Dr. Howland is top notch! I had a breast augmentation last year and I'm extremely happy with my results. They look perfect! The scar is very very faint and I think will get even lighter overtime. I have very fair skin so I was worried about scarring. The surgery itself was painless. I was worried I wouldn't have feeling after in certain areas but I do which I'm really happy about. All of the staff are more than happy to help answer any questions you may have and make you feel comfortable. Going under the knife can be nerve wrecking but Dr. Howland helps ease any nerves you may have.

Left suture in my finger, and didn't care about leaving it in there. Didn't give me follow up papers for a follow up appointment but blamed it on the hospital instead of taking responsibility. Had Dr. Howland call me while I'm in pain begging me repeatedly. Easily so most pathetic thing I've seen from a healthcare 'professional' or someone who's in there late 40s. I made a deal and agreement with Dr. Howland that I wasn't going to give a 1 star review and I'm still honoring it. I'm choosing to be seen my a more experienced plastic surgeon. If Dr. Howland doesn't leave me or my case alone or add to my situation in the slightest a 1 star review update and BBB filing will be the least of his worries.

Dr. Howland has changed my life. After weight loss surgery I lost over 270lbs and had a lot of loose skin to address. At my first consult he sat down with me and made a game plan for getting the best possible result. Ive now had both my surgeries and am SO happy with how things have gone. Dr. Howland is an absolute perfectionist; a trait Im grateful for in my plastic surgeon. His office staff has become like a second family at this point, and everyone in the OR made me feel so comfortable and cared for on my surgery days. Dr. Howland and his staff are always exceptional. I had a breast augmentation surgery done by him in 2018. When I had a hernia that was protruding out of diastasis recti, I knew exactly where to go. Dr. Howland was able to repair the hernia, sew my upper abdominal muscles back together AND remove the shelf of skin that was caused by my previous 4 c-sections. I could not be happier with the results!I am an active person and I know that by having this surgery it is going to make me stronger. Our abdominal muscles are supposed to be together, not separated! Ladies, if you're struggling, with your diastasis after having children, give him a call. It is not about vanity, it is about healing your body!I cannot recommend Dr. Howland enough.

I not sure how my first review has disappeared....I had a chin lift. It has been a nightmare. I have swollen glands that have not gone away it's been over a year. Dr Howland agreed to do the surgery again but there is no way I was going to let him do surgery on me again. I have lost all feeling in my neck and ears. Was never told this was something that could happen The lift has given me what looks like a hole in my chin! it was the biggest waste of money ever. What good is it of a doctor offers to redo a surgical procedure that they could get right the first time. He should have refunded my money so I could have fixed what he did to me. Over a year later and still having Terrible symptoms Like no feeling and inching that is out of control due to nerve damage. He is a nice guy but a horrible surgeon.

I just had my second procedure with Dr. Howland. I would recommend him to everyone. All of my interactions with him have been very positive and his staff is impeccable. They all are very understanding and caring and really take the time you need to make sure you feel comfortable and knowledgeable about each part of the process. Dr. Howland and his staff have been welcoming, respectful, patient, attentive, through, and have made my overall experience wonderful. They have answered every single question Ive had and provided me with all of the information I needed, and I never felt rushed or forced into any decisions. The procedure was affordable and there were no hidden costs or fees. They all have an excellent bedside manner. The surgery went great and my recovery has gone much more quickly than anticipated. There were no complications or issues. I was in and out quickly on the day of and everything was explained to me in advance. I was given plenty of informational materials about the procedure, potential risks and complications, recovery, sizing, accommodations, medications, etc. They made a potentially scary experience very easy. Im so grateful to them for taking such good care of me. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to have work done :).

Most amazing to me was the fact that I needed no narcotic pain medication after surgery. None. Dr. Howland's regimen of the exparel block combined with celebrex after surgery worked so well. I also appreciate the results of my surgery. I worried he might not take enough tissue. But he assured me that the end result would be a natural looking balance with the rest of my body . I had a re-agmentation with a lift. I was extremely nervous because my first argumentation (preformed by another Dr.) turned out horrible within the first 6 months. Dr. Howland listened to my every concern and talked me through the process of what I needed. Dr. Howland and his employees are beyond phenomenal. I was a less typical patient as I was referred to Dr. Howland for a fingertip amputation from a dog bite.I have to admit, seeing my referral from the ER to a plastic surgeon made me initially uncomfortable. I'm not someone you'd typically see in a plastic surgery office, not that I wouldn't go to one.. but it's not exactly in my financial reach. That being said, the waiting area appearance was great. I felt welcomed the minute I walked in and I liked the options of snacks they had available for the wait. As soon as I was brought back I was greeted by the most welcoming and nice employees and all my worries about not fitting in went right away. They made sure I was comfortable and were so caring. Then meeting Dr. Howland just continued that comfortable and caring feeling the staff gave me. He was very professional but friendly. Once they got my finger numbed, they cleaned it up gently but effectively. Dr. Howland gave me choices to how I wanted to proceed with my finger which was between amputating it right there in office with just the numbing stuff or coming back a different day and being put to sleep and my finger being tacked to my palm for 3 weeks which would restore a lot of the skin tissue I was missing and make my finger as close to back to normal as possible. Wanting the use of my finger asap, I chose the amputation in office. It took maybe 20 minutes to do and I'm on week 6 of my healing and couldn't be happier. It looks way better than I expected it would. I have almost full use of it, granted its a bit shorter. The check ups I've heard since have been just as positive and welcoming. Dr. Howland even reccomended a clinic to me that does affordable prosthetics if I wanted to get one for my finger. I'd reccomend Dr. Howland and his staff time and time again to anyone needing any type of cosmetic surgery or amputation or anything. They know what they are doing and are great at it.

Let's be honest, surgery is a scary thing since you never know what will happen while it's getting done. Dr. Howland and his staff from the start to finish have been amazing. I been looking into getting a reduction since I found out that my insurance will cover it since my back pain and shoulder pain are no joke. Dr. Howland is amazing in the aspect of that he laid everything out to me saying, that I could have issues as I get older or the risk of what will happen during or after the surgery. It was all there black and white and I knew the risk of getting it done. When people said that I'm 'blessed' to have natural DD, I wasn't happy at all since I was always hurting. From the first appointment to the surgery to all the follow up visit, I have no complaints whatsoever. Everyone is sweet as they can be and nice as they can be. I'm so glad that he was my surgeon for the start of my new journey. I know, if anyone ask, I'll be giving them his number since I can't be happier with the results!

Im so thankful thats Dr. Howland was available to do my breast lift and augmentation. When I scheduled my consultation I had been looking for a surgeon for 4 years to fix my breasts after 100lb weight loss plus three nursed babies. (I was a hot mess!). I felt extremely comfortable with him from the very moment I met him. His bedside manor is fantastic, he was very understanding/empathetic and showed that he genuiney cares about his patients through the entire process starting from the first handshake all the way through each followup appointment. Actions speak louder than words and he made himself available via phone and or appointments for any questions that arised. I've had an amazing experience with Dr Howland, and now consider him and his nurses great friends. I went to see Dr Howland for a breast reduction, after I'd had a reduction about 15 years ago that was botched and was causing me a lot of discomfort and confidence issues.Dr Howland and team were very sensitive and understanding, I didnt feel uncomfortable at all, but they also set very realistic expectation of what it would take to correct a botched procedure, but made me feel so comfortable and confident that we'd get through it together and I'd be happy.I did need almost 3 months of post surgery follow-ups because I was slow to heal, but I had 100% support from Dr Howland and his team. I was texting with them day and night from all over the world on my business trips, and always getting immediate responses to help me through moments of uncertainty and concerns. They let me visit the clinic for a face-to-face whenever I needed help or reassurances that everything was going ok, and I never got any push back or the feeling that I was inconveniencing them. They geniunely cared how I was feeling and what support I needed.I'm now 3 months post-opp, I've had a longer than usual healing cycle but I am so so happy with the results, and I wouldnt hesitate to do it all over again. My results look great, a massive massive improvement, I feel more comfortable, I am more active and much less stressed out.I wouldnt hesitate to recomment Dr Howland and his team at any point in time.
