I was very scared at first because this was my sons first eye doctor appt, but the lady made my son feel so comfortable!!! They are very kid friendly and they answer all my questions that I had. She was so patient with him, I did not get her name but thank you so much for making my sons first experience so pleasant. They were very cautious with the CDC guidelines and very professional. I did wait a little too long but I did not mind that much because overall it was a good experience.

Other than my initial wait time to be taken back to examine room, the service was wonderful. I was so pleased with the precautions this office has taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Dr. Stephens was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything. It was very refreshing to meet a physician that takes his time and does not make you feel like just another patient.

The staff members I had the pleasure of coming in contact with were very professional and courteous. The signing in process was easy. I really must give 'KUDOS' to the entire Group for adhering to the CDC guidelines (social distancing and wearing masks) and going the extra mile of posting reminder signs around the office and providing hand sanitizer and wipes to use.

Thank you Dr. Stephens, technician Adam, and staff! I was hesitant to go to the office because of covid-19. Everyone was friendly and focused on ensuring that I and the staff were safe. I was relieved to see their safety and cleaning procedures in place. I was greeted at the door and the new procedures were explained. My temperature was taken, I was checked in, and returned to my car to wait for the phone call advising me to come in for service. I waited for about an hour before being called. I do understand the wait time with the additional cleaning between patients and safety measures in place. Adam was attentive and explained the steps he would take during my eye exam and repeatedly cleaned surfaces during the process. Dr. Stephens is always thorough. He is not only concerned about his patients' eye care but their overall well-being. I ask questions. Dr. Stephens listens and educates me about any concerns that I may have about my eyes. I highly recommend Dr. Stephens.

The way the office took care of my grandchildren and I from the minute we walked through the door was great. With all that is going on they were very professional, gave TRUE SMILES and showed that not just the current situation but our health situation as a whole was important. BIG KUDOS to the front door staff, the receptionist who made new appts as well as Adam who had to triage 3 at on time as well as Dr Phoenix. Love the practice!!!!!!

Yesterday's visit was my best experience ever. I didn't have to wait a long time as my previous visits. Everything was excellent. Now I don't have to dread going to my eye doctor anymore. LOVE IT.

Every time I come to this office, it always takes 2 or more hours to be seen & get out of there and that was before Covid. Most people expect to wait in the doctor's office but when you're given an appointment you shouldn't have to wait over an hour to be given a room & another hour to be seen. Also the people running the front office don't need to be rude to the patients because they're mad they have to work under the conditions that they're in. If I wasn't with my mother today, I would've gave the HAPPY guy up front the energy he was asking for by being disrespectful. He doesn't know I heard him but I did & every time I come here from now on, I will be on that same energy dealing with him going forward. Other than this & terrible communication the service can be ok. I'm told other locations have better service, but I guess in Lithonia this is the service we get smh.

Yesterday I took my two sons for vision exams and it took about 2 hours for service. Today, I took my oldest son for service and the wait was just as long. The practice manager, Tonya Hawkins-Nealous was the least helpful and most unprofessional individual in the building. When my husband complained about the lack of service she began loud talking with her peers about the situation but did not address him directly. She literally said she is sick of folks trying to make them rush etc. I will never recommend anyone to rub two pennies together in that office under her lack of leadership.

This was my first time visiting a Thomas Eye Group location and my experience was absolutely amazing. The facility is very nice with a quick check-in process through technology so it wasn't necessary to fill out pages of paperwork. Every person that I came in contact with were very personable but professional. Lots of laughs and knowledge shared. I really enjoyed that. From beginning to end I enjoyed every single person that I encountered. Great job Hillandale. Everybody needs a bonus :)

I loved being in this eye doctor. There was only one women who seemed to not be very well interested in me, but she could have just been having a bad day. Everything else was smoothly and workers were very patient with me, as I am a 18 year old who was told to go to the eye doctor by myself to gain some experience in the real world.

The only issue I had was the wait time, but the customer service was great. I appreciated Diamond and the front desk guy I forgot his name but they were very nice and professional. Dr. Berry changed my prescription and At first I was upset because I was used to my prescription in my old glasses, but change is great and I have come to love my new glasses and I'm not straining my eyes. Thomas eye group receives a 5 star because of great customer service and making me see better.

This place is great, the staff and Doctors are pleasant. However, I gave them 3 stars due to the fact that the wait time is absolutely insane and they get behind, so don't expect to get seen at your appointment time, in additon you can't talk on your phone in their office (so if you have to take a work call or have an emergency call, you will have to take it outside, which doesn't help if you have children that are getting an exam). If you have children that need to be seen get a late appointment because with a morning appointment they are for sure going to miss a day of school.

Even with an appointment you still will have to wait no less than 1.5 hrs to be seen. Tonya Hawkins-Nedlous one of the staff there was obnoxious and rude. Worst place to get a eye exam.

Dr. Phoenix is literally the best!!! She is so calm and patient. I never feel rushed and she is so sweet with my daughter. Dr. Phoenix even makes her own calls. That almost never happens in this day. I feel like they truly do care. We love them!

This location is near my home. Takes less than 5 minutes of travel time. The staff is very courteous and professional. Dr. Stephen is the best. Take time to explain all procedures.

It's a busy place, so keep your ears open so you don't miss your name being called no head phone jamming save it for later, but my Doctor Lina Barry and a team of co-workers took good care of me found two pair of glasses that look very good on me. thank you so much I will be back next year so keep up the good work.

I have been to this business 3 times since the beginning of the year. Each time I have had to wait at least 30 minutes.Today my wait as of right now is 50 minutes. I have yet to be called. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I feel when making an appointment you need to be given the amount of the visit before you come to the office because if you don't have the funds you won't be seen by a doctor that would be a waste of a lot of people time driving to the office finding out if you don't have any money you won't see anyone

This was my first visit and as I walked in the door it must have been 20 or more people in the waiting area I told myself this is going to be a very long day Within minutes a very nice office staff greeted me and asked me to sign in using the kiosk This was quite simply and easy Five minutes later I was called to the front desk to complete my check in As I prepared for a long wait, my exams started almost on time, this was amazing!!I have had many eyes examined in my life but this guy was the best, he took his job to another professional level, Communication and interaction and everything. Then came Dr. Stephen, a little man with a big clear voice. He looked at my exams explaining every detail, this man is the god of Eyes- he was good. I told my wife that explain why people are lined up to see the doctor. Thomas Eyes Group is a five star. I was totally impressed. Note: my wife have her first appointment later today

This facility pediatric service and doctor is the absolute best!!! They have seen my 6 year old daughter last year during her developmental issues and again this year and the examination seemed almost effortless. They made her feel so comfortable the testing felt like play instead of clinical which made for better testing and more accurate results.

Professionalism at its highest did not made me feel like a number like most doctor offices. Wait time was not long even though there lots of patients in there I guess they know how to properly schedule and have a happy staff that key to run a doctor office like this. The service provided didn't feel rushed and the staff paid attention to my needs. I went to Thomas Eye Group last year with a friend. The wait was more than an hour. The second time he went alone, same thing. I made an early appointment only because they were in the neighborhood but remembering the wait time, I packed my lunch. I was pleasantly surprised that I was called in at my appointment time. During my whole process, I never waited more than 10 minutes. Needless to say, I ate my lunch at home and not in the waiting room!

These reviews are clearly fake or made up by employees. This place is terrible. Every time we are there it takes 2-3 hrs for a simple check up. The office staff is unfriendly and could care less the office is so terrible. At all 4 of our appointments i sat in the waiting room listening to people complain about the wait times and staff. Today, after a 1 1/2 drive and taking my daughter out of school i was told our appointment had been canceled. I wish there was somewhere closer we could see Dr. Phoenix, she is awesome.
