I had breast cancer and I have been treated at UAB. The doctors and staff at UAB have been amazing but they dont offer sensation repair. So after my mastectomy I made the decision to drive 3hrs for a 2nd opinion. This office is absolutely amazing. From the ladies at the front desk to Dr Barron herself they are welcoming, professional, and most importantly knowledgeable. She shed new light on the procedure I was considering and offered me a more appealing alternative that doesnt involve taking muscle. She seems to understand what breast cancer survivors are feeling. I am also a nurse and I have worked in the ER for 23yrs and she is one of the most knowledgeable physicians I have came in contact with. UAB saved my life but Dr Barron is going to make me feel beautiful again!

She is always available to answer question you have and gives you the information in a way thats easy to understand (whether it be her verbally explaining or drawing a picture). The nursing staff is extraordinary and took time to get to know their patients. They are so kind on the phone and help you in any way they can. 10/10 would recommend
