4 wisdom teeth extracted in one visit. First time ever in my life I didnt have anxiety having my mouth worked one. Top notch staff, procedure, equipment and Dr. Listen to her videos for tips to prepare and do exactly as she recommends. The tips are there for your own comfort and healing. I felt absolutely nothing. I fell asleep quickly and woke up fast. Her office is welcoming and beautiful. Shes very kind and personable. The quote given for my procedure was way higher than expected but they tell you dont worry, it can go down once they get inside your mouth. My end cost was a little less than half of what I was quoted. I was very pleased. Its day one and I already feel better. Shes the one to go to for any procedure that she offers and Im grateful for her excellent skills.

I was very impressed with the high quality of service and state of the art equipment, as well as the magnificent staff this oral surgery clinic has. After having a terrible experience with a tooth extraction, years ago, in the mainland, I was a little nervous. As soon as I entered the clinic, I sensed a great atmosphere and friendly environment. All the staff is very professional, empathetic and friendly. Dr. Barry and his assistant, Trista, were excellent. The procedure was easy, gentle, fast and very comfortable (I didn't feel anything). Prior to my appointment, they followed up, and returned my phone calls very promptly, and answered my questions very accurately. They also directed me to the website, which I used to register electronically, so by the time I arrived at the clinic, everything was already set up. Plus I watched the videos about the procedure and read the important instructions for both prio and post surgical procedures. Mahalo Miki, Nicole, Dr. Barry, Trista, Hunter and Dr. Greco for providing such an amazing, friendly, and professional service and atmosphere. Highly recommended! Great to have you in the Big Island. Had all four of my wisdom teeth yanked here. The office itself is warm and beautiful, and the staff were very informative, helpful, and reassuring. Dr. Greco even gave my x-rays a second look and caught something that my previous dentist examiner missed. They even provided a proper diet plan for the few days following the extraction. They couldn't take my insurance but they were helpful enough in filing the claim for me through my insurance. Honest professionals here

Dr Joan Grecos office/ business complex in Hilo is just beautiful, beginning with the nice and unique individualized carpet before entering the office to begin.The office interior decoration/color/combination is awesome.As soon as you enter, the staff is very cordial, kind and accommodating.Staff Trista was extremely understanding, informative and most compassionate by rubbing my shoulder during extraction which I found very comforting.Dr Greco herself is in a different professional level which in my words is hard to beat.Been to her twice and results in my particular case was either near perfect or hard to believe. With removal of top wisdom, there was no swelling, no pain after visit.Even friends and family find it amazing.To the Doc and her wonderful staff a huge MAHALO!

I went to Dr. Greco for a tooth extraction. The tooth had broken below the gum line so I needed oral surgery. There was no waiting to get an appointment; the staff were friendly and professional. I am getting an implant so the procedure occurs in steps and takes a few months. Everything has been painless; there is reserved parking for one day surgery, and they give you a goodie bag with things you can eat and drink as you are recovering. I recommend them highly!

Went in today for a tooth extraction and the start of a replacement implant. Dr. Greco has done 8 implants for me over the past 15 years or so and they're all still holding up well.I was again amazed at how seemingly effortless the procedure was, despite the complexity involved. I always feel that I'm in very capable hands. The support staff are also excellent.If you are going in for oral surgery it's a good idea to call a week ahead and ask what supplements, aspirin etc you should avoid to lessen the likelihood of excessive bleeding. I didn't find that out until the day of the surgery. Peter M.

A crown broke away from the root and the root remained imbedded in bone. The doctor injected local anesthetic painlessly, removed the root, and placed an immediate implant. The whole procedure took less than half the time I anticipated it to take. There was no pain through the procedure nor afterwards. When I went home, I took the pain med proscribed and waited for discomfort to begin before taking more. It didn't. At bedtime I took some just to prevent swelling. No more meds were needed--no swelling and no pain Thank you to all who helped be understand beforehand what would happen and again at the end for care at home. I was very happy with my experience.

Dr. Greco and her staff are excellent. I've had dental surgery done over the course of a year and each visit has been the same - prompt, friendly, and effective. The offices are immaculate and the equipment appears to be the latest. Dr. Greco is gentle and efficient (it's difficult to be both) - I go in with the impression that the procedures will take a while but they're over before I know it. Importantly, her staff members work well together - the procedures are efficient as a result of their collaboration and teamwork.My dental implant work has been fairly uneventful - I've not had to deal with post-procedure pain nor swelling and healed quickly. My first implant is doing well and I cannot wait for the second one to be completed.

Dr. Greco was really nice and she really is gentle! The most uncomfortable part of the whole experience was getting sticked for the IV sedation haha. But let me tell you, IV sedation was wonderful! I stared at the ceiling for 10 seconds and then felt like I woke up from a nice nap! Took my ibuprofen and changed my gauze as instructed and thank God healed up fast! Even got a check up email from Dr. Greco which was nice and I knew if I had any questions I could ask her and she would take care of me! The only thing was that there was an hour wait after my scheduled time which she did apologize for, so definitely be prepared to wait just in case! I would absolutely recommend her!!!! Thank you Dr. Greco!

Im new to this area and had to have oral surgery shortly after moving here. Every one says Dr Greco is great. They were right. She has the best equipment. It meant less pain from just doing accessmente. They gave me an IV sedition which is also new to me in dental work. She also offered to take care of one other issue that has been around in my mouth for a while for free, because she was already there. Im really impressed with her Waimea staff and facilities. Insurance may have dictated who I use but Im thoroughly pleased. There was some pain as I drove away and tears ran down my face. But the prescription has kicked in so Im doing fine now.
