HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I absolutely LOVE the results!!! Dr. Aburto did a lower blepharoplasty (removal of under eye bags) and I couldnt be more SATISFIED with the results!!! I look YEARS younger and no longer have people telling me that I look tired. Dr. Alburto was very attentive during pre/post surgery. I was nervous at first, however, all my questions and concerns were addressed during consults and that definitely put me at ease. His office staff, Chris, Veronica and Irene, as well as the surgery team at Memorial hospital, were ALL very professional, knowledgeable and friendly!

My wife of 52 years had a double mastectomy two years ago. Unfortunately the surgeon that did the work left a horrible mass of excess tissue all across her chest and under both arms. It was extremely uncomfortable and painful for her to perform any of her normal activities.We searched for a good plastic surgeon in the Las Cruces area. From word-of-mouth and online reviews she chose Dr. Aburto. After a consult with the good doctor she decided to have the excess tissue removed. Dr. Aburto is one of the most caring physicians we have dealt with in years. He answered all of her questions thoroughly and with great care. On the day she was admitted to the hospital for surgery all of the nursing staff complemented Dr. Aburto. It was obvious he treated the nurses with great deal of respect.Upon completion of the surgery he gave detailed instructions on how to care for the wound. We follow those instructions to the letter and as a result she healed very quickly. She now feels and looks much better and is able to do all of the activities she could do before the double mastectomy.We could not recommend a better plastic surgeon than Dr. Aburto. He is kind, considerate and even has a good sense of humor.

I took my 13 year old daughter in to get a blotch removed from her back. Most physicians see the patient, look at the issue and re-schedule you for another day to biopsy. He removed it the same day and the staff called me right away to have him give me results. Yes, HE gave me the results. Dr. Aburto and his office staff are very special! They have been one of the brightest spots on an otherwise very difficult journey for me. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in December of 2017. My first appointment with Dr. Aburto was a consultation to go over my options. He spent 1 hour and 15 minutes with me explaining everything and answering every question I had!! I truly cannot remember a doctor spending that much uninterrupted time with me to be sure I was ok - EVER! After surgery I was in the hospital for just less than 24 hours. In that time, he came to check on me THREE times! Dr. Jaime Aburto is a very special doctor and person! I cannot say enough good things about him and his staff. If you need the services of a plastic and reconstructive surgeon in the Las Cruces/El Paso/Southern New Mexico area (HECK! I'd travel to be treated by him!), Dr. Aburto is your best choice, hands down!
