Dr Praful Ramineni has been amazing. His whole team is great. A year ago I went there for something completely different and ended up not doing it. I then came across an app and this lady mention that he does body implant (funny how things work). I ended up meeting up with him and this time I was ready. Since it was my first surgery, I had loads of questions and let me tell you, I was emailing them left and right and they responded. On the day of my surgery everyone was nice, it went pretty fast. If you want a natural look I recommend him. Would keep you updated.

I worked with Dr. Ramineni and his team for two years (two surgeries + follow-up) and I am so grateful to them for not only the results they have produced but their welcoming and friendly attitudes. Dr. Ramineni is incredibly available and quick to reply to questions--and I have had many!--and so is the rest of his team. Dr. Ramineni was very accommodating of my unusual/nonbinary path of transition and did not try to force unwanted procedures on me, and was also very understanding of my circumstances traveling from out of town. It was very easy to work with the office as a self-pay patient for my first surgery, and they were also invaluable at helping me navigate insurance for my second. (Dr. Ramineni understands the challenges of having transition-related care covered by insurance.) The GW surgical teams were also amazing! As pleasant an experience as surgery can be. :)

Dr. Ramineni and his staff are awesome. The front desk staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. His on staff dermatologist Katie is very thorough and knowledgeable about her work. Dr. Ramineni has selected a great staff that compliments him and his business extremely well. Dr. Ramineni is confident and also very Knowledgeable about his work which makes a relatively new patient like myself feel very comfortable. Everything is explained in detail and he is always open to questions. I gave four stars only because I am somewhat of a new customer. Otherwise I highly recommend Dr. Ramineni for your cosmetic needs.

Seriously, stop researching all these doctors and just make the appointment with Dr. Ramineni. Do it, now ! After 4 consultation around northern VA, I knew as I soon as I was done talking with him that he was the doctor for me. I had a TT and Breast Aug. done Feb 2020, and I couldnt be happier. And I promise you, if theres a issue afterwards or you even think something needs tweaked, he will fix it. He is a doctor is his 5 star reviews , not a bad one to be found . He his a 5 star doctor!!!!! He is the Best Of the Best !!!!!!!!!His staff, his whole team, the whole office are absolutely amazing, so patient ( I asked million questions/same ones multiple times ) , so polite, professional, and make you feel comfortable every visit.

This doctor is absolutely amazing! The staff from the front desk, to the coordinator, and the PA! Best experience Ive had so far. I had my surgery this pas Tuesday (Jan 22) and I have to say everyone was so helpful! Dr. Ramineni did a great job! I am so happy with my result! I had a breast reduction which Ive always wanted since `I was 18 years old however, I had to wait a little but my breast only got bigger. Finally, I decided that it was time to do it. I am happy that I decided to go with Dr. Ramineni. The day of the surgery I was super nervous but everyone in George Washington University including Dr. Ramineni was so supportive and made the process so much easier. Thanks to Dr Ramineni for making this happen and doing such a great job! I would recommend him!

I really like Dr. Ramineni and the team at West End Plastic Surgery. There usually isn't a long wait time to see the doctor. He does talk fast and he gets in and out very quickly but he definitely will take his time to answer any questions or concerns. He has great 'bedside manners' and is easy to talk to, however, there is always the sense that he has somewhere he needs to get to. I felt comfortable with them from our initial meeting and have and would refer people to him. After my surgery, I called him on his cell phone and he answered by using my name which I thought was very cool; it made me feel even more safe and taken care of.

I visited other doctors before. But Dr. Ramineni was the chosen one for my tracheal shaving surgery. Besides his experience, he had the power to make me feel comfortable. Few people know how to treat a trans person, but he definitely was the best so far. He really talked to me and listened. He did not ask any inappropriate question. He was sweet and clear about the whole process. His team is also very nice. Chavonne was so friendly and helpful, dealing with my case with love and enthusiasm. I gave Dr. Ramineni a premature positive review due to his optimistic demeanor and his office staff's courtesy. However, the results of my surgery were traumatizing.I had a breast augmentation and abdominal liposuction with fat transfer to my face. The fat transfer to my face turned out really well, but the other 2 procedures... the liposuction on my stomach is horribly uneven after 4 months and isn't getting any better. I'm afraid to show off my stomach to anyone, and will have to get it revised (more money, yay). And my breasts... the left breast was laterally displaced significantly and the right breast had bottomed out. This was confirmed by other surgeons. Dr. Ramineni refused to acknowledge that there was a problem, but he told me that wearing a tight underwire bra would help the situation. It did not. I was also told (by other surgeons) that it doesn't work this way, and an underwire bra should not be expected to help.I had my breasts revised and now they are FINALLY symmetrical. I should point out, too, that he had used 2 different sizes of breast implants, when I actually needed the same size on both left and right.Dr. Ramineni seems like a nice guy and based on his reviews, I would guess that he is a good surgeon. But my appointments felt rushed, and I feel as if my surgery must have been rushed as well. He paid no attention to detail with my results and I paid for it with follow-up surgeries, over 20k out of pocket after all was said and done, and further recovery time.

Everyone I dealt with throughout this process has been terrific.A note on pronouns, titles, and names - not once was I misgendered by Dr. Ramineni or his staff OR the hospital staff during the surgery experience.
