgery and I made the decision to stop putting it off and schedule it. I am currently 3 days post-op and can say with confidence this has been one of the best decisions that I have ever made in my life. The nursing staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating to both myself and my family going out of their way to ensure we we had a great experience. From the moment I walked into the AGC I was made to feel welcome. I cannot stress enough the welcoming environment that Dr. Caridi and his staff have created. Dr. Caridi's work truly speaks for itself and after a 15-20 minute pre-op conversation I had full confidence in Dr. Caridi and his surgical abilities. Dr. Wilson, the anesthesiologist, inspired the same confidence. Day of surgery went as smooth as you can possibly imagine and Dr. Caridi and his nurses make sure the post-op care instructions are very clear and simple to follow. The nurses even provided me with phone numbers where I can reach them at anytime day or night and encouraged me to send photographs to keep them updated with any concerns. I had a drain placed on one side and had a follow-up visit with Dr. Caridi the following morning where the drain was removed. The results were immediately satisfying. I under went gyno surgery in March 2019. Dr Caridi and his team did an excellent job! The process was professional, up-front, and honest. I was quoted a price and that's the exact amount I paid. My recovery flew by and after about 7 weeks any bruising and scabs were completely gone. By Memorial day weekend I was able to enjoy the weekend at the lake shirtless soaking up the sun! (This is something I hadn't done in 7 years!) My results turned out very good! The team at AGC is very competent and has an eye for detail. I'm very thankful for the work they performed. I first emailed photos of myself to Dr. Caridi for his opinion on getting gynecomastia surgery. I was quoted a price in his response and later sent paperwork to be filled out. In the paperwork, I marked that I had the following conditions: diabetes, irregular heartbeat and high blood pressure. All of these conditions have been under control since my drastic weight loss and change of lifestyle. This didnt seem to be a problem as I was told the next step for surgery was to be cleared by my personal doctor and have an EKG conducted. After successfully being cleared by my doctor and paying a ridiculously expensive out of pocket bill, I was told by Dr. Caridis team that I was too high risk for surgery. They came to this conclusion because of my diabetes and BMI, both of which was known previously of me visiting my doctor. I am extremely upset that I paid for a doctor visit all for nothing and also very disappointed in Dr. Caridi and his team. I do understand the concern for my health and well-being, but you could have determined my risks before my doctor visit. Now Im $500 shorter on getting my procedure done at somewhere else. Thanks for wasting my time and yours.

Dr. Caridi, and all of the ladies in the office, are great! Thats truly an understatement! Let me start with Dr. Caridi. He is honest and straight forward. When I first went in to see him, I wanted him to tell me all of the right things. I wanted him to tell me that I was going to look exactly like the pictures I brought in. Well I didnt hear that, and Im glad I didnt. I heard the truth. He cares about your safety and truly has your best interest at heart, while still providing results that are the best you can get! You will not be disappointed by what he can do. He is going to be honest about what he believes he can achieve, and he will deliver far beyond that! The staff is great. They treat you like theyve known you forever. The nurses are the sweetest, and very professional. They really go above and beyond what they have to do. Maria is the best nurse Ive ever had. When her day stopped at the office, that didnt mean she stopped caring. She was there to answer my questions and calm my nerves far past the time she was required to do so. Westlake Plastic Surgery doesnt just treat you like a customer or patient, they treat you as if you were their family. If youre researching surgeons, please at least schedule a consultation. Lets be honest, plastic surgery is there to make you feel great and help you be happier with yourself. Their goal was to help me achieve that, while making sure I was 100% safe. I promise this lengthy review doesnt give them the credit they deserve!

I couldn't say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. Caridi and his entire staff. From the moment I called to inquire, to my extensive follow up appointments, the entire office was more than friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I consistently felt like a priority when visiting and calling to ask questions. Other offices I called made me feel like just another customer but Caridi's staff took the time to talk to me as a person and make sure I felt welcomed. After having my first child, I knew I wanted to improve my overall look. Dr. Caridi listened to what I wanted, not what he wanted to do, and made sure I was happy with my results. I would more than recommend Westlake Plastic Surgery. I'm honestly a little sad I don't have any follow up appointments scheduled ;-)

AWFUL EXPERIENCE _ BOTCHED GYNACOMASTIA by CARIDIi had surgery for mild gyno done by caridi 12 months ago with an awful result1. the preop assessment was inadequate. he spent one minute with me, did not examine me and did not explain the surgery/consent.2. the surgery was done poorly, rushed and incomplete with a bad result - very uneven and lopsided. he did excessive lipo on the right side and much less on the left side. . this has left me with a significant asymmetry postop. the right side is a lot smaller now and my upper pec is deformed. he misused the vaser and caused second degree burns. this has left me with significant skin scaring, discoloration and burning pain. when i showed the second degree burns to the nurse post op - maria , i was advised this was normal3. i found post op communication with lacey and caridi deceptive, evasive, misleading and dishonest. initially he said the result was incredible. after three months, he acknowledged the asymmetry but said that this was swelling and fluid, which should settle with six months massage. he has not provided any proper and truthful explanation for any of these complications. NO answers to specific questions as to WHY uneven and lopsided? he said that the problem was my expectation ?? i had mild gyno and postoperation i am now left with a small and deformed right chesthe said that this has never happened before. he has stopped responding to emails asking further for advice and postop management for the ongoing worsening scar and tissue defect. he has effectively abandoned postop follow up4. i have sought a second opinion from a local surgeon who has confirmed that these complications are due to over resection of normal tiissue, a result of poorly planned surgery. the liposuction was not done equally on both sides. the sternal and axilla edge, and the delto-pec groove has been aggressively resected on the right BUT not addressed on the left side. he was unable to explain why there is a big divot next to my right axilla and deltoiid muscle, and he told me that he could not understand why this area was subjected to liposuction on one side but not the other side!5. in summary, i have had a disastrous result. in my case, caridi has done bad, lopsided surgery [my right chest is now flat and collapsed] and then tried a cover up by trying to tell me that the result is excellent. i have submitted a complaint to the texas medical board about my experience [including corroborating evdence - sequence photos and emails, second opinion]Update :Caridi is currently being investigated by the Texas Medical Board for unstisfactory professional conduct - specifically unsatisfactory assessment and consent and follow-up process, and a deceptive misleading website. Anyone considering surgery by Caridi should contact him and the TMB to ask about these issues

Gland removal went great, but Dr. Caridi didnt sculp my chest very well. There is still some fat in my upper chest, near my armpit. It kind of looks weird having a flat chest with fullness in that area. If youre getting surgery here, be sure to tell him exactly what you want. Other than that, amazing staff and good work.

I was very disappointed in this doctors office. He doesn't accept African American patients. This was my first time experiencing Racist in Austin or in the Plastic Surgery business. But I Thank God for Mia Dr Alvarez in Austin. I was accepted as a patient and was turned away due to my skin color. The doctor's Nurse emailed me back after I asked if my rejection was due to my race. She states my BMI was too high. But I am 160 pounds and 6' tall you do my BMI. So I knew then it was a lie. Again Thank you for showing your true colors. It's a private practice so the doctor can pick his patients. But to lie and say it's my BMI was too high if I get any smaller I will be sick.

Everything about this place is outstanding, the Doctors and staff are great people , since I walked in I got greeted with a smile by everyone I came in contact with, they made me feel at home, and even tho I was nervous about the surgery, everyone made me feel relaxed and made me feel confident, I made the best decision by having my surgery done with Dr Caridi, amazing Doctor , he exceeded my expectations with the outcome of the surgery, I expected a little loose skin since it was a lot of gyno inside and when I took off my vest I was amazed, my chest perfectly aligned and no loose skin at all, i will recommend Dr Caridi to anyone Words cant explain how happy I am and how my life changed after I came out of that door.

I am VERY pleased with the results of my Breast Augmentation and Reduction (BAR) performed by Dr. Robert Caridi. I am an African American female age 56. I have very dense breast tissue and my breasts were low and sagged my entire life. I was always very self-conscious about how my breasts looked in bathing suits and other strapless outfits. After having my BAR, I now have the volume, fullness, roundness, and perkiness that I never had! My husband LOVES the new me and so do I! Dr. Caridi far EXCEEDED my expectations! I chose the IDEAL IMPLANT Structured Breast Implant instead of the silicone gel implant because I was concerned about the cost of MRIs required to detect silicone gel rupture. Having peace of mind of no silent rupture is priceless. The IDEAL IMPLANT looks and feels very natural. No one has questioned by new look! As a professional organization, much less a Doctors office (a facility where legitimate medical procedures are performed daily), I would expect business to be conducted with the utmost proficiency and respect. I would also expect the administrative personnel at the front desk to conduct themselves with an exceptional amount of class and professionalism. Unfortunately, neither of these criteria were met, or even attempted to be met during my consultation appointment on Wednesday June 14, 2017. First of all, the appointment was scheduled via email with no information pertaining to the structure of the appointment, or any additional advice for a new patient. It was simply put just show up. As a novice to this entire realm of medical treatments, I was already apprehensive with this lack of attention to detail. Secondly, upon my early arrival to the office (appointment at 3:00pm, 30 minutes prior, to complete any necessary paperwork), the woman behind the counter greeted me with a very immature Dang girl, you are early. We will get you back soon. (I would use her name but unfortunately she also never introduced herself) Having visited many doctors offices in my lifetime, Ive NEVER been spoken to like that before. Excellent foreshadowing of the quality of medical care provided. Once the hour of my scheduled appointment approached, I remained sitting in the waiting area, without any acknowledgement from the woman behind the counter. It appears she had more important tasks to adhere to, such as plotting with a co-worker about how to vacate her job faster that day. 3:15 comes and goes, and still zero acknowledgement, much less an update on the duration of the wait. By 3:40, I needed information regarding the appointment and if it was still going to take place. Further, I had another obligation to attend in another part of town, and unlike the front desk staff at West Lake Plastic Surgery, I am a professional woman who keeps her schedule and will inform additional parties of any delays in my arrival. I approached the filthy window of the front desk and asked the receptionist about the status of my appointment. Her response to me was its not like I can make them go any faster, do you need to reschedule?It was after this insulting exchange of words that I left the office, extremely infuriated and offended. I have yet to be contacted by the office to apologize for their complete and total lack of professionalism, negligence towards my appointment and my time, and finally for the vulgar display of customer service and professionalism displayed by the receptionist. I will be pursuing assistance from another medical facility and will NEVER be back at Westlake Plastic Surgery again.

BAR PROCEDURES!! After doing extensive research on what I wanted done and needed done I started researching the BEST doctors for what I want. Being the kind of person I am I want to make sure I was going to get the best results possible and searching for the right doctor can be difficult but I had many consultations with the top plastic surgeon I could find for what I was needing (reduction, lift, and implants). Also, I have had one child and wanted to be able to still breast feed when I had another child. I had read all the reviews and even researched Dr. Caridi. Went in for my consultation and have never been treated more like a princess that anywhere Ive been by the staff! The best part about Dr. Caridi is he KNOWS WHAT HES DOING! He doesnt sugarcoat anything and is direct which could hurt some peoples feelings. All the other Dr. I have consultaions with all said the same thing...they could do what I wanted. None of them also told me the bad that could happen, except Dr. Caridi. I already new what could happen and the results I could have if my procedure went wrong. But Dr. Caridi didnt try to sell me just because he wanted my business he was HONEST! So if someone doesnt tell you the bad with good how can you fully trust someone? He did! So I knew he was the Dr. for me and my needs. I scheduled my surgery and I went in on January 16 2017. Could not have been treated better! Now, over a year later my results could not have been any better or done better by any Dr. They are even better than I was expecting and a total LIFE changer for me. From a 34 G+ to a 32 DD. I had a breast augmentation by Dr. Caridi a few months ago and could not be happier! Now that I have had time to recover, I can give a great review of my results. Dr. Caridi and the nursing staff spent a lot time with me in my consultation appointment helping me try on different implant sizes. Probably too much time, I know they are super busy, but they spent as much time with me as I needed. I was worried I would go too small (like all our friends worry us about) or that I would go too big (what a conundrum, right). They had me try on different shirts and look in the mirror at different angles so I could really see what they looked like. I tried on every size. Ironically, the size that they suggested first was the size I ended up choosing. They obviously know what they are doing. They helped me choose a size that perfectly fit my body and complimented my natural curves.Luckily, I already had breast tissue so he told me my breasts will feel natural and I didn't have to worry about them looking 'fake'. This is so true! I can't even tell I have implants. They feel like my own breasts!!What I also loved was that he spent a lot of time explaining how my implants will look with the curvature of my rib cage and the shape of my existing breast tissue and skin. He took time to explain the importance of wearing the right bra every day so my implants stay high and perky for a long time. Bra bra bra. They also suggested that I use scar cream on my incisions to help scarring. He used the Keller Funnel to insert my implants so the incision was very small, about an inch-ish, and it is already disappearing and hidden in the fold of my breast. The procedure was so quick and my recovery was perfect. I am beyond happy with my new ladies and certainly have sent my friends and family to Dr. Caridi.

I had my Gynecomastia surgery today at Dr. Caridis office and the experience was perfect, just as I expected. The staff was extremely nice and they made me feel comfortable throughout my entire visit. From the time I walked in and was greeted by name, I felt comfortable as if I were at home. You can really tell that everyone (the nurses, the medical assistant, the Anesthesiologist, and Dr. Caridi) really love their jobs and are very passionate and professional about what they do. I was worried about the anesthesia, but they assured me that there was nothing to worry about and they were right. The IV was painless and I was out like a light in seconds. I woke up to my nurse who was very helpful and offered me a sprite to drink. She then answered any questions that I had concerning my post-op care. Dr. Caridi came in and talked with me afterwards and showed me the gland he took out. It was huge and I was surprised that he was able to take such a big gland out of such a small incision. The incision was extremely small and inconspicuous and it will heal up nicely. I am beyond pleased with my visit and my results. This man is THE BEST when it come to this surgery, so if you are thinking about going to him, just do it because I promise you wont regret it.

I had my gynecomastia surgery back in August and wanted to make a full honest review after my recovery and I could not be more pleased with my results. Dr. Caridi is gynecomastia expert with many many years of experience. Once I walked through the door I was welcomed by his staff and by Dr. Caridi himself. I just had gynecamastia surgery there four days ago and I was almost to tears when I seen my chest. He removed the whole gland and contoured my chest perfectly and the swelling hasn't went away yet.I have got two previous gyne surgeries before and neither came out close to what I was told because the Dr's wouldn't remove the whole gland. When It comes to gynecamastia he is second to none.

I wanted to share my experience with the Austin Gynecomastia Center (AGC), Dr. Caridi and his staff. I have suffered from Gynecomastia for as long as I can remember. I am now 50 years old and looking back over my life I have missed out on so many special occasions with my family and kids because I was always uncomfortable with the way I looked. I was always self-conscious when going to the lake, water parks, tubing etc. I happened to come across a work out video on YouTube in which the main person in the video suffered from Gynecomastia and documented his experience. This led me to other videos documenting Gynecomastia surgeries and the results until I came across Dr. Caridis videos and the work that he does at the AGC. I think I watched each of his videos, some multiple times and there are quite a few. The videos cover several different surgeries, recovery and other very informative topics related to Gynecomastia. I truly felt like I already knew Dr. Caridi and some of the staff before I had even stepped foot into his office. I also read over many reviews. Reviews are tricky because personalities play a large part in how you may accept or interpret feedback when it comes to your body and any preparation that you may be told you have to work on to ensure you have positive results from the surgery. Dr. Caridi came across to me as someone who is very passionate about his work. The staff at the AGC was absolutely fantastic. They were caring and did everything they could to relieve the nervousness that I was experiencing going into this situation. When I went into the office for the surgery I was very comfortable with the staff and then meeting Dr. Caridi he continued to relieve any stress I may have had going into the operation. He even took the time to come out and meet my family who had accompanied me to his office that day. The surgery itself went as planned and I woke up in recovery to my family. During the next couple of days I was really surprised that I was not in more pain and only had to take 1 does of the pain medicine. I was uncomfortable more than anything, tender for sure but if I had to rate the pain over the first 3 days of recovery I would say it ranged between 4-6 on a 10 scale. The compression vest was uncomfortable to me but after 2 weeks of suffering with that vest I went and purchased several Under Armor and Nike compression shirts to wear under the compression vest. I would highly recommend this. Also I purchased medium compression shirts instead of the large which is more my size because the mediums were very tight and I felt like they offered more support and compression. I am now just over 4 weeks out from the surgery. I am still a little sore to the touch and rolling at least 3 times a day. There is some discomfort when using the roller but that seems to be getting better over time. The results so far are really looking good. I have some swelling still and especially in my right chest that I have been a little concerned with but I went into Dr. Caridis office for a checkup and they explained that this is swollen tissue that will take time to return to normal and this could take months. I will make sure to post an update to this after several months. The staff has reassured me that it will subside over time but if not they would of course make sure it was taken care of. The cost is substantial and it took years of saving up to be able to afford this surgery I would highly recommend Dr. Caridi and his staff and if at all possible I would not wait 40-50 years to decide to get this done as those are years of my life I will never get back. If you are at the 40-50 year old stage like I am the recovery to this point has not been bad and I would do it again. Thank you to Dr. Caridi and his staff for making this such a positive experience for me.

I went for my consultation for the B.A.R procedure back in December of 2012. I had done a lot of research on area surgeons and Westlake Plastic Surgery far surpassed the rest. I met with Lacy and I felt comfortable immediately, she is super sweet and very knowledgeable. Dr. Caridi and Lacy helped me decide on size and made sure I was comfortable with my decision, they were never pushy or tried to rush me into anything. The surgery went really well and I went home to rest afterward. They made sure to call and check to see that I was doing ok. I had zero issues with healing and was surprised at how quickly I was up moving around. Dr. Caridi and everyone at his office are so friendly and genuinely care about the outcome of your procedure. This was the biggest investment that I have made and I am more than happy that I chose Westlake Plastic Surgery.

After giving it time to reflect, I still feel the same way with my overall experience with Westlake Plastic Surgery. Having an otoplasty (ear surgery) in February 2016, the doctor was rude, cocky and did not give me the time or respect to express myself and my concerns. Acknowledging the blame is partly my own for enlisting their services, they did, however, not take into consideration my reasonable feelings before or after the procedure.My experience with Westlake Plastic Surgery entailed an otoplasty and I have had to have a follow-up procedure to correct their mistakes. Caridi and his nurses are not familiar enough with this procedure. The practice is sloppy, the procedure was rushed, my follow-up was rushed, multiple stitches were not properly removed or even noticed, the office never followed-up with me after expressing dissatisfaction with my procedure and overall, entire process. If you still choose to take the chance and go, do not expect exceptional or even fair customer service. Following your procedure, do not expect to meet or hear from Caridi again; even if you kindly request a follow-up. Apparently, he does not do them. Good luck!

I have had two procedures done there now, a face lift and a tummy tuck and I plan to go back for breast augmentation soon. Dr. Caridi and all his staff helped me on my journey with my husband and I. My husband had severe Gynecomastia and it had bothered him from age 14.
