Dr. Miguel did my rhinoplasty a week ago and it already looks great! such a pleasant and accommodating experience throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Dr. Miguel! After having had three nose surgeries due to skin cancer, my nose was deformed and I was having difficulty breathing. When I decided to research plastic surgery, I had consultations with three different doctors. Of the three, Dr. Miguel immediately made me feel comfortable. He asked questions, listened to what I said, and explained very clearly how he could make improvements on my nose both functionally and aesthetically. Dr. Miguel was very honest, saying that he would give me the most normal nose that he could considering the damage it had sustained. He met with me twice and talked to me on the phone several times to answer additional questions prior to surgery. He was also very considerate of my husband and daughter during the consultations and on the day of the surgery, answering their questions and addressing their concerns.On the morning of my surgery, Dr. Miguel talked me through what he anticipated with the surgery and made sure, once again, that he understood my expectations. The surgery took four hours and I went home that same day. My follow-up visits went well and Dr. Miguel explained everything he did during the surgery. He is extremely knowledgeable on the most updated technology and advancements in plastic surgery. He was able to use a dermal blanket as opposed to taking a skin graft. He also used other methods to ensure the safety and integrity of my nose. It has been over a year now and I am very happy with the outcome!! I am no longer embarrassed about my nose, and have regained the confidence in myself that I had prior to the skin cancers. Thank you Dr. Miguel!

I just read all the reviews about Dr. Miguel and I have to concur that they are surely all true based on my own experience with him these past six months. I wish I had thought to read up about him on Google BEFORE my surgery last September! Already having numerous large and unsightly scars on my body and also several on my face, I was not looking forward to having two more added due to skin cancer on my nose. Today was my 5 month checkup after surgery and everything he reassured me with, doubting Thomas that I am, has become true. The graft used to fill the cancer site on my nose has healed beautifully and is gradually changing color to become like the surrounding skin on the nose. Already you have to actually peer at it to even notice it, that is how good it looks. The graft harvest site along the side of the face by the ear is barely visible and is perfectly smooth to the touch. He assured me that the healing will continue for up to about a year so things will improve even more. Through it all, Dr. Miguel was the consummate 'gentle-man,' understanding of my worries and patiently answering questions, including my sudden confused panic whether I wanted the 'graft or the flap' indecision literally minutes before the surgery. He remained ever so kind and helpful. He has also seen to it that his staff are cut of the same cloth. When I was too squeamish to look at the surgical sites about a week after the surgery on the day the bandages and stitches came off/out, his nurse was so thoughtful and took photos of them with her phone and emailed them to me so that I could look at them privately and in my own good time at home. She helped me so much to get past that uncomfortable point. Dr. Miguel joked (truthfully) with me that the skin cancer patients are often 'repeat customers.' I will definitely, when and if that time comes, gladly be a repeat patient of his! Thank you so much Dr. Miguel! You are a gifted and skilled surgeon and I was lucky to have you take care of me! Dr. Miguel and the staff at Renaissance are hands down THE BEST! Not sure where to begin so I will start with the part that I am most excited about...THE RESULTS! I am currently 3 weeks post-op and beyond thrilled with my results. I had a neck lift, fat transfer to my cheeks and laser around the mouth. Not going to lie, I had some hesitation about whether I would look like a different person, but all my questions were addressed with patience, warmth and unparalleled kindness. I had bilateral nipple sparing mastectomy followed by direct implants with Dr Stefani! My anxiety was at an all time high which resulted in 2 consultation visits prior to surgery! He was honest ( which means most to me). He was also extremely knowledgeable & reassuring! The office staff are very professional. They explain/ teach thoroughly. They are patient & caring! Dr. Miguel is the BEST!! I was actually on the table with another Dr., a very well known almost retired Dr, which attempted to put me under before saying he couldn't do my nose and referred me to Dr. Miguel. Can you imagine going through all the prep before a sinus/rhino and being with IV's in your arm and being told no!?!?!?!?!?!So needless to say I was a little skeptical about meeting another Dr., as I had already met with 3 over the past year and a half! One said they could possibly help me breathe but wouldn't make my nose straight, another said he'd attempt to help me breath, no promises and he would remove my bump but not 'straighten' my nose; what I wanted was to be able to breathe and if they we're doing that to help make it less crookedUpon arriving at Renaissance Plastics I was greeted by pleasant office staff (which was a change from the past 3 plastic surgeons offices I've been in) and once I shook Dr. Miguel's hand and he was explaining why and what he had to do I had just a great comfort feeling. What a great gentle manner this Dr has and he took the time for all of my questions and answered them. I left confident he was going to be able to help me and not just in one area, the whole area! To be able to breathe and also have a non-crooked, witch-like nose, but not to change my face or my nose too much as I'm too old to have a new face and I didn't want a Jennifer Grey (Dirty Dancing-Baby) situation happening. DR. Miguel has amazing bedside manners and made sure my father was treated with up most respect! My father was squeezed into the Dr.s schedule with a necessary skin graft after skin cancer was found on and in his nose. My father was treated as he was the Dr.s only patient that day. Dr. Miguel is INCREDIBLE at rhinoplasty. I came into his office with a deviated septum, uneven nostrils, and a bump at the top of my nose. He took pictures of my nose and presented me with edited pictures of what he would alter, and it looked very natural. His edits fit my face well, which is something he strives to do with every patient. After my surgery, the kind staff sent me home with all the proper instructions for post-op recovery. When my cast came off a week later, my nose looked just as I imagined it would! I was extremely satisfied with the results. My dad got his ear and head skinned halfway off by having his head run over by a semi truck trailer. Dr. Miguel didn't think there was a very good chance that the whole ear would be salvageable, but he did his best anyways. 9 staples, 60 stitches, and 12 days later, we came back to Dr. Miguel to have it looked at and the sutures removed. Good news! The whole ear healed perfectly! My dad is very happy, and wants to thank Doctor George Miguel for his service, sincerely, and from the bottom of his heart. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Couldn't have been given a better surgeon. Very personable and friendly. What he is doing is a service to humanity.

If you're looking for a cosmetic or reconstructive surgeon, look no farther then Dr. Miguel, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him. Any surgery is scary, but having a doctor that is so personable with you, makes you feel comfortable and answers any possible questions you have, makes the world of a difference when choosing a plastic surgeon. Dr Miguel has wonderful bedside manors and really takes his time with each patient, discussing surgery, what he will be doing in surgery, how long the operation will take, down time etc. Scars are a result of any surgery, but I think Dr. Miguel has a magic wand because the ' scars' from the surgeries he does are AMAZING. Dr. Miguel performed a surgery on me under general anesthetic, oddly enough, the procedure was so comfortable, he talked to me the entire time, making sure I was ok throughout the surgery. My results were amazing and it has truly boosted my self confidence. Dr Miguel is an amazing plastic surgeon and anyone would be lucky to receive his amazing amazing work.

Dr. William Stefani, Renaissance Plastic Surgery in Troy, MI, breast augmentation. He wanted to charge me for a revision of his own work, and his office staff was rude stating that I came back twice for a consult about the revision, as if I am inconveniencing them, the tone was very poor and Dr. Stefani allowed it. I had the implants removed recently by a very reputable doctor. Please beware of this doctor. They will take your money but do not care about your well being.

I came to Dr Stefani based on the recommendations of 2 friends of mine, but what they told me didnt do justice to the staff, Dr Stefani, or his work. Over the past year and a half I lost over 75 lbs and as you can imagine my breasts shrank, and I had loose, saggy skin. I was extremely nervous but Dr Stefani made me feel comfortable from the very first appointment all the way to post op! Out-patient surgery performed by Dr. Stefani at Beaumont Troy, for osteoma (two bony bumps) removal on forehead. Care was top-notch. Had post-surgery swelling around eyes over the weekend. Called the after-hours service. Dr. Williams called back within minutes and reassured me that the swelling was due to normal fluid flow, expected to peak at 48-72 hrs and not a result of infection (my main concern). Swelling subsided after two-days of cold compress as advised. Dressing was removed a week later. Osteomas are gone, incision looks clean.
