My son and I had very serious health issues that several Dr's either dismissed by saying we were fine (because they weren't sure what to do) or dismissed as hypochondriacs. Being I had some medical training in the health realm I was scared because the Dr's were putting my growing teenager on harder and harder meds instead of trying to go a different route and I could see his health dwindling.Then we heard about Otero and at first was critical due to the other physicians & specialists who let us down. We went in and what he told us was so simple yet out of the ordinary that I thought 'what the heck, we have tried everything else..we did the required blood testing, cut out bad foods, started taking healthy (not cheap synthetic) supplements and that alone gave us a complete turn around. I'm pretty bull headed so it was very hard for me to adjust and be humble enough to receive something Otero's knowledge but complied mainly for my son's sake which led to my body healing as well.I have thyroid issues which are almost completely under control..had heart issues, major mood swings that were even scarring me!, skin problems, nausea, bad heartburn, and more. My son had stomach problems, always had to rush to the bathroom and was in there for long periods of time. It got so bad he started missing school because his stomach hurt so often. He started becoming very weak and was losing strength he had and couldn't do the things that other kids his age could do on a daily basis. He was already going to be 16 years old and couldn't help me with moving lightweight furniture. When he started the treatment with Otero he told me he didn't feel old anymore. I am thankful to God and to this man's practice because without the treatment I honestly feel neither one of us would have lives as long as we wanted to or would have been pincushions for surgeons.

This provider did not want to treat my infection with antibiotics, instead he tried to push vitamins from the vitamin shop connected to his practice. When I turned down the vitamins he was rude. I'm old but able minded enough to know how I want to be treated. Mr. Otero was unprofessional and does not like patients with Medicaid. I will travel outside of the Clovis, NM area to be treated with respect.
