Dr Verst listens! He is kind, compassionate and takes time to really understand you. I have a mess of other health issues and he listened to those issues as well. I didnt feel rushed. I felt important. Dr Verst and his office gals are by far the most compassionate health care providers I have.

2004 ... Scheduled me for surgery and then changed his diagnosis when government L and I got involved. And thank God! Because he was going to do an unnecessary surgery that would have done harm to me. University of Washington got it right in 2006.

To use Dr. Verst's words while he was looking at the MRI, ' I am not impressed.' He never elaborated on what that meant and told us that we needed to do 5 rounds of physical therapy with the cortisone shot. Mind you this is after telling him that we have already done physical therapy with the cortisone shot but none of it helped. So between his lack of listening skills and his overall lack of caring; we are not impressed.
