I was so impressed with Dr. Somenek and his office. The lobby was open and welcoming. His front office staff went out of their way to accommodate me and make sure I was comfortable. I especially appreciated their paperless 'paperwork' - patient forms were completed on an iPad. Patient rooms were sparkling clean, as was their equipment. I felt very comfortable being treated there. Dr. Somenek's bedside manner was calm, assuring, and confident - definitely attributes you want in someone who is handling your face! He educated me on several treatment options and allowed me plenty of time to ask questions; I never felt rushed. In the end, I am more than pleased with my results and I will definitely be returning.

I had a beautiful experience with the entire staff here at Dr.Someneks office. I came in for my ear repair with Dr.Somenek which was a quick, painless, and in-out procedure of all of 35-40 minutes(consult and procedure done same day!!). After that I did a facial with Kelly. Ive already seen her twice and shes gotten my skin all the way together with those peels!! Finally I had a body consult for lipo work with Dr. Pittman! This office has everything you need! One stop shop full of amazingly friendly employees!! Its a pleasure to write a review on their behalf! Ive already recommended them via my Facebook page to 1,000s of my social media acquaintances.

He could be a lot more honest in his procedures. Disappointed but moved on to a more trusted surgeon. Dont get me wrong, hes nice and fun. Im more about results though and the latest procedure was a deal breaker, unfortunately.

I had a freak accident that led me to Dr. Somenek. The procedure was very intense and Dr. Somenek warned me it will take a very long time to heal. He was very tentative from the beginning to end. Dr. Somenek planned out every single steps from the initial procedure, check ups, and follow procedures (2 to be exact). I cannot stress enough how thankful I am to have found Dr. Somenek. He was able to fit me into his schedule and fixed my nose as early as possible. I will definitely miss all the check ups, he has a very nice office and his staff is amazing. Highly recommended.

I dont yelp, my name isnt Angie, I have no list. I have had experience with what are probably considered to be the top plastic surgeons in DC and Northern Virginia for Body Surgery. Lasers - yup. IPL, Skin Care - mmm hmmm. I read Top Docs and I pick. Ive always been pleased with the results (welllll, almost always but thats a whole other story). And yet, I have never taken the time to write a review. Life gets busy, ya know????? But I simply had to tell the world about Dr Somenak because this experience was truly the best. I always assumed if youve met one God-for-those -who-hate-excercise **ahem, ahem** I mean, skilled Plastic Surgeons, youd met them all. Not the case, my friends. Not the case. I arrived at the office relaxed, which is no small feat considering Id rather be a contestant on Naked and Afraid than drive in DC. The directions from the staff were perfect. I found the parking garage (check). NO spaces were for compact cars only (check check). I never once found myself in a life threatening head-on collision. #WINNING. I wanted a liquid facelift ..... and lets agree that anyone who says they are not as nervous as a prize turkey in November when getting a new procedure involving your FACE is fibbing. Indeed, needles and changes to your face carries a bit of uncertainty, no? Who wants to end up on Botched???!!!Anyhoo, after a very easy check in by a very professional and kind staff (with an iPad, not a sign-in sheet - check check check). Dr Somenak entered the room. The skies opened up and Angels sang....no, they didnt, but this man is just exactly what you want someone in charge of your FACE to be. He is intelligent, relaxed and it is evident he loves what he does. Innuendo: the man knows what he is doing. He had me at hello, yet I semi-listened as he explained he uses a cannula rather than a needle because it gives the best results and blah and blah. I was all in....You just TRUST this guy. You KNOW he knows what hes doing. I probably had Restalyne in my lips and Restalyne Lift in my cheeks and undereye bags. (Excuse the lack of professional terminology). And Botox on my forehead and GLABELLA. (Youre impressed, arent you?) Dr. Somenak worked quickly and explained everything that he was doing and what I could expect afterward. I had zero discomfort. Ok, honestly? On a scale of 1 to removing-my-own-toenails, it was a 2. That night, when the numbing wore off, it was a 3 1/2. I took an Advil and it was a 2 again. The next morning I felt a little swollen but I was enthralled by my pouty lips! This is only my third day and I am already in love with the results. I look rested. Like I just got back from the islands. Or am in love. Happy. Before I felt droopy and drab. Hey why are you still reading this??? GO GET THE PHONE AND CALL. YOU WILL BE SO GLAD YOU DID, you gorgeous thing, you!!!

As a woman of a certain age, (50 something) in a relatively conservative profession my concern with injectables and Botox has been looking too 'done'. What I love about Dr. Somenek is that his technique leaves me looking refreshed versus overdone or having a frozen face that doesn't move naturally with my facial expressions. I believe what sets him apart from other doctors is his innate understanding of the unique qualities and contours of each patient's face, as well your lifestyle and profession. My experience has been that he tends to go with less product, than too much, knowing it's better to come back for more, than feel like you have too much. If you are on the fence about injectables, I highly recommend making an appointment with Dr. Somenek for a consultation or taking the plunge!
