When I first met Dr Hagarty I was in OSF with a nasty infection in my left foot and leg. I had an area of about 4x6 with no skin on top of my foot. Veins tendons and muscles were all exposed. I was very anxious because it very much appeared that the lower leg and foot were going to be amputated. Not a pleasant prospect. Dr Hagarty told me what she could do for me and that she was certain she could grow the skin back. A year later I am happy to be one of her many success stories. Dr Hagarty is a very caring doctor. She answered all of my questions in a way I could understand. She has a great staff and I actually enjoyed all of the treatments they supplied. I dont write reviews ever but Im making an exception this time because of the excellent care I received while a patient of Dr Hagartys. I have complete confidence in her abilities and have only one regret. That being, I will miss the time I have spent with Dr Hagarty and her staff. I truly recommend DrHagarty and hope you who read this seek an appointment with her.

I absolutely love Dr. Hagarty and her staff. She has done my breast reconstruction surgeries and Im very please with the way I was treated, the outcome, her staff, everything!!! I highly recommend her for plastic surgery. The only problem I have is that I will totally miss them all when Im completely finished. Love you all!

She doesn't give you the time to speak . Talks over you. Non caring. Very rushed. Office staff is nice , however if you have any insecurities with your body rest assure she will make it 100 times worse. Complete waste of time to even be referred .

Sarah E. Hagarty is the WORST 'doctor' I have ever spoken to. Here is my experience with her. I have a lump under my skin in my face growing. I was referred here to get it removed after xrays were taken where the radiologist noted asymmetry to my face caused by noticable swelling on the lower left side shown on the xray. Sarah Hagarty proceeds to feel my face, all is going well untill she looks at the computer and asks me why I am on a specific medication. To which I reply why. Then she smirks and proceeded to tell me she'll order an ultrasound but wouldn't really want to remove it. To which I say, 'It's growing and will ache after it's touched, look at my face it even showed asymmetry on the Xray from swelling.' So she says, 'Let me see your face, look it all goes downhill after you turn 25, they say something happens, it starts with an S and ends with a T.'...YES A SO CALLED PROFESSIONAL SAID THAT TO HER PATIENT... I kept my composure and said, 'Ok, what if it keeps growing like it has been?' To which she replied, 'In that case I'll be sure to completely knock you out to remove it.' To which I say, 'What? No way, I don't need to be put asleep for something like this.' She replies, 'Trust me I can tell your the kind of person I'll have to put to sleep.' I then said, 'Actually no not at all, I have a really high pain tolerance.' Then she tried to challenge me by saying 'Really? Well have you had kids?' To which I replied yes and with how many I have. Then she asked the ages and says she'll order an ultrasound, makes a sarcastic comment about me needing to go home and take ibuprofen, and leaves the room. A Worker returns with the ultrasound order, which get this, she ordered an ultrasound for my Thyroid/Neck. So I asked the worker why it's for my Thyroid and neck when the lump is in my face? She replied with 'Thyroid ultrasounds go all over your neck and face.' At this point I was going to blow up because I've had thyroid ultrasounds before and they DO NOT GO ON YOUR FACE. I just said ok and left. I normally only go through Swedish American and will continue to do so after this experience. SARAH HAGARTY, first of all you clearly discriminated against me based on a certain medication, and then my looks. Second of all, you failed in challenging my pain tolerance when you thought I had not been through child birth, assuming because of the way I look, young and thin. Sarah, even the weakest women can give birth so don't even go there because I know you were going to say I havnt experienced real pain yet until I give birth... Which is false. Third, NO ONE WANTS AN UNKOWN NAMED LUMP CONTINUALLY GROWING IN THEIR FACE THAT CAUSES A RADIATING ACHE AND ASYMMETRY TO THE FACE, SO EITHER TELL ME WHAT IT IS OR TAKE IT OUT, WHICH YOU SEEM INCAPABLE OF DOING since let me remind you, you ordered a thyroid/ neck ultrasound and I have ZERO TRUST IN YOU WORKING ON MY FACE, probably mess my face up because you are over 25, and as you told me after 's*** goes downhill'. Finally, I'll be sure to write my review about you on other sites as well. OSF ST. ANTHONY'S, you need to change your mission. If you need a refresher here it is....In the spirit of Christ and the example of Francis of Assisi, the Mission of OSF HealthCare is to serve persons with the greatest care and love in a community that celebrates the Gift of Life.
