There are literally not enough good words in the dictionary to review the people at the Plastic Surgery Group, Im a Transgendered female who met with Dr Gannon I believe it was back in May for breast augmentation. She is by far the most knowledgeable, confident surgeon Ive ever had the pleasure to meet with. She takes the time to hear what youre saying as well as she knows shes an expert so she incorporates her knowledge into the meeting! There wasnt a second that went by where I felt judged nor unheard after our meeting I spoke with Staci her assistant we were attempting to go through my insurance she as well is knowledgeable in her field and Beyond a few days after we submitted everything my insurance unfortunately denied it, after being denied a few times I received a call from Staci and during this call she stated Dr Gannon and herself wanted to continue to help me with all of this overwhelming confusing information I was getting back from my insurance company... These two wonderful females ALWAYS answered the phone e mail as well and truly made me feel like I wasnt doing this alone. They made it happen. Once they helped get everything inline they got me right in to Dr. Gannon the day of approval this was about a month and a half from when I first got denied by insurance and Dr. Gannon completely took the time to re go over everything and keep me completely question free. They had me in for surgery less than two weeks after that!! I just had my surgery yesterday morning, I feel great with minimal pain, I had a question today Saturday I called on call and who answered the phone.. DR GANNON!! This woman is so caring and compassionate! My chest looks great so far and Im so blessed I had these two beautiful ladies to help me along the way, if youre thinking about any surgery or procedure I highly highly highly recommend reaching out to them. You will not be disappointed and you will be gaining so much more than just a surgeon! Thank you you plastic surgery group especially Dr Gannon and Staci for giving me what you have Gave me!!

With Dr. Hargrave I felt instantly at ease and knew from my consult that he was the one to perform a procedure I had wanted for over a decade. He is an expert in his field and sincerely cares about his patients. The entire staff at The Plastic Surgery Group is amazing but having a surgeon that genuinely cares about you and your outcome is priceless. I highly recommend them, no matter where you have to travel from!!

A few months ago, I had a minor procedure at this place. My appointment was scheduled for 8:30 am; I walked in at 8:10; they had me in the room within 5 minutes and Dr. Hargrave walked in right behind me. He was very friendly (all of the staff were), and he started the procedure immediately. I was in my car at 8:35. I've never had so much as a simple checkup at any other medical facility run that smoothly, much less a surgical procedure. I should also add that Dr. Hargrave did an excellent job, and I healed up quickly, and with very little scarring. Thank you PSG!

Ineffable Splendor

Dr. Lynch did an astonishing job on my nose. The results were everything I had hoped for! Not just is he extraordinarily gifted surgically, but he's the kindest doctor I've ever met. I highly recommend him for both his expertise and his manner.

I had a 2:30 appointment. I got there at 2:20 and i still hadnt seen a doctor at 3:30 so I left. All the while no one said anything to me about why it was taking so long, no one seemed to care that they wasted my time. They were taking 3:00 appointments back and those people were leaving way before I finally decided to leave.

This was best experience I have ever had at any medicinal facility. Everyone from the receptionist, to the nurses, and the doctors go above and beyond to make sure you get the best service and experience they can offer. I highly recommend Dr. Hargrave and his team. I will not be going anywhere else. I am going back for my 2nd restalyne today, thats how pleased I am. You cannot find a better facility in the capital district.

As a transgender man, top surgery with Dr. Rockmore and his staff was incredible. I was able to get a consultation even without being in the Albany area, which definitely made things easier for me. I felt comfortable and happy to be there. Their facility is very nice. Overall, my whole experience with them was wonderful and I love my results. I would definitely recommend him to anyone else.

So I went over a month ago , i had white heads and wanted to do a facial , the girl who did the facial was not as welcoming as she was supposed to be , the facial that she did to me basicly didnot change anything , NOTHING , she also added a chemical peel which was not effective at all and they charged me for it , although I've asked her if it comes with the facial backage and she said yes , i paid for it because I had no other choice .when I was walking out she recommended a face gel for me and i bought it from them, I took it and used the Instructions EXACTLY as she have told me and now my face is burned !!!! I have no word to descripe how disappointed I am , I am very sad for my skin that did not heal , it got burned INSTEAD .Even the message that she did to me while there was a mask in my face I could barely feel it , like it has been done effortless , I paid over 250$ for bad service , effortless message , non-effective facial , and a bad recommendation that caused me a face damage ,, Iam very upset and will never go back there or recommend it to others . I really expected at least fair service.

I had both a face life and a neck left two and a half weeks ago; Douglas Hargrave was the surgeon. Being in my mid-60s, I had realistic expectations, but these were far surpassed. Dr. Hargrave spent a great deal of time talking about the procedure and answering all questions - I had a lot. I had read horror stories on the web, but my experience was the opposite. Pain was minimal; results are spectacular; and I was shocked by how quickly I have healed. And their spa treatment, and instructions on how to reduce swelling, etc., (which were followed to the letter) were certainly a plus. This was a totally positive experience and I would do it again without hesitation.

As a transgender woman, I am always a potential target for harassment and discrimination, we almost come to expect it. I must say that I was quite impressed by the treatment I received from Dr. Rockmore and his staff including the main office and at the surgical clinic. I was treated with respect and I was treated like just another woman in the process of obtaining breast augmentation. As far as the process itself the surgery went well, the process was quick, and I am healing quite nicely as I write this. I would recommmend Dr. Rockmore both for his professional skill and also his handling of transgender clients.

I have known Dr. Hargrave for 15 + years. I first met him when I was 5 years old, in Albany Medical Center on a hospital bed as I was being prepped for surgery after an akita attacked me at a family party. My upper lip was completely torn into 2 sections, and my nose was bit completely in half. I also had teeth marks on my right cheek. Upon arriving at the hospital, the emergency room doctors told my parents I would likely need a prosthetic nose. However, Dr. Hargrave is a MIRACLE WORKER! Dr. Hargrave performed 4 facial reconstructive surgeries on me throughout my childhood, and the damage done by the akita is practically invisible. He is a remarkable surgeon. He is very genuine, and very honest. He is also incredibly smart, and informative. The thing I love most about Dr. Hargrave is that he really loves what he does and will never do anything he doesn't believe in, and he never gives false expectations. I would recommend him to anyone :-) If you are going to the Plastic Surgery Group-request Dr. Hargrave! You will not regret it.

Everyone from the front desk onward is pleasant, professional, and greets you with a smile! When you are there, you don't have to wait forever to see the doctor or get your initial consultation, it is literally 1-2-3!I met with Dr. Rockmore after seeing his amazing work with FTMs on the site's photo gallery and on youtube from a past client.Dr Rockmore is AWESOME! His smile is captivating and warm, but his work is PHENOMENAL!!!! Since having my surgery with Dr Rockmore I have felt nothing less than AMAZING! I love looking in the mirror over and over again!
