If I could I would give negative stars. Dr. Kay's almost killed me after my bilateral breast cancer reconstruction. 18 months of surgery after surgery open wounds MRSA infections. He was very rude to my husband and myself. He will treat you like your below him. I'm still left with a mess and need several surgeries to attempt to fix his mess but unable to find a doctor who will help me now thanks to him.

The only reason I am leaving a two star review is because I think Stephanie is AMAZING. I had to reschedule an appointment and couldnt get an opening for another month, which I completely understand. What I am irritated out of my mind about is having drove an hour and 15 minutes to go to an appointment that I have had for a month only to be told that it does not exist in the system. The receptionist, whose job it is to input appointments into the system, who confirmed that I did in fact have an appointment for this date and time, failed to input my information. So as someone who works nights an hour and 15 minutes away I was thouroughly inconvenienced out of sleep, gas money, and a procedure, then asked to wait four hours to potentially be seen. Never have I dealt with such blatant negligence.

Stay away from Dr. Kay's. I spent $11,000 for a lift and implants. I have had nothing but trouble since my surgery. I have been to another plastic surgeon in the area and was told that my lift on my left side was done higher than my right. So now I can't wear a bathing suit without my left nipple hanging out. I am so upset!!! I have wanted this for years and saved to have this done and my breast look horrible. Dr.Kays makes you feel so not worth his time. His bed side manners are horrible. My left implant stays under my armpit. I have called several times and told he will call you back, never did he call me back. I spoke with Dr. Church a couple times and he seems great!! I have drove to Wilmington for appointments, called to the back and sat there 2 hours and finally ask how much longer and was told, did no one tell you he is gone for the day??? Ummm no!!! I took a day off work and drove over an hour to get there and he decided because I was 10 minutes late he would leave. Did I mention I called and reported I would be late and was told that's fine! I went for my wound opening and yellow puss coming out. I guess that wasn't important enough to wait on. I saved and saved for this and it has been a nightmare. I guess he thinks I just had 11,000 laying around. No! I worked and saved for what you turned into a nightmare for me. Stay clear from this doctor. He does not care about his patients. Everything I needed to know, what type of bras, when to start wearing them I had to call and ask other doctors. Research a lot before trusting this man because when i told him i was unhappy my response that i got was well you should be happy considering the way your breast looked before. Excuse me but I had 4 children and breastfed them. I was told 4 days off work would be a good time. So went back on day 6 and then he yelled at me for going back too soon. I have missed several days of work over this. Not too mention I was told he would be going above the muscle woke up from surgery and he went under the muscle. This has been a horrible experience. Thank you Dr. Kay's. I will be having surgery on July 2nd to have my implants removed with another surgeon. More money that I didn't plan on spending!!

When scheduling the appointment, I had a poor experience with the scheduler, Betsy. She was condescending, unaccommodating, and rude. She requested payment while scheduling the appointment (a month before the procedure) although it is policy that the procedure be paid for 24hrs before the operation. Stating that due to the need to reschedule, due to a death in the family, the appointment warranted an earlier payment. I decided since the prices were the most competitive I will keep the appointment but I have to say this was not an enjoyable experience and I would not recommend going to Wilmington Plastic because this is how they treat their patients.
