She was by my side throughout helping me with everything. I made my appointment to meet Dr. Jaffer. He was very sweet. He listened to me. I didn't feel like I was talking to a salesman (which had been my previous experiences). He was genuine and explained the procedure, the recovery and what results I could expect. He talked to my family and gave them answers the day of the procedure. I met Judy, her compassion and understanding gave me the support I needed. The facilities and staff the day of the procedure couldn't have been better. I am in heaven with my results. I celebrated my thirty-fifth wedding anniversary with lot's of selfies. Dr Jaffer performed my tummy tuck to remove excess skin after weightloss. He gave me a waist I never thought I had. During the Covid Pandemic I had a unrelated issue and did not know who to reach out to. I reached out to his team at about 10pm and he saw me in person the very next morning. All I can say is DO your research..I had a mastopexy with implants over a year ago and I'm so disappointed in myself for not doing my research on choosing the best surgeon .I have gone back and forth with different surgeons and first thing they notice are the terrible scars I was left with .There are so many things I'm not happy with. The scars was the biggest disappointment ,Doctor said he could redo the surgery but i had to pay anesthesia which is around 3 grand ,to be honest i wouldn't go back to this surgeon even if it was free . I will be getting the whole surgery redone with a different surgeon..Good luck if u decide to go to this surgeon but from my personal experience I wouldn't recommend this doctor ever ..I really wish I had seen other bad reviews on other sites about this doctor being a butcher not a plastic surgeon

VERY HONEST & GENUINE DOCTOR!!! I consulted with Dr Azul 6 years ago for a tummy tuck. He told me to lose weight, stop smoking, and to make sure that my husband and I were done having children. I didnt like what he had to say! I went to another Doctor in Houston who said not to worry about my BMI, social smoking, and pregnancy. I spent half the money and got my procedure done. My incision opened up, I got an infection, and I missed so much work that I was fired from my job.My Family Doctor sent me to see Dr Azul for my complications. I had the opportunity to meet Dr Jaffer 10 years ago when he first came to Houston. I was so impressed by his knowledge and the way he made me feel comfortable. At the time I was not able to get the procedure done. But over the years I always remember him. I turned 50 this year and I decided to get a tummy tuck. I can not express my gratitude to the whole staff. I actually had the most amazing experience. On my first visit after the surgery I was afraid to look at my body. My Mom came along and when the bandages where removed she teared up. When I looked in the mirror I started to cry. I was so happy at the way my body looked. Even with the swelling there was very little bruising. Even the incisionwas not bad at all. I thought I would be in a lot of pain. I was not , actuallyI was only sore. I was up walking around. I was driving after 10 days. It's my fourth week and I feel great. Still a little bit swollen, but I can see the hourglass look of my waist. I will definitely be bikini ready 2020. I had a Breast Lift and Augmentation done -and perfected- by Dr. Jaffer in December 2019. I will be honest by saying I didnt do a lot of research before making my appointment. I knew what I wanted and found Azul's by simply just driving by his beautiful office building. I then had asked a few friends for references and his name had come up in a few conversations with only positive things mentioned. When I finally decided it was time, I inquired online and Judy responded almost immediately. From that first conversation up until writing this review (six weeks post-surgery) I am fully convinced I made the right decision to work with Dr. Jaffer and his team. Every detail was explained and illustrated so I knew all my options and why my procedure was simply the best for me. The only matter not discussed was that although, he and his team made it very clear I would need help for several weeks post-surgery, we didnt address that my friends and family would have to shave my under arms for me. The favor I may never live down. The facility he used for the procedure was great and you can tell the staff value his work and truly enjoy working with him. My concerns, wants and needs have all been handled with care and I have never once felt as though I wasnt going to be taking care of. PLEASE READ!! I had a breast augmentation in 2014 (different surgeon) that went brilliantly. Unfortunately, very soon after I began to fall ill with a variety of different ailments that could not be properly diagnosed due to the fact that my blood work kept coming back completely normal. Very recently it was brought to my attention that my implants may be causing my illnesses, that now included Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis. After doing some research I realized that Breast Implant Illness very real and very difficult to diagnose as there are no tests for it. However, there are a long list of symptoms that matched mine perfectly and I decided to call Dr. Jaffer to discuss removing my implants. Jessica and Judy were very compassionate and caring. They scheduled me for a consult very quickly. Dr. Jaffer listened and actually talked through the issues and what I could expect after the surgery. Judy often responded to my weird questions after business hours, and made herself available for whatever I needed. After surgery, they checked in to make sure everything was going well, they continued to make themselves available when I needed to drop in to check my sutures, and have helped tremendously in every way. Even just a week out of surgery, the staff (who barely know) me can see an improvement in how I move, my energy level, and mood. I can't say enough how appreciative I am of Dr. Jaffer, Judy, and Jessica. They were all so caring and helpful. I haven't felt this healthy and well for almost six years. Thank you so much!

Do I have Lymphoma from breast implants?Pain and swelling of a breast led me to Dr Jaffer. After having implants done a few years ago I knew there might be an exchange procedure in my future but never did i guess suspicion of cancer would be the reason. From my reading, there is a new breast implant associated lymphoma that can occur. I went to other doctors who frankly lacked experience or seemed indifferent about my problem and was living a nightmare! Dr. Jaffer assured me he was going to do everything possible to help me. Surgery was completed and i am fine! It has been a godsend to find Dr Jaffer and his wonderful staff!

My 45th Birthday . So on October 10, 2019, I made a life changing decision! I decided to proceed with having a tummy tuck 3 days after my birthday. I came to Dr Jaffer a year ago, I had a keloid on my right ear. I was told that theres a 5% of it coming back if we did it at the hospital setting, and if it showed any form of coming back to come ASAP and we can do an injection to stop it from growing immediately, I even asked how much it would be for me if it does come back in the future, dr informed me to not worry about it, making us feel that he 100% guaranteed his work. So after surgery I wasnt too satisfied of how it looked it was still visible. Within a month it was already coming back. I came back for the shot and it still was growing. Then the first month I found out I was pregnant I called about my ear that its still growing. He said I had to wait until after I have the baby and no longer breastfeeding. I went last week and now I have to pay to do the same procedure I got last year also said it was because of my hormones being pregnant but it was growing back way before I got pregnant. So now most likely have to deal with the same issue I had before coming in to him the first time because we definitely cant afford the procedure now that I have a baby in my life.

CO2 laser resurfacing is amazing! I consulted Dr. Jaffer about CO2 and he said I could expect an excellent result. He was absolutely right. I had the CO2 laser procedure 6 days ago and am astounded at the fantastic results! I am 71 years old, so I was concerned about healing and recovery time. My concerns were unwarranted. My skin has healed beautifully. After just 4 days I felt comfortable venturing out of my home. This is the best thing I have ever done for my skin. I had a nasty gash on my shin caused by an encounter with a set of metal steps at the park where I go to work out. It required 8 stitches from urgent care and then another visit due to an infection. When it just would not heal, I was referred to Dr. Jaffer by my primary physician due to his extensive knowledge of wound care and extended issues. Explained dangers, things I should and should not do, and importantly put me on a protocol (no more antibiotics) which promoted healing. His staff is excellent. Highly recommend - if I ever have plastic surgery, he will be my choice.

From the moment I contacted Azul Plastic Surgery, Ive been blown away. The amount of warmth that everyone in the office shows, while still maintaining professionalism, is amazing. They were able to take my vision of what I wanted my body to look like, and make it a reality. I knew from the initial conversation on the phone with Lisette that I would be in great hands. She was only a quick text away at ANY TIME, willing to answer questions and put me at ease. Jessica has consistently been a sweet smiling face and has made scheduling a breeze! Dr. Jaffer has a very soft and gentle nature and when I was very nervous the morning of my surgery, he made sure my nerves were all settled before going in to the OR. I woke up after surgery and felt great! I only needed meds for the first 2 days, and then recovery was a breeze! I have been to two post op appointments and I can honestly say that I have never been happier with the way I look. Azul Plastic Surgery gave me back what I lost after two kids, and I will be forever thankful for them!

My experience with Dr. Azul was AMAZING!! He is literally the most attentive doctor with the best bedside manner of all time. The entire office staff is great. We never waited long, they answer at all times. I had a breast reduction around new years and Dr. Azul and Judy responded to us on New Years Eve around midnight. I have never had such a positive experience with a doctor before. And the work is amazing!! Like I said I had a breast reduction and I am incredibly pleased with the results. I wish Dr. Azul could be my doctor for everything! I would recommend the entire world go to him. Not one negative experience ever.
