I had a 50% MCL tear. I was in constant pain and limping all the time. Dr Patel took care of me and Im now 2 weeks post surgery and Im already almost back to where I was before the injury. The limp is gone, the pain is gone. Everything was great working with Dr Patel and his office.

Dr. Patel was amazing. He was able to get me in very quickly for consult and schedule surgery in the short amount of time my schedule demanded. After 6 weeks from knee surgery, I have made a full recovery while following his treatment plan. My knee is better than before! Thanks Dr. Patel.

It has been 1 year since Dr. Patel performed a complete knee replacement of my right knee. I could not be happier with my results! Before the knee replacement I could not walk further that 20 yards before it got to painful. Now I am pain free! My husband was having knee pain as well and after Dr. Patel looked at his X-rays he told my husband about some supplements that would help his knee. It worked! My husband and I will not hesitate to go to Dr. Patel in the future if we need him.

I came in with knee issues lasting 8+ years and left FULLY healed. A huge transformation from the daily pain and problems I was having! Thank you Dr. Patel and staff!!!!

Over the last few months, Dr Kushal Patel has treated a painful shoulder issue. He immediately diagnosed the issue on the first visit, treated the shoulder and prescribed physical therapy. Substantial progress has been made thus far by following his prescribed plan. Dr Patel has surrounded himself with staff that are outstanding. Together they provide thorough, professional, kind, caring attention to each individual patient. Dr. Patel replaced both of my knees in 2017, the right in June and the left in November. Everything since has been better than I could have ever anticipated! While I realize I may not be the 'norm,' initial recovery-to-light duty work was under 4 weeks for each knee. A real milestone hit me about March 2018 when I found myself walking a couple of extra blocks just because it was a nice morning, unfettered by pain. He's the best!

Matthew Britt, podiatrist at this location has been great! I had a crazy accident happen losing my toenail and fractured it at the same time! He has been very thorough and I can tell he really loves taking care of his patients as he takes the time to explain everything to you and answer all of youe questions. Cute too, so thats a plus ;) lol

I was referred to Dr. Kushal Patel to repair my right shoulder. I had massive tears and multiple other issues to be addressed. He gave me full information prior to the surgery, which made me comfortable with the process. On the day of the surgery, he explained what would be done prior to the surgery, and then afterward gave me details (including photos taken during the procedures) of exactly what he did. He also gave me a four-phase protocol for physical therapy. Each time I have seen him post-operatively, he has been very thorough in checking on my progress, and telling me what to expect over the next weeks and months. He always checks to see whether I have any questions he has not answered. I will happily refer others to Dr. Patel, and will definitely use him in the future for all orthopedic needs I have within his particular scope of practice.

It's 2 months now after last appointment, I was with Dr Patal and I started with him treatment for my shoulder taking injections and preparing me for a surgery my last appointment was on12/28/18 I came to the clinic and the clinic was closed and no one call me for reschedule my appointment and I drive from fort worth, I received call to confirm the appointment before 2 days and when I called the office they said we rescheduled all the appointments and you should come to Rockwall office and the woman was very rude with me , I wait 2 months just to see if they care about their patients and they don't.

I have had a wonderful experience with not only Dr. John Zavala, but with his Assistants. Especially Bob. From my first visit for an injury to my rotator cuff, through my surgery, follow up visits and the referred Physical Therapist for my recovery. The treatment process was clearly explained, in addition to the recovery and rehabilitation period. This allowed me to stay positive throughout my physical therapy and not be discouraged of my progress. I would recommend, not only Dr. Zavala, but the team of Specialists. Especially since I've used them for a previous knee injury.

The worst experience ever,saw Dr Patel because of a cyst in my hand and because i couldn't afford to pay my whole portion of the bill i asked could if i could make installmental payment and was denied,regardless of what the insurance company paid i was refused treatment, if you can't afford the treatment don't go there,the receptionist was rude to me,never been treated like this before.No problems taking my $35.00 co pay at all.

Dr. Bruno Gross at Orthopaedic Specialists of Dallas is an excellent doctor. He listens patiently (even if you ask the same questions over and over). Dr. Gross replaced both of my hips, and one of my legs was longer than the other, so on the second hip surgery, he lengthened my shorter leg. Dr. Gross also replaced my left knee using robotic surgery. My leg was quite crooked, so he straightened it at the same time as the knee replacement. If you need knee or hip surgery, you need to consider Dr. Gross. He's amazing. He explains everything to you in terms you actually understand. I will need my other knee replaced soon, and I am definitely going to use Dr. Gross again.
