Receptionists were all very helpful and I didnt have to wait to be helped.Dental hygienist answered all my questions and was thorough. Dentist informed me of a procedure that my child will need. He explained clearly how they can help my child be more comfortable at that time. Would recommend

I had originally placed a call to the Lake Geneva location but was somehow transferred to the racine line. The woman who answered the phone told me to hold one moment so I did. It was a very unpleasant and unprofessional phone call for a few select reasons. The first being that she never put me on hold but still had the phone up to her ear as she was talking with other patients which made it confusing as to when she was actually speaking to me. Once she was ready for my Info she Interrupted me mid sentence almost everytime I tried to respond to her questions. She had asked me for my phone number by the end of the phone call, but had already recieved my last name and had it pulled up on her computer, I asked her if there was a number In my account that was pulled up that she could use and she replied with 'yea, but I'm like dealing with 2 other phone calls right now and there are 7 people in line I need to take care of.' If you are that busy, please leave me on hold until you are available to calmly and professionally help me. I understand things are chaotic and busy right now. I do not mind the wait but the flustered rudeness I could have definitely done without. I had asked her name and she replied with Jenny but also said she could not give out her last name which I am okay with. Anyway, I just did not feel very great about the experience I had.

I wanted to share my very positive experience with Dr. Scott Munro, including his complete staff. It is extremely difficult these days to find a medical doctor/dentist which provides excellent medical advice, great service, and does great work. His complete staff is top notch, very caring and genuinely supportive of your dental needs. They work at a new modern dental building also. I have been there less than a year, and am very happy. I highly recommend Racine Dental Group.

As one who doesn't necessarily hate the dentist, I don't love it either. But today I was seen by Dr. Leah Johnson and her hygienist, Nichole. Nichole was so easy to talk to, gentle, and very personable. She took my x-rays with ease and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Dr. Leah was also very helpful, answered all of my questions, and worked through my options for my care in a very clear manner. I had a great experience with everyone I met - there's no reason to hate going to the dentist at Racine Dental Group :)

Dr. Johnson is phenomenal. She gave me one of the quickest extractions I've ever experienced in my life. Even in my previous visit, that was the hardest extraction I've had physically, but Leah and Lisa were great. They made sure I knew what was going on. Kept me calm and even tried to make me laugh.

Racine dental is super clean, modern, and overall a nice environment. But I went in for cavity filling & ended up with a cracked tooth somehow. Despite telling my dentist something wasnt right, he kept saying he sees nothing wrong & sending me away. No X-rays or anything. The prices are pretty high as well. Even with insurance (& I have pretty decent insurance) I had to pay $250 for three cavity fillings. Additionally, every time I go, I end up waiting 30-45 minutes to see the doctor. I had an apt at 8am & didnt leave until 9:30. Luckily my work is understanding. I ended up going to a new dentist and more than likely wont be coming back to Racine dental.

Outstanding dental practice, I came here in severe pain and in need many procedures, and the staff (specifically Dr. Ashley Berghuis) have brought me back to having a healthy mouth and smile. This has literally been the LEAST painful dental experience of my life, and i have RDG to thank for that. 5 stars for the talented doctors, surgeons, and assistants!

Like other reviews state, do not go here for extractions. The place is clean with very friendly staff. However, the dentist told me I needed teeth extracted and the soonest oral surgery consultation is a THREE MONTH WAIT. Thats just for a consultation, not the extraction itself. Such a shame, I would have loved to become a new patient but three months is just ridiculous.

Being nervous about this, I decided to visit Racine Dental Group (the practice I went to while living in Racine years ago) to see if they could temporarily adhere it back in. If you ever have had an infected tooth you understand the level of pain that accompanies this, what's even worse is when it hits on a Friday night or a Saturday morning when its impossible to get emergency care from your dentist, it usually ends up being several days of suffering until you can even make a phone call to your dentist, then of course it will be several days before they will get you in or do anything for you.I had the unfortune of dealing with this, I called around to several dentists that claim to have emergency service, it is now Sunday afternoon and still have not heard anything from anybody. I decided to call Racine Dental Group and I cant say enough good things about them, they had me scheduled for an appointment within 2 hrs of my calling, the staff is unbelievably accommodating, the facility is spotless, and the dentist I seen was incredible, she had me in and out the door within an hour, she was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and very good at what she does, (guess that's why she had awards hanging on the wall in her procedure room).Dr. Ashley and her assistant were amazing...I left and felt so much better after she took care of me that almost all of the pain was gone by the time they were done, Incredible is all I can say.I also have to mention that I was planning on paying dearly for a Saturday emergency appointment, their prices were not inflated or any type of emergency rate charged, in fact after calling several other dentists previously their prices are much more reasonable for their services than any other dentists in Racine County.Whether you need emergency care or just a very good dentist, I highly recommend calling them for all your dentistry needs, you wont be disappointed.

I have been a patient at Racine Dental since it's beginning. First with Dr. Donovan then Dr. Scherer. I have always been very satisfied with the service I've received. Dr. Scherer is professional, kind, sensitive to my needs and so pleasant! My hygienist is Maggie and she too is excellent in my care. Michelle always shows kindness and explains what will be done, which I find reassuring. My visit today was exemplary! I've never experienced anything negative. All employees are helpful and pleasant. Kudos to the best dental clinic in Racine!!

My entire family goes to Racine Dental - and would highly recommend. My son recently had braces put on and Dr. Jay and his staff (Shauna) were amazing with him. Great experience!My only 'frustration' is that they do not have a 'central schedule' line OR online scheduling. With such a large practice, it is frustrating when I call for an appointment (for adult) that if my particular dentist's staff is not in office there is no one else available to schedule a routine appointment.

I had the best experience here. 2/2 times that Ive been to this dentist office, Ive had the same dentist. Dr. Johnson & her dental assistant Lisa are two of the greatest people Ive ever dealt with. They really know how to make you feel welcome, and calm & collected when you need dental work done. Ive had 2 extractions done by Dr. Johnson and both times she made it where I didnt feel a single thing. No pain & no pressure. It was the most amazing dental experience Ive ever had. I cant thank them both enough for the work they have done for me so far. Cant wait to go back for my cleanings and further dental work with both of them. I highly recommend everyone to go here.

Difficult to get phone calls returned. Seems to have a high turn-over rate with dentists & hygienists. Last visit the hygienist used a power tool to remove tartar. Teeth didn't feel as clean as before. Dentist never came in to check teeth or even to say hello.

The psychological trauma my son and I experienced after our visit is something I will never be able to fix. The use of a papoose board on a child who clearly was in pain is downright barbaric. I have since had 2 pediatric dentists confirm novacaine indeed does not work on my son, however RDGs answer was not to understand that my child was not numb, but to finish the appointment by restraint. The complete lack of detail is not only unprofessional, its inhumane and unethical. I was charged nearly double out of pocket what I should have, was told I would be reimbursed from insurance (this is absolutely not a practice in insurance, and Delta Dental was mortified by this), however I was promptly reimbursed by RDG after calling. I will give you one star for that. The hygienist I saw was impersonal and rude, however front desk staff was great, and the office is in fact a beautiful and clean venue. I will not be a returning patient, and will suggest otherwise to peers.

A great experience from beginning to end! I had been with the same dental group since childhood (I'm now 37). I had heard great things about Dr. Johnson so I thought I'd go for my next check up with her! From scheduling and receiving new patient forms in the mail, to new patient check-in, my awesome hygienist (loved Melissa!), having x-rays done from my chair before my cleaning, taking a photo of a 'watch' from a pen camera, vibration cleansing for tough spots, Dr. Johnson's knowledge and demeanor, and a program for another cleaning this year (I do not have dental insurance) and easy payment after my appointment.. everything was WONDERFUL!! I am so happy I made the switch!!! I would highly recommend scheduling with Dr. Johnson and her team!

I went in to set up an appointment for wisdom teeth removal. (After my original consultation with the oral surgeon) I couldn't even schedule a day to have the procedure until I paid a down payment of over $900. They said this is how much was left to pay after insurance. I went ahead and paid the down payment (which I put on my credit card) and scheduled the appointment. The earliest I could get in was Jan of 2019. The next day I called my insurance company and they informed me that they have never heard of having a patient make a down payment that large for a procedure that wouldn't be happening for months, and also said that they could cover way over what I was told at the dentist office. I should have only needed to pay around $50 for the ENTIRE procedure. This was a huge red flag so I called Racine Dental to cancel my appointment. They said they would send me a check for my reimbursement. Fast forward to almost a month later and I still have no check from Racine Dental. So today, I called not once, not twice, but SIX times to get a hold of someone to give me some information about when I will receive my check. Then I was informed that whoever I spoke to about canceling my appointment never took it off their books, which is why I never received the check. I was then told that the money could be put right back onto my card without having to wait around for the check to come. I don't understand why they wouldn't have done this from the beginning when I first had called to cancel. Racine Dental is unorganized and don't care about their patients. All they want is money and will even scam you into getting it. I have switched my dentist and won't ever return.

First the good. I have had all of my lifetime dental work done here (42 years) and have had only one occasion when I wasnt satisfied, which was promptly and professionally addressed. They are the best dental group in Racine without question. If you have insurance, everyone is very friendly and accommodating. If you dont have insurance, as I discovered after a recent divorce resulted in a lapse in mine, there is a slightly different approach taken to patient care. Before any work that has been diagnosed will progress, while seated in pain in the chair, you have to commit to paying whatever it will cost that day. If you cannot afford it, they will send you on your way and let you live in pain and discomfort. Note the emphasis on patient care because that is supposedly what dentistry is all about. I found this to be a cold and heartless strategy inconsistent with the level of altruism normally associated with medical care. All that being said, my tooth is fixed and fixed well so I am happy.

I was having a dental emergency, with seriously agonizing pain late in the night, called up to try to get in to get seen, the only listed emergency 24hr dentist in the area according to google search. Woman on the line treated me like trash. How dare you offer 24hr emergency service, when you cannot even use the service unless you're a current customer? This is NOT the way to operate. Especially operate a Dental Clinic. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely heartless treatment of someone in agony.
