I had a wonderful experience with Doctor Augenstien. I had a tummy tuck, MR and Lipo. He has the best bedside manner and has the sweetest spirit. He is very knowledgeable and careful. He takes his time to answer any questions and makes you feel comfortable. He did a fabulous job and has great art hands. He made my incision very nice and low. I can't say enough about this wonderful guy. I'm getting my breast done in January and I would refer him to anyone is looking for a great surgeon.

Ever ask your nurse or doctor friend who they would recommend? Maybe you have wondered who operating room staff would go to for their plastic surgery procedure? It is Dr. Augenstein. I worked with a plastic surgeon a decade ago who educated me on what to look for in a surgeon if I ever felt the need for a 'mommy makeover' after I was done having children. 10 years and 3 children later I decided it was time. As a physician myself, I have quietly watched the work of many plastic surgeons here in Charlotte and during my training, residency and fellowship in 2 other states waiting to meet one that would measure up to standard I was told years ago. It was with Dr. Augenstein that I found a match. What is the standard? For me it was Board Certification in Plastic Surgery, excellent surgical skill, deep medical knowledge and great bedside manner. He actually exceeds this standard. On my initial visit I told him about a friend who was going through personal difficulty. He has asked about her every time I have seen him after and went out of his way to help a women he had never met. I have seen him with his other patients and he genuinely has a deep caring for them personally and wants them to be happy with themselves and their results. During the consultation I inquired about Cool Sculpting he was honest and didn't up sell me on a procedure I didn't need. Fast forward to the procedure and my results. One of the other reasons I chose him was that he uses a Board Certified Anesthesiologist to oversee the anesthesia to provide his patients with the best care. I was EXTREMELY nervous the day of the procedure and he and the anesthesia team took incredible care of me. He and the anesthesiologists he uses practice multi-modal anesthesia to limit the amount of discomfort and nausea I had after the procedure. I felt so great after my tummy tuck, breast lift and augmentation that I could have gone back to work after 4-5 days of rest! His office is immaculate and his office staff are top notch. I can go on and on and on. In fact, I would be willing to talk to you personally if you had any reservations about having the procedure I had or who to choose. Came in to visit their office on 5-8-19.Was greeted at front desk and was asked to fill out some papers that they had already let me know that would be needed.Was called back in a matter of minutes,with each person that i came into contact with,having a big smile and warm good morning,and how are you doing today?I guess in the big scheme of things the procedure i need for my nose, and second bout with skin cancer,is really not that big of a deal.Everyone at that office treated me like nobody else mattered and help was out there and i had just found it.From the time i came through their front doors until the time i went back through them as i was leaving,i felt like they really cared.Dr.Augenstein came in and looked me over, and said the words that i needed to hear,we can fix you right up.Terri came in and explained my progress route going forward and what she would do to help me along that path.That was yesterday 5-8-19,she called me today 5-9-19 and had everything set for me including insurance info,all my times and locations for my procedure .Their kindness and concern truly helps to relax me and i know i'am in good hands with this group standing behind me.THANKS GUYS

Dr. Augenstein is awesome. I went to talk about lip fillers and explained all the reasons I had been unhappy with the results from my former injector. He sat down, patiently listened to everything I was saying and then explained what he thought would best achieve the results I was actually looking for. We used Velour, instead of Juvaderm Ultra XC as he felt it would be a better option for me. He injected about 0.7-0.8mL of the syringe and stopped. He wanted me to come back in 3 weeks to allow the swelling to go down and for things to settle out and see if we should use the rest.I am so happy with my results and was so impressed with him. I've met with plastic surgeons in the past for consults regarding various procedures for both myself and family. Every time, I felt like their brains were out the door to the next patient before their hands touched the door knob. I did not get this feeling at all from Dr. Augenstein. He takes his time, and I truly felt that he was taking in everything I was saying. I also consulted with him about some body procedures and when I am ready, he is my guy, without question. I felt absolutely comfortable and not rushed at all. I keep telling people that he's just a 'nice guy.' I'm a nurse. I've met and worked with surgeons....There is not a lot of warmth there typically. I've looked at his before and after photos and, honestly, decided to go and see him largely on the amazing results I saw. His demeanor is just the icing on the cake.
