Love, love, love Dr. Turkeltaub and his team. My daughter (age 17) had a breast reduction. Not only are her results amazing, but the entire experience was as well. Dr. T listened to her needs and concerns and made her feel valued and important. He is a true professional, very funny and has the best bedside manner. I would definitely recommend him! Shannon, his assistant is top notch too. She eased our minds throughout the process and explained every detail to us. Thanks to the entire team!

I initially chose to see Dr. Turkeltaub because he was one of the very few local surgeons who could perform a bilateral mastectomy. But BOY did I make the right decision. I'm currently 5 weeks post op. Dr. Turkeltaub and those in his office have made this experience so smooth. From the moment I scheduled my consultation they have been highly attentive, kind, reassuring and have been willing to answer the gazillion questions I've had along the way.From a technical standpoint, my procedure and recovery have been so clean and accurate to the timeline they originally estimated. My scars are razor thin and looking more even and natural every day. The followup care I've experienced has been reassuring and they've allowed me to schedule unexpected followup appointments just because I wanted to make sure everything was okay. They've been incredibly patient and professional and I couldn't recommend a better or more qualified surgeon.

He is very professional and great bedside manner. I love, love, love the results and recovery is as expected for 5 months post-op. I like that he continues to follow you for a year. Dr. Turkeltaub did a closure for my MOHS surgery on my nose. This is my third time with this type of surgery and the first time with Dr. T. What a difference!! I had no swelling, no pain, no black eyes. After I totally heal I will have no noticable scar. He's an amazing surgeon. I also really like his personality, he's very professional and funny. I would recommend him to anyone. His nursing staff is also great. They always took time to answer my questions in great detail.

I would highly recommend Dr. Turkeltaub to anyone! I am only 3 days post op but had to remove my bandages and wrapping for the first time today in his office for my 1st follow up and I will say just like anyone else, only 3 days after surgery you probably aren't expecting to see results already,with that being said, the results I saw today I expected to see by 2 weeks after surgery or maybe by the 3rd or 4th week to be honest. I had no bruising and very minimal swelling! And to be honest it turned out to be everything I expected and wanted with top surgery..and to know my results will only keep getting better because I am not even a week yet post op is an amazing feeling. Top surgery is truly a life changing and a life saving surgery and I am very grateful and impressed with Dr.Turkeltaub and the results he has given to me because for the first time in over15 yrs I finally have self confidence and self esteem which I Haven't had since a teenager. From day 1 at my consultation I knew I would be in great hands with him being my surgeon and setting realistic expectations and being transparent with me. Surgery day was nerve racking only because of going under and the anesthesia part, otherwise he made it less stressful with talking and his jokes and he made me feel again that I was in great hands with him. I had no doubts I had chosen the best surgeon to provide me with the best results possible. He is a great and amazing doctor that provides amazing results and I can't thank him enough for his skills and expertise and experience.. His team at the hsptl was great as well (his nurses were friendly and nice and and professional and humble and his anesthesiologist M.D. was also kind hearted and funny and had a good sense of humor and lightened up the stress for anesthesia for me but was also very professional. Shannon at the office is amazing as well and was gentle taking off the bandages and was nice from day one and she's also comforting and very positive and professional and makes you feel welcomed and makes you feel comfortable and that you will be taken care of by her. Also, Savannah has been nothing but amazing and great throughout my recovery process and during my regular follow up visits and always answers any questions and all questions I have and has helped me make my recovery as easy and simple as possible! Both Savannah and Shannon make you feel comfortable and both have a welcoming approach. Also,Nelly in the front has always been great as well and helpful for all my calls. I can't thank Dr. Turkeltaub and his team enough for this life changing surgery for me and for doing an amazing job and providing amazing results! Dr.Turkeltaub and Shannon and Savannah make you feel welcomed and are not judging and make you feel like you can be yourself because this is their end goal to make you be able to be who you are and comfortable in your own body. I would highly recommend Dr Turkeltaub for anyone out of state as well for top surgery or any surgery, you'd be in great hands with him and his team. He is a professional doctor, straight to the point and transparent with you from the start, has bed side manners and is a kind hearted person and explains everything in full detail. Dr. Turkletaub is THE best plastic surgeon in Arizona, and I consider myself truly honored to be a patient of Dr. Ts. I have been his patient for a decade now and would have it no other way! His bedside manner is very professional and he is always kind, funny and disarming, creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. He and his staff always take care to alleviate any self consciousness I may have and aid me with my known anxiety condition. He takes the time to understand my concerns and discusses with me the details prior to any procedures. His nursing staff is top notch and awesome! Shannon is a ray of sunshine! She never fails to make my day and make me feel truly cared for! She and Taylor go above and beyond in patient care and are always very professional. I have had many in-office and in-hospital procedures by Dr. T. He always delivers exceptional results and NEVER makes me look like Ive had work done his work reflects his aesthetic eye towards natural beauty, which to me is the GOLD standard!! Dr. Turkeltaub has no bedside manner. He is very cold and distant throughout the examination process. He does not do much to explain his findings and does not offer options or alternatives. He basically told me I'm too fat and not worth his time to do breast augmentation for. He said to come back when I'm skinnier and that at that time he would consider doing one. He was very dismissive about my thoughts and feelings on the situation.

I had a very negative experience with Dr Turkeltaub, and would absolutely not recommend him to anybody.Prior to my procedure, he was fairly rude and dismissive, but I wrote that off as him being busy. The day of the surgery, as I tried last-minute to impress upon him the outcomes I considered most important with my procedure, he didnt seem interested then, either. I ignored all of this because every other surgeon I spoke with said what I was looking for was very simple. Dr Turkeltaub had great reviews, and with all his experience I imagined thered be no way he could do less than great.He ended our conversation before I got on the table with Just wait, maybe youll look at it and say, this is exactly what I wanted.He then proceeded to not even attempt to do what I wanted. He did the bare minimum to make me look a bit different (not better, mind you, just different), collected the check and sent me on my way.Since then, Ive tried twice to contact the office and cannot get a response, not even for a simple post-operative care question.I know that many people have had good experiences with this surgeon, and you may too, but Id encourage you to consider if you want to risk having an experience like mine when youre choosing somebody to permanently alter your body.

Anytime I needed anything they helped me with no hassle. Shannon is great and made me feel comfortable and at ease when she was showing me how to treat my scars. Also when I was getting my drains outs;I didnt even feel a thing. You can tell she not only loves her job but cares for the patients going in. Dr. Turkeltaub is not only a great surgeon but very kind and personable. He not only made me feel comfortable but made my fiance comfortable as well. Any questions I had he answered them and that put my mind at ease. If you are a transman and looking for a great surgeon I highly recommend him. I had a brachioplasty procedure done by dr. Turkeltaub that was a disaster. I came out of surgery with a 1/2 inch opening in one arm that later opened up to a 2 1/2 wide by 2 1/ 2 deep wound. Within 2 weeks I also had developed both cellulitis and e-coli infections. Each visit to him resulted in his lack of interest in caring for the wound or noticing the infection that was there. Finally I had to visit my primary care provider for a referral to a wound care clinic. I had to have an infusion for 4 hours to try to remove the infection, along with supplemental drugs for the infection. I have to redress the wound twice a day. I was told my condition is improving, but my wound will take at least another 2 months to heal. Please take my story into consideration before having any procedures done
