Dr. Burkett removed a bullet from my leg and cyst from between my eyes years ago. (2 different visit maybe a year apart) The bullet was deeper than we initially thought and he made sure he was not hurting me while removing it. Excellent 'bedside' manners both times. He genuinely cared about me while performing both operations.

Dr Burkett is truly TRULY amazing. From the very first time I met him, I knew I could trust him and he was the Dr for me. I'm on day 2 from a breast lift/augmentation. He gave me his cell number to call at any time in case ANYTHING comes up or if I have ANY questions. He is an outstanding man and all of the ladies in the office are incredibly sweet. Dr. Burkett is wonderful! He came in the office on a Saturday, the day after Christmas no less, and spent a good chunk of his morning working on my husband and I who were injured on Christmas. He has gone above the call of duty with us, and we have really enjoyed getting to know him and his staff. They are warm and caring, knowledgeable and I'd recommend him to anyone!

6 months ago I had a tummy tuck, breast reduction/ lift with liposuction and results are fantastic. I am 59 years of age and Dr. Burkett exceeded all of my expectations. During the initial consultation Dr. Burkett answered all of my questions and put to ease any concerns I had. HIs staff are outstanding. The recovery time was very minimal and I returned to work within a few weeks. The after care I received from Dr. Burkett and his staff was awesome as well as his surgery team. He is very detailed with explaining the procedures/surgeries and is truly an artist. Experience was a 10+

Dr. Burkett is one of the nicest and most compassionate Dr.'s I've ever met and he is magic with his procedures. His staff is the nicest ever too. I have neurofibromatosis on left side of my face and neck and he removed them all and was a painless procedure he did right in his office as an out patient , I have had 3 other doctors do this and was not a pleasant experience. I had the best experience and the best time. Had a thigh lift - the staff was great. Dr Burkett was terrific and had absolutely NO PROBLEMS. Recovery was shorter than I was expecting. Got nothing but proaise for the Dr.,, the staff - Happy Girl!!

Dr. Burkett has anger issues that carry into the operating room. He lost his temper when he learned I had signed up for surgery at Methodist instead of his Surgical Center. With the switch in location, he initially refused to perform what he had agreed to perform, saying he could 'lose my license'. I was already prepped and waiting in the surgical suite when he came in and started yelling at me about switching. He then angrily agreed, and then acted out with his scalpel while I was under anesthesia. His 'bikini cut' was made 1.5' below my naval (see pic), extending at a slant from one hip to the other. I did NOT agree to this. He NEVER mentioned the option of 'up-charging' for 'plastic-surgery grade' surgery. I went to a Plastics doc because I expected Plastics results. He did a great job 8 years ago, so I expected the same. He did NOT discuss ANY of the information mentioned in his 'owner response' below. There was NO discussion of cost, other than my mention that I had insurance. He DID seem agitated when I mentioned my insurance would cover this during the initial appointment. BTW: He is violating HIPAA by disclosing medical information about me without my permission. I am not overweight. I had 2 lipomas caused by a medical condition. Bottom line: He agreed to one thing, but performed another. He acts 'nicey-nice' but apparently has deep-rooted issues that he is willing to inflict on patients when angry. This is a major ethical violation. Cause no harm doctor. I have no reason to falsify this info, but offer it as a warning to future potential patients.

I have nothing but praises about Dr. Burkett. I didn't think that ANYONE could help me! I had previously had a breast augmentation and was happy with my results. One day I was in the yard trying to remove some old shrubs and I managed to tear the 'pocket' in my right breast. I had instant, severe pain and a burning sensation. I had one breast that was in perfect place and then there was my right breast. It literally was laying on my chest inches lower than my left breast. I was absolutely mortified! I decided to go see Dr. Burkett. BEST decision I could have made! He assured me that though I did present with a slightly difficult issue that he could 'fix' my problem. Just a few days later I was in surgery. It did end up being challenging because I also had extremely thin breast tissue. As with any scar tissue, when it is removed it can be very bloody. I did end up with some drains which I expected because Dr. Burkett explained that it was definitely a possibility. My recovery began on Friday at home. Dr. Burkett called to check on me several times and even met me on Sunday at his office to remove my drains. I am so extremely happy that I decided to go and see Dr. Burkett. I absolutely love my results and would recommend him to my family and friends.

When I decided to get breast reconstruction after my masectomy in 2011, I didn't know which plastic surgeon to turn to. I looked all over and had a few bad appointments. I didn't feel like the doctor cared or was truly interested in helping me get my breast back. I was referred to Dr. Burkett's office and from the moment that I walked in the door, I knew I was home. All three of the lovely and beautiful ladies in the office make you feel so welcomed. My first consultation with Dr. Burkett was by far the most comforting doctors's appointment I have ever had. He didn't rush me and he was very knowledgable. I am almost done with my reconstruction and I must say, that I am so very pleased on the services I received from this whole office. I finanlly feel whole and like a woman again thanks to the wonderful construction work of Dr. Burkett!! I love them!!
