Through every step of my breast reduction journey: from initial consultation to actual surgery and now through recovery, they have truly cared for me as a patient and person. Dr. Stokes is such a kind and caring surgeon, and I felt so calm and at ease when the day of surgery finally arrived. When Ive had concerns during my healing process, the on-call nurses have responded in a timely manner and even looked at pictures and responded via text to help ease my mind and provide at-home guidance, care instructions, and have called in prescriptions when necessary. Brandy (my amazing nurse) has been especially patient and kind to me as I have sent her numerous photos and texts needing reassurance. I could not have asked for a better surgeon or experience, and I look forward to continuing my relationship with this practice as I progress through my recovery. I am SO pleased with my results, and most importantly, I am PAIN FREE! This surgery has already improved my quality of life in so many ways. I couldnt be happier!

no transparency with pricing, was charged double what I should have been chargedI have a $300 deductible and trying to charge me over $1600 out of pocketall about the money they chose to use Pinehurst surgical instead of Pinehurst hospital and that doubled the pricingvery very very dissapoointed

I feel like giving this guy one star is too much. He botched my surgery in 2012 and 6 years later I'm still having problems. Thank God for the staff at UNC. They have been doing their best to fix what Dr Stokes ruined. I went to the medical board but naturally they sided with this shady surgeon. He talks down to women and refuses to be accountable for anything. He should be ashamed of himself. Please, please stay away from this butcher.

I have had multiple surgeries as enhancement to losing over 180 lbs following gastric bypass surgery. Dr. Stokes and his office staff are top notch and always available by phone if I have a question. Dr. Stokes goes above and beyond to answer all my questions and offer solutions!

I had an appointment scheduled with Dr.Russell Stokes. Called the staff every other day just to make sure everything was ok and good to go since I already had a really bad experience with another plastic surgeon. All was ok until the day before my consultation. Mrs. Beth went and talked to Dr. Stokes and he decided he would do the surgery NO PROBLEM. I just have to pay out of pocket and submit my claim to my insurance to get reimbursed!!! 1400$ may be chump change in Pinehurst but here in Fayetteville that's a nice amount especially if you hear about it a day prior to your appointment. Very disappointed.Its all about money for these doctors. Very sad. This procedure is covered 100% by my insurance but Dr.Stokes wanted to make sure he got his money before he even did my surgery. I was really looking forward to this appointment. I work with soldiers. I get asked all the time where to go for any enhancements and changes as far as plastic surgery goes! Dr. Russell Stokes will not be mentioned. I will make sure I advice against picking him for any type of treatment!
