Dr Hobgood is right on point with facial plastic surgery. He takes his time and treats you like you want to be treated. He listens to what you have to say and is totally honest and up front. It's probably not often a person can credit a plastic surgeon with saving their life but that is precisely what I thanked Dr. Hobgood for today. It was his keen eye that detected a blemish on my face for which he recommended I see a dermatologist, for further evaluation. Good thing as my subsequent biopsy was positive for melanoma that appears to have been caught in an early stage. Had it not been for his accurate observation, my outcome would likely have been far less favorable. He and his staff - Ashley, Amy, everyone - have consistently been kind and supportive, running an efficient and caring practice down to providing excellent recommendations in specialties when needed.

It is a good place to be when work does not feel like work. Dr. Hobgood and staff have that aura to them. The consultation was not rushed and Dr. Hobgood answered all of my questions. I felt good in my decision in wanting mentoplasty, and was suggested which size would go with my facial structure. I was even allowed to place the implant on my chin to see what it would look like if I chose to proceed. It would be a step up in his practice to offer computer generated projected results in addition to before and after photos. I had chosen Dr. Hobgood due to his awesome bedside manner, superb staff, and I felt comfortable going under his care.

Just 9 days post op from rhinoplasty and my nose is definitely better. my face definitely looks more attractive than before. My tip is still swollen though so I'm waiting a few months to measure how well I reached my goal of having a really defined tip but so far everything else is what I asked for and wanted. I believe the tip will be correct too but it takes time for the swelling to go down. My profile is great now. So just waiting on the frontal view. Hobgood surgery was a good experience and his price is totally fair. Edit: so it's been about 8 months since surgery and I'm very satisfied with how things turned out. Been doing the steroid injections that are done sometimes after a nose job to help reduce tip swelling and it seems to help. I'll probably be getting another one of the injections at my next follow up as well.

I had surgery in July to fix a deviated septum and collapsed nasal canal. The office staff was responsive and very accommodating with completing paperwork. Dr. Hobgood and his staff are talented, intelligent and honest medical professionals. He is transparent and was more excited about the procedure than I was at 1st. Everything he said I should anticipate after the surgery I experienced. This is the best I have been able to breathe and only regret was not connecting with Dr. Hobgood and his team sooner. I would highly encourage anyone to at least meet with the team if you are planning a surgery or have trouble breathing through your nose. You will not be disappointed!

I spent ~6 months researching rhinoplasty before deciding to move forward. Based on that research, Dr. Hobgood was the first surgeon I consulted with, and I decided to move forward with him after the consultation. He went into detail about the anatomy of the nose, and mine specifically, and set expectations about what would be a realistic outcome for me.The biggest concern I had was that my nose wasn't completely awful before the procedure, and I didn't want to have the surgery and mess up the harmony of my face. I'm 2 months post-op, and I'm so glad I moved forward, as Dr. Hobgood dramatically improved my nose while maintaining a natural appearance for my face.I had very little pain or bruising following the procedure. I had a minor concern a couple days after surgery and texted Dr. Hobgood late in the evening and he kindly got back to me right away to assure me it was completely normal. He is a first class surgeon who really cares about his patients, and the rest of his team is just as kind and caring. I highly recommend him!

Its true when they say, hobgood NOSE best!! When I walked in for my consultation, he made it seem like we knew each other for years! It was so nice because I didnt have to tell him what I wanted done about my nose, he knew exactly what needed to be done. He spent so much time with me during my consult and completely explained all options for my facelift procedure. I am quite averse to surgery, but I came to terms that my Fraulein was going to get augmentation. I also performed my own research for her facial plastic surgeon from multiple sources, and Dr. Hobgood was amongst the top specialist mentioned. The office visits were surprisingly fantastic, filled with an abundance of information to ponder upon, and bedside manner satisfactory. I felt that he was a prime choice, and my fears subsided. The surgery center was sparkling clean, and Dr Hobgood's bedside manner was very enthusiastic and pleasant. Surgery day was uneventful in regards to adversity, and ended with a drugged but happy client. Recovery is still in progress and the results so far are amazing.Update 06/03/2020: Results are AMAZING!! It took some time for the swelling to go down for full effect. No post procedure infection. Fortunately my Fraulein was not a keloid former and scarring was very minimal. The silicone scar 'tape' and topical cream available in office helped significantly during the healing process. I forgot to mention that the office staff are super friendly. If you are on the fence on facial augmentation or which doctor to choose, look no further. Dr Hobgood met all expectations and then some. Totally worth the transformation.

Any nerves I had regarding my surgery were diminished once he came into the room. He is extremely detailed and I left my consultation appointment feeling very well informed and confident that he would be able to improve the function and appearance of my nose. Recovery was better than expected. I had little to no pain and minimal bruising which was shocking to me as there was a lot that had to be done. I mostly just had swelling and extreme sinus pressure which went away once the cast was removed. Im only a little over a month post-op but Im already extremely happy with my results.
