Love this place and Dr Daifallah and his team. I have been there a total of 3 times in the last year for wisdom teeth pulled, and two other molars pulled.He is very nice, to the point, no BS. He made the extractions very easy and explained sounds I may hear or feelings I may feel. They made it no scary as I was very nervous having wisdom teeth out with no sedation or gas. But it was so easy.

I had gone in for a consultation to get 3 of my cracked wisdom teeth removed. Less than an hour later they were out and I was discharged with no issues (: The staff was friendly, Dr. Baker did a fantastic job, and I'm healing perfectly. He even did a follow-up call after to make sure things were going smoothly. 5/5 would get my teeth pulled again.

The staff and Dr Baker were so friendly and great! My children were very well cared for. From explaining the procedure, performing the surgery, getting them prepped to go home and their recovery, they put all of us at ease and made the whole process a wonderful experience. Besides the constant rescheduling due to the corona virus which was completely out of their hands I would 100% recommend them for wisdom teeth removal surgery. Not only did they make me feel comfortable knowing exactly what was going to happen and answered all my questions, but they were also extremely fast which my ride greatly approved of.

I have always had issues with dentists, due to a traumatic experience when I was young. My teeth have slowly been having issues over the years and I've needed several pulled- the underlying cause: my wisdom teeth. I'm in my mid 30s and was terrified on having this procedure done as my teeth were still in the gums mostly. Dr. Baker and his staff were amazing. They explained everything to me and made a plan that ensured safety as well as getting the job done. The Surgical Art Center, Dr. Baker, and all the staff there have completely renewed my hope that not all dental procedures are bad. If you have any surgical dental needs, I highly recommend them.

I have bad anxiety around going to the dentist. I was sent here for an emergency extraction due to an abscess. I was really scared because it wasn't my normal dentist. Dr. Baker and all the staff were amazing. The told me exactly what was going to happen, were very thorough while discussing my medical conditions and answering my questions and addressing my fears. I was in a great deal of pain coming in and the numbing shot was more painful because of the infection. His nurse held my hand during the shots and wiped tears from my face. Once I was numb, I didn't feel a single thing. Dr. Baker even called me the evening of my procedure to check on me. If I have to have more work in the future, I will definitely be going back here!

Dr. Hlavacek made a very impressive representation for an extremely stressful situation! For over 35 years I have struggled with very 'iffy' teeth. Then I had a local Endodontist crack one of my front teeth during a routine root canal! I'd seen this Endodontist for approximately 6-8 previous root canals BUT on this day he was not doing his typical work (even made a crabby and rude comment to me while prepping my tooth) and because I'd signed papers before the procedure I couldn't hold him responsible for the damage he'd done! ANYWAY-the end result had to be getting an implant to replace the cracked and wiggling FRONT TOOTH along with my entire upper plate of teeth because of several bridges linked together on that plate and needing the same type of treatment as determined by my long-time dentist. An excellent job was then completed by Dr. Hlavacek removing all of my upper plate of teeth in preparation for a full setof implants to be inserted by the afore mentioned dentist, Dr. Thomas Lakebrink. The most unique quality of Dr Hlavacek was his extremely positive attitude in also telling me that this will lead to me once again being able to bite into corn on the cob and into an Apple which I haven't been able to do for over 35 years! As I wait for the bone to heal from today's second surgery which today included inserting the pins I want to leave one important message: THANK YOU DR. HLAVACEK. You've done 2 fabulous surgeries and I will be forever thankful to you!Debi Bruce

I had one of my wisdom teeth removed here on November 26, two days before Thanksgiving. On Black Friday and Thanksgiving, I had some of the worst mouth pain. As of today, (Black Friday) the swelling has not gone down, although the nurse said that by Black Friday, the swelling would stop. Other than that, I like this place. Had laughing gas, didnt feel a thing. Although the surgery took an hour and 20 mins, which scared my mom (Im in ms) who thought something had gone wrong, bc the nurse had talked to me and my mom, said that it would take an hour at most.

Had my wisdom teeth taken out last week. Aside from being nervous, it went well. I chose to stay awake for the procedure, despite my anxiety about it. They walked me through exactly what would happen. They made sure I was comfortable through the procedure and constantly asked if I was still feeling okay, which I appreciated because my heart was practically beating out of my chest the whole time. (Due to my own anxiety.) But yeah, I'd definitely recommend this place. Dr. Baker and the nurses were all really nice and understanding. Also, Dr. Baker called later that night to make sure I was okay. This staff definitely takes good care of their patients.

I was very nervous going into my dental extraction surgery . I had ten teeth removed. I had several extenuating circumstances that made this a tricky case, but the Dr did all the leg work of contacting previous doctors and dentists to assure that nothing would go wrong while under his care. He had to take several extra steps for me and he went the extra mile to do so. During surgery if I even felt the slightest discomfort he would numb me more . This was the first time Id ever used happy gas. Id recommend it ... it was very helpful. The Doctor contacted me himself the evening after the surgery to make sure that I was still doing ok.

This was such a great experience. i am 5 hours post op of my wisdom teeth but dr baker and his team did such a good job! the assistants (nurses?) were so good and very helpful. i came in diaphoretic from tbe amoxicillin and they assisted to me asap rocky. the nurse who took me back was making sure i was doing ok and very caring. it was such a good experience. 10/10 recommended

Dr. Hlavacek is amazing! He was very kind and helpful throughout the entire process. He is a very personable man. The extraction procedure was quick, and the cost was reasonable. After the procedure, I had no pain and no swelling. I attribute this to his skill and technique. As most people know, the more invasive the technique and procedure, the more pain and swelling a person will experience after the procedure. Having no pain or swelling after a procedure is an honest sign of a truly skilled professional. In the evening, the doctor also calls each of the patients from that day to check and see how they are doing. He called me from his personal cell phone to check on my status, and to see if I had any follow-up questions. He said that I could feel free to call him on his cell phone over the weekend if I needed anything or had any concerns (my procedure was on a Friday). This is a man that cares about his patients. Dr. Hlavacek is the best that I have ever had experience with! I will conclude by stating that his staff are also very helpful and friendly professionals.

We found this place by accident after looking for a different oral surgeon after dissatisfaction with the one referred to us. The staff was quick to respond and friendly. The Dr even called to check up afterward and answered all of our questions patiently and respectfully, that is so unheard of today with medical providers. We hope to never need his services again but definitely would recommend.

The staff are also wonderful - friendly, efficient, and trained in all surgical and administrative aspects. I feel like family when I come here. I just showed up for my appointment and was turned away because the staff had scheduled it a month to the day later than what I was told verbally on the phone. Instead of offering to find other dates or inquiring as to what could of happened she just stared at me and told me I must of written it down wrong. She then offered me a card to write it down on so I wouldn't forget. No, I didn't forget it's the day before a major holiday and I was trying to get it pushed afterwards but it would of been three weeks more weeks so I agreed to the date before. Glad my wife and I took off work to be an appointment and their staff can't admit any wrong doing for the scheduling error.

This is simply the best place in Kansas City for dental surgery. The staff are optimally efficient, and the Dr. follows up in the evening with his personal cell phone number, in case there are problems. I had multiple teeth extracted and 4 dental implants. Forget franchise like Clear Choice unless you want to pay double the cost.

Their oral surgeon did an fantastic job of removing my wife's wisdom teeth. My problem with this office is their unethical billing practices! We paid in full for the surgery while at the office so we where surprised to find out that we owed them money when a debt collector came knocking for the money. The office did not send out a bill informing us that we owed them money but rather sent the account to collections a couple months after the surgery. It is ridiculous that the office would just sent an account to collections with out sending a statement to the patient.

I had a very traumatic experience earlier in the day with a failed attempt root canal. So I was not in the mood to see another doctor for a while but I had no choice. I was referred over for an extraction. I did not mention my experience earlier in the day and the staff was so compassionate and helpful. I have a hard mouth to numb and the surgeon took his time making sure I wouldn't feel a thing and even stopped half way through to numb me more. I had multiple stafff members come into my room just to see if I was okay. I actually cried after leaving because how well I was treated. I would recommend them to anyone.

wisdom tooth. actually need all 4 removed but 1 in particular decided to flare up and start throbbing on a 5+ hr road trip. luckily around 3 hrs into the drive the pain subsided. i took this as a sign to have this bugger removed asap. dentist referred me to a list of 3 local oral surgeons. 1st 2 could not see me until later, the 3rd was KC Surgical Arts. all i cared about at this time was getting this tooth gone before it decided to start throbbing again. SO GLAD that the 1st 2 were unable to fit me in. these folks are awesome, they got the job done. the staff, and Dr. Hlavacek were great, and i cannot express how relieved i am. will recommend KC Surgical Arts to everyone.
