Dr. Marie Montag has changed my life with her skill, abilities and compassion as a surgeon and physician. I was referred to her by another Omaha specialist to help me with my chronic spinal pain. After spinal surgery, by another Omaha doctor, I continued to have deterioration in other areas of my back resulting in pain. Dr. Marie performed a breast reduction and I immediately felt better when I awoke from surgery. The benefits have been so life changing for me. I am able to be much more active now and I use much less pain medication. I would highly recommend Dr. Montag to anyone in need of this type of surgery. She is at the top of my list when it comes to the doctors I have used.

I had my implant removed 2 months and 2 days after being put it. Dr. Marie Montag decided since it was a Friday afternoon and her Anesthesiologist was gone for the day that she would take my implant out in the same exam room she had been seeing patients all day. She put in her "records" it was falling out which was not the case. For months I had yellow/green drainage coming out of my incision, but she never felt like culturing it. She even stitched me up with stuff still oozing out of incision. Long story short, she denied me wound care and I ended up with a real serious infection that I had to be given antibiotics through a PICC line. She still thinks she did nothing wrong and I was given best standard of care.
