I was referred to Dr. Scurry to repair my deviated septum in Dec. after decades of not being able to breathe well and hating the appearance of my crooked nose.Dr. Scurry and the staff at PENTA (Piedmont Ear Nose and Throat associates) have been beyond amazing. Dr Scurry was very patient and thorough in my initial appointment and recommended the surgery to reconstruct the deviated septum and turbinate reduction. He answered every question and was confident that he could meet and exceed my expectations.On January 26th I had the operation at the Piedmont Outpatient Surgery Center. Again, amazing friendly staff and experience. Post surgery I received a call from a nurse daily checking on me and giving me instructions and expectations as is related to the healing process. My healing went well, swelling is down and the appearance of my nose is remarkable. Perfectly straight.Today I had the splints removed after 14 days and I could cry tears of joy. I CAN BREATHE! I have a much better sense of smell and feel that my life has changed forever. A big thanks to Dr. Scurry for being amazing at what you do! And a big thanks to all of staff for making every step of this experience positive.

Dr. Scurry has been so fantastic through my process. The day of surgery, at the surgical center, the ENTIRE staff blew me away with how wonderful they all were. From the front desk all the way through to the nurse helping me get in the car after my surgery, went beyond any expectations that I could have ask for! I didn't feel like a number but was cared for in every way possible! I have already recommended Dr. Scurry to 2 family/friends and will continue to recommend him to others. I can't begin to thank him enough for the wonderful experience I have had with him and the staff. He is very warm all the while being professional and he's extremely knowledgeable! I feel very confident in his abilities for my medical needs and wants! I will have more procedures that are optional at this point, and would not go to any one else but him for it. I can't say enough wonderful things about him and his assistant! She has been with Dr Scurry for 7 years and they work so well together. She is so warm and kind and I love her to bits! Thank you Dr. Scurry, I can finally breath and have a beautiful new nose that I LOVE!!! You are the best! UPDATE on the Rhinoplasty part of my surgery...it didn't turn out the way we wanted it too. I have 3 pieces of cartilage sticking up on the top of my nose as well as one side has an indention in it. I've had to go back every few months so he can keep an eye on the progress and we have decided that he will have to go back and fix the problems. We'll see how the next appointment goes and when I have to go back in for the 'fix it' surgery. I hope and pray that I don't have to pay for this fix...I'll keep you posted.
