I had an awful experience with Dr Smith. First of all he is not respectful of people's time. Every single appointment I had with him I had to wait an hour or longer to be seen. During the consultation I noticed he did not have a very friendly personality, however I chose to have surgery with him anyways because he was able to get me in sooner than the other doctor I was considering and I believed he would do a good job with my rhinoplasty. After surgery I was unhappy with the results and he did not seem to care at all. He was rude and belittled me when I brought up my concerns. The worst part of the experience was when I tried for weeks to make a follow up appointment and was unable to do so. Every time I called to set up my appointment, the assistant would tell me she didn't have a chance to talk to Dr Smith about me and that she would call back when she was able to set up an appointment. This went on for weeks so I finally decided to see another doctor. The new doctor needed my records and it took Dr. Smith's office over a month to release the records to me.

What an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel comfortable and welcome. Dr. Smith did a beautiful job on my face. I look and feel years younger. Dr. Smith is very personable and artistic. I asked him on the morning of my face lift if he could also repair my ear lobe, because my earring had ripped out. He sewed it up and didn't charge me. How's that for a very special Doctor? I recommend him very, very highly. From a 1 to 10, he's a 20.

I shouldve read reviews online before going to Smith Plastic Surgery. I visited him and have never felt more uncomfortable in my life. Considering I wanted to get work done, he and his staff shouldve made me feel comfortable with asking questions about the procedure I wanted to be done. Instead, I just got judged and mocked by his staff and him when asking questions. If he and his staff are judging me right now, I cant imagine what they would do when Im under anesthesia.

WOW! Don't even know where to start. My 11 year old son had protruding ears that had apparently bothered him, so I went on line to search for a plastic surgeon. It felt as if i struck gold, when I found Dr. Lane Smith. Beyond his credentials, I found him to be the most compassionate human beings. With that being said, he had exceeded my expectations in pinning back my sons ears. My sons ears look 100% natural. In addition, he had minimal post operative pain. Anytime I had a question or concern, without further delay, I would receive an immediate response from his medical assistant Shannon.On top of it all, I was taken in by his medical staff that were filled with kindness & friendliness. I would like to use this opportunity to give great thanks to Shannon, Jessie and Jessica just to name a few of his medical staff participants. After twins, I had a tummy tuck from Dr. Smith. The results were amazing. No more post baby 'baby bump.' The medical assistant Shannon was also very helpful and kind. The anesthesiologist Dr. Crowley was also very comforting, kind, and knowledgeable. No matter how many sit ups I did before I could not get things back to normal, but Dr. Smith returned me to my pre-pregnancy self. Dr. Smith and his whole staff are incredible! As an out of state patient I thought I might not get the most attention. I was wrong! They only charged me for a few follow up visits, but continued to call, look at my post surgery pictures, check in with me, fit me in any time I visited, and overall provide outstanding post surgery care! They were quick to respond day or night to texts, calls, and emails. Just wow! I am so impressed! And I can't even express how incredible Dr. Smith made me look! I am SO incredibly impressed with Dr. Lane Smith and his team, I could not have imagined a more perfect experience for my breast augmentation, minor nipple lift, and axilla liposuction procedure. NEW PATIENT EXPERIENCE! I can honestly say I was super surprised by Dr. Smith. Although his team and front desk staff were super helpful, Dr. smith (like the guy who is actually going to put his hands on you) has a horrible bedside manner. If you have a lot of questions and did your own research before visitingdo not be surprised if Dr. Smith does NOT listen to your concerns, completely acts like your question are irrelevant and frankly does not have the time for you. I guess you are not supposed to ask questions?!As a small business owner with three locations, located in some of the hottest areas (Miami Beach and more) if any of my staff treated customers like the way Dr. Smith treated me, they would no longer be employed. If you are looking for a doctor to take time with you, talk with you before you decide on a life changing procedure.DONT GO TO SMITH PLASTIC SURGERY.

I had a revision septo/ rhinoplasty with cartlidge graft and tip repair about a month an a half ago. Still healing and not at final results but I am very, very happy. The most important part was having clear expectations being that my nose was broken multiple times. It keeps getting nicer and nicer every day. Not perfect but an amazing improvement. The best part is that he is very gentle. My pain and bruising were so minimal in comparison to my last procedure and can breathe better it seems. Only advice..follow instructions to a T and realize it's a busy, busy, practice for a reason but worth the wait.

If you want to see arrogance at its finest, visit this office! I have already wasted too much time at Dr Lane Smiths practice, so Ill make this review as short as possible. - I was the first appointment of the day. - The Doctor was over 45 minutes late. - The staff gave me attitude when I questioned where the Doctor was. - I was told the Doctor was in the building (I could see everybody pulling up, I knew the doctor was not there). - My husband had to leave the appointment before the doctor even arrived. - The doctor didn't apologize for being untimely.. He proceeded to blame the staff and said that if they would have called him he would have left his other appointment to be there.- The doctor rushed through the consult and told me not to ask questions until he was finished. - There was no other staff in the room during the consult and during his spiel he made an inappropriate/odd comment about coming to my home to massage my breasts after surgery. - When finished, I asked if we could visit with him again so my husband could be part of this big decision and get to any of our questions or concerns answered to which Dr. Smith replied that we'd have to pay another consult fee. (Which turned out to be double the original consultation fee). - When I gave a small rebuttal about his untimely-ness he said 'What your husband has to understand is that I was getting my car oil change by some high school dropout, which is why I was late. I am one of the busiest and top plastic surgeons in the entire U.S. and if you can't accept this, then it's not a good fit.'This guy is a joke. Whew!... Dr Lane Smith is an unprofessional pompous P.O.S. and I'm surprised with how busy he is that he doesn't have somebody take his car to get an oil change when he has appointments set from weeks ago.I invite this practice to check their cameras. They will find that every bit of this review is accurate.

Absolutely awful experience. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I received a letter from a malpractice attorney who is also the office manager at Smith Surgery threatening to sue me if I did not remove my review. That explains why there arent FAR more negative reviews here as most people want to avoid being sued. I refuse to be bullied and am not afraid as I have said nothing untrue, people deserve to see honest reviews especially when their health and safety is at stake. Very scary situation. (Letter attached in photos.)* after my rhinoplasty My nose became red and painful after a few rounds of antibiotics Dr. Smith suggested we go back into surgery to remove permanent sutures * I was now pregnant so I went into surgery under local anesthesia * After surgery my infection got substantially worse (see photos) * Dr. smith took me back into surgery again to see if he had missed anything * The nose continued to be infected. I was on hardcore antibiotics and very sick my entire pregnancy * My son was born with an infection and spent 10 days in the NICU * I had a PICC line put in to try to kill infection, went to see many doctors they assumed foreign bodies but they all were told smith went into surgery to remove foreign bodies twice and so they felt sutures couldnt be the cause. * My nose kept getting worse and was creating large black sores. Dr smith wanted to go back into a 4th surgery but was acting very suspicious and cruel and I did not feel safe. * I chose to go to another doctor who found permanent sutures strewn through my nose everywhere. We then discovered in Smiths own surgical reports that he never removed a single suture and had in fact ADDED ONE. * I have never felt more hurt and violated in my life. I trusted this surgeon and really truly thought he was doing his best. I try to see the best in people and looked past many things in order to give him the benefit of the doubt. He put me and my baby in danger and lied to me repeatedly. I am truly shocked that someone could be so careless and cruel.

After speaking to Dr. Minoli I felt really comfortable and decided to move forward with a extensive procedure. Called to set up the procedure. After 27 minutes on hold and getting the run around, god for bid, you tell his staff of the unprofessional approach in taking a call. They will tell you that you are not a good fit for their practice...... I give his office a zero on customer service ...... I am disappointed that I did not get a chance to get my work done with Dr. Minoli. So, I am not sure that he is as good as he professes to be with the unprofessional staff he has hired to support himDo not go to the Smith Center Shame on his staff ......on the day I am trying to pay my deposit for the scheduling of my procedure. Cannot imagine, what would have happened after they had all of my money Bad!

The whole experience has been amazing. From the moment I had the consultation. I had had others before him, but I knew after that that Dr. Smith was who I trusted. I had an augmentation 1 month ago. While I was under he decided to also give me a lift free of charge. My breasts have been high, swollen, painful, and a little square on the bottom so far. Which is all part of the process. Now that they are settling they have dropped some and pain has mostly subsided. I can see the shape starting to fill out and become more round on the bottom. Im so excited for a few months from now when the drop and fluff should happen. Inwas going for more fullness rsther than size and wanting a more natural look. I think they are beautiful already and I cant wait to see the final result. The nurses and anesthesiologists were great. Ill post in a few months to give an update. Thank you Dr Smith and staff!!! Just had my consult with Dr. Smith for a breast augmentation.. this was my first consult for a cosmetic procedure so I was definitely a bit nervous but Veronica (Dr. Smiths MA) was so sweet, very welcoming and had great tips when picking out implant sizes. Ive wanted to get my breast done for about ten years now.. I have never truly felt comfortable in my own skin and I have whats called tuberous breast so my surgery will be more of a corrective type breast aug procedure.Working in cosmetic surgery prior myself breast augmentation consults always seemed complicated.. alot of decisions to make and I have never seen a surgeon that could really correct a case like mine. Dr. Smith was very thorough and kind in his consult.. he walked me through all the details involved..what my particular options were.. pros and cons..he instantly put me at ease in our consult. If you would like to be in a waiting room for an hour and a half, then be 'handled' by a pretty, but rude office manager set an appointment now! Who needs the DMV with customer service like this! The 1.5 hour wait doesn't deserve 1 star, the young and inexperienced office manager does. After telling me it would be yet another half hour I expressed my concern and she said that she was sorry it wasn't a 'good fit'. Cute. Its too bad, Dr Smith seemed like a good solution, but like in all things, no matter how good the food is, or the chef, if you have to wait an hour and a half and deal with a rude waiter to get it it ain't worth it. Do yourself a favor and skip this unforgettable Las Vegas business.

I had my breast augmentation surgery a few months ago & absolutely love the results. I was looking for a natural feel and look and that is exactly what I got, so happy with the surgery! 09/29 I had an extended tummy tuck, implants and a breast lift done by Dr. Lane Smith. I'm a little beat up (tummy wise), but everyday is getting better and better. Dr Smith is AWESOME!!! He was very honest about expectations and helped guide me in the decisions I made regarding the procedures I wanted. I have done 5 procedures with him over two years and I would recommend him to anyone. He has COMPLETELY transformed my body and given me back the piece of my self esteem that has been dormant. I had a tummy tuck, breast lift, breast implants, liposuction in five areas, outer thigh lift and the Brazilian butt lift. It has been 10 days after my rhinoplasty and I am very happy with the result of my surgery. Everybody at Smith Plastic Surgery was very helpful the whole time, answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. It was my first surgery ever so I was little bit nervous about the anesthesia but Dr.Smith and his anesthesiologist did a great job and made it a surprisingly painless experience. I was almost in no pain the whole week after my surgery when I had to wear my cast and now it has been two days since my cast has been removed and I have very little swelling and no bruising. The shape of my nose looks pretty and cute and I am already getting plenty of compliments from people around me. I am glad that I chose Smith Plastic Surgery because the whole procedure and treatment from the doctor and his staff was very professional and pleasant. Thank you for doing such a great job!

Dr. Smith and his team earned every star and went over and beyond my expectations. From the consultation on my rhinoplasty, all the way to my post-op everyone was professional and welcomed all of my questions. My results were everything I have ever dreamed of having. He is amazing at his job and made me feel so comfortable and took away any nerves that I might have had. I also wanted to mention the nurse, I believe her name was Deseria? I apologize for not recalling but I know it started with a D. She was FANTASTIC. Both of these people matched Dr. Smith's incredible level of professionalism, knowledge and enthusiasm. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Smith, Dr. Crowley and the rest of the Smith Plastic Surgery team. After interviewing several other plastic surgeons I am convinced there is no one I would trust more or rather have performing my procedures than Dr. Smith. I had a facelift/necklift with blepharoplasty and fat transfer two weeks ago and couldnt be happier with the results. Im now scheduled for another procedure with Dr. Smith and wouldnt consider having anyone else as my surgeon. Dr. Smith is a phenomenal plastic surgeon with unequaled training and experience. He is a perfectionist with a truly beautiful sense of artistry and takes great pride in doing his absolute best work for every patient. Dr. Smith is also kind, compassionate and impeccably honest. He suggested I didnt need a procedure other surgeons were recommending and explained an alternative that would give a better result with less scarring and at less expense. He always takes time to become familiar with my goals and objectives for each procedure, to answer all my questions and to explain the benefits, limitations and expected results. Because he does take the time each patient needs appointments can sometimes run behind schedule, so plan on spending a few extra minutes at the office. Dr. Smith and the excellent quality of results he achieves are definitely worth spending a little more money and a little more time. I believe any patient of Dr. Smith who follows all his instructions exactly will have the very best result their body is capable of, as everyone responds to surgery and heals differently.
