I recently had one breast removed because of cancer. After my surgeon finished her job removing everything inside my breast, Dr. Mountcastle swooped in and reconstructed with an implant and, as I heal, its looking just like my other breast. Really really happy with his work. Would recommend him to anyone who needs a plastic surgeon!

He performed an umbilical hernia repair on me a few years back leaving no scar and did not use the dreaded mesh. This was a check-up and all is perfect. I highly recommend him.

Beyond impressed! Had a minor surgery- excision of old mole/ scar tissue. The outcome was unbelievable. No scars! I was actually ok with some scar as it would be ideally linear and smaller than the original more noticeable circular scars. But literally cant see a thing and its only one week post op. Not to mention the whole process was so fast and almost painless. No swelling, almost no pain after other than mild tenderness. He had good bedside manner but got to the point and was very efficient. Lovely office and support staff was super friendly. Best experience with a cosmetic procedure ever! Ive never really been bothered to write reviews but since it was such a great experience had to leave one. Also shout out to the nurse who assisted and removed sutures- very personable young woman. I now can finally live my life without the burden of blemishes on my face that used to antagonize me.

I was referred to the Mountcastle practice by the physical therapist who has been treating me following two foot surgeries and a full knee replacement. The therapist noted swelling in my lower legs and thought that I would benefit from custom-fit socks. She prepared a referral form and specifically noted the need for compression socks.When making the appointment I was advised that they would do an ultrasound to check the blood flow in my legs to rule out circulation issues as a cause of the swelling. After completing paperwork, I was seen by a P.A. who discussed the procedure and possible follow-up depending on the results. The ultrasound was completed, and, after a short wait, I was advised there were no circulation issues. I was told I could leave. At that point I inquired about compression socks. Even though it was indicated on the referral form the P.A. seemed surprised by the request. She told me I could pick up a pair at a local pharmacy or purchase a pair at the receptionist desk. I asked about measurements at which the point the P.A. measured the circumference of my left calf. She told me I should purchase size C. No other measurements. No discussion of options; benefits; nothing.While I was pleased to learn that my leg veins were not an issue, I was disappointed by the indifference to the issue that brought me there. Never did see Doctor Mountcastle.

Amazing!!! Back in September I decided to get a breast reduction surgery and after doing my research and talking to Dr. Mountcastle before when my husband had his surgery I knew he was the one. There are a lot of plastic surgeons out there but Dr. Mountcastle made me feel comfortable he is very nice, friendly and his work is amazing. He spent the time and explained everything about the process so I was able to understand the expectation of the overall procedure. Staff was amazing too! Before and after surgery they were very nice, friendly and helpful as well. They called and checked on me after surgery and any questions I had they called back in a promptly manner. I cannot be more happy with my results. He literally changed my life and I cant thank him enough.

I have no idea how this office got such great reviews?!! This place is a total mess and the work that was done on my skin cancer removal left an ugly scar. My first introduction to this office was in the waiting area where the women behind the desk were bad mouthing the doctor...seriously? !!T he doctor then came out and had an argument with one of them in one of the rooms loud enough for the waiting room to hear. When I went back to the room for the surgery, the doctor was talking outside with one of the assistants/nurses about the other troublemakers..?. UNPROFESSIONAL. POOR BOUNDARIES (who's in charge over there?!) SHODDY WORK. There are many other plastic surgeons to choose from...go elsewhere.
